I'm hoping to make one, and drop them in to some of my local Woolworths and EB Games and other shops like that.
I want to find somewhere which isn't too far away as well, which is why I think those places are alright, since I have like, 3 different Woolworths and EB Games within 10 minutes of where I live. I wouldn't mind getting somewhere a little further out though. My plans exactly!
I'm thinking JB HiFi would be an awesome place to work, and I hear there is awesome staff discounts too!
I know what you mean. I worked during the summer and made about $600, but I only work I've decided to only work summers until Senior Year.Being a teenager and all I'd pretty much go anywhere if I actually had a job, I need the money :P
I thought Ireland was rebounding back? That sucks. I mean in America it could be worse than it is, but at least I can easily find a job in my area (for minimum wage), and if I get into a local college, I know that there should be a job for me on campus.I'd kill for some work. I'm a student with no income, but it's impossible to get jobs now. Especially with the economy here in Ireland having gone down the tube completely.
I was until recently, then I got a seasonal job. Too bad I can't keep drawing unemployment.Aren't we all looking for jobs? :c
I'm hoping to get a job through my school's cooperative placement program this year, basically instead of going to school every other week, I would work full time in the field I've been studying in.
Eh, I would just assume stay unemployed then work there. Fast food places are the last place I would want to work at. Even if they made me a manager at a place like that the most I would ever make is 10 dollars. I would just assume look for retail or restraint jobs.Literally everything is hiring where I live. Tacobell, panda express, best buy, gamestop, harry and david (a fancy grocery store), among others.
And these are just places that have had "now hiring" signs in their windows for a long time now. I'm sure there are plenty of others that I haven't seen.
I've heard that about gamestop too. Best buy is apparently the same way though. I'm planning on getting a job at harry and david.Work at Harry and David or Best Buy.
Game Stop is a terrible place to work (friends as well as other people have told me that almost all managers are jerks), and you really shouldn't work in the Fast Food buisness. Not the best pay and you won't like what you are doing. Two summers ago, I pushed carts and stocked shelfs at Shoprite (huge supermarket company in NJ) and I enjoyed it so much, even though I only worked three hours a day, three days a week, making minimum wage.
I don't know about Best Buy, but I haven't heard any complaints about it.
Forge papers, I doubt the unemployement office will notice.turns out i'm a kenyan refugee without working papers. oh well better luck next time. :c
I heard Gamestop over works their workers. I haven't heard anything bad about Best Buy, I know a couple people that work there some on the floor and some on Geek Squad.I've heard that about gamestop too. Best buy is apparently the same way though. I'm planning on getting a job at harry and david.
