It really does, don't I wish I had the money to go now. Ahhh... School is really one of those places where eventually you do just get bored and really can't wait for sometime away for a place where they fill your brain with whatever knowledge their shooting at you.

I think if you really genuinely enjoy learning about certain specific things.. school doesn't feel like a place you get bored at..
Sometimes in highschool people can be lucky because they're interested and excel in a lot of different subjects..

I was that for the most part.. besides math and science.. I could do them.. but I just found them to be extremely tedious .__.
No creative input.. ._. So I don't understand why we couldn't just like.. in real world perspective.. hand off figuring out mortgage stuff to someone whose job it is to do exactly that >_>

Now that's one way to make use of type disadvantages, haha. XD

Riiight...well I've had my fill of rants and tl;drs for the night, it's late and I should be off.

Goodnight!

G'night Katalyst! Pleasant dreams~!

Goodnight! I hope you sleep well!

I hate those nights when you can't seem to sleep for some reason >_> Or the nights where you sleep too much and feel drowsy for the rest of the day..

Those nights are really awful, or them ones where it's too hot so you can't sleep at all. They annoy me, too.

Ah that's very true, but at the same time the reverse can be just as true as well. When you have so much free time on your hands, you'll find yourself yearning to be more busied, and you may even end up envying anybody who complains about things like work and education because they have something going for them in their lives at this very minute. It's not fun to be stuck in limbo and it kinda feels like you've been shut away from the world for a long time if you don't make proper use of the time you have to yourself. x_x; I've been through that before and it is enough to make you depressed.

Ohoho they showed it off enough, the double battles got really irritating after a while because I'd always mix up the places in which certain trainers appear, and I'd often forget I'm not playing Ruby and Sapphire anymore so the battles would obviously differ. XD;

Nah, I can't be nerved at...holy crap 11 PM.

Yes, it does work both ways, you have a point there. I do feel sorrow for those people who are unfortunate to be in that type of situation, it must awful for them, I've not had the experience at all, I would sort of like to know how it feels but in a way I don't at the same it seems so heartbreaking for a person to go through this type of situation. Being shut from the world is depressing for sure. You have? Damn, that sounds like a pain of a time to go through. DD: I guess you've learnt a lot from that experience though?

That ohoho reminded me of Card Captor Sakura then. XD Damn, I haven't watched that in a while. Yes, they where rather annoying but I suppose it's something we have to put up with. I still remember two trainers talking to me and going "What the hell is going on here, only one can battle at a time!" and then thought my game had broke. XD; Yes, it was an easy thing to do when playing Emerald for some reason, I never did that with the other games but I'm not sure why.

It's about 11:20 PM here, I'm supposed to be sleeping now. XD I can't for some reason so PokeCommunity all the way!

Good night, Signomi.

Edit: I see what you mean Kura, it is an advantage if you do enjoy your subjects, apparently I'm good in most of mine but just don't really get active enough into them to enjoy.

No matter what the game, I do an insane amount of level grinding. My thing with R/S/E was that by the time I got to Victory Road, my Electrode and Bellossom were in the neighborhood of Lv 53 while everyone else was at 46 or 47... because of all the Water-type trainers :o

I never do! I'm always INSANELY underlevelled.. in ALL videogames.. >_> I ususally run from battles than fight.. and that's probably why..

I was at the last boss in KH2.. and I couldn't beat Xemnas's final form.. and a friend came over to see if they could beat it for me because they're really good..

And they were like.. "HOW THE FUUUU!!!! HOW DID YOU EVEN GET THIS FAR?!!!"

I level grind all the time and I hate the Elite Four:(

I only grind if the battle system is good. I've only grinded a lot in one game; The World Ends With You, because that game has the most epic fun battle system ever. Pokemon's is so suck.

I was playing Emerald a couple of years ago and, for the first time, I used a team of 6. I got to Liza and Tate with a team of 35's across the board and just gave up. I did it again with the Random Pokemon Challenge + all OUs (lolololol) and managed to get up to the Elite Four with a level 45 team. I save-state'd my way to victory against Wallace's beastly high-50's. D:

I also beat HGSS Red with a team in their mid-60's. Damn, that was hell-hard, and I love my Scarf-AirSlash-Uberhax Togekiss now.

I hear BW is hard. Anyone played it and can explain how big the level gaps are? Because if so, I'm now very scared. I have none of the stuff I've known before. No Intimidate + Bulk + DD for the win, no Serene Grace hackers, nothing. ;-; i'm screewwwed if I play with a six-man-team...even if there is armadrillo. ;D In-game sandstorm tea--- wait no i don't have ttar ><

people are already playing BW ~_~ i still haven't played HG/SS, but it's on my list of things.....

I've heard it's actually pretty difficult. The normal type gym leader (forget her name) makes Whitney look like a fool, and Kamitsure the Electric gym leader is tough too. people have been saying they're usually down by 4-6 levels from the Gym leaders. :/

Normal gym leader is Aloe--unless that suddenly changed.

I can't wait to play the games, even if they're hard, as far as training goes. It'll just make them a lot more exciting. From the screenshots I've seen, the games seem pretty awesome. :D

/is very excited about the English release which is a while away ;;

I think the reason I'm going so freaking slowly through the games is because I keep having to grind between every gym. :/ It's not like other games where by the time you make it to the next city, everything has levelled up once or twice--you're lucky to level anything even once before you move on. But the trade off is that you get to and from other cities a bit quicker so there's less tedious "first time" travel time. So you can usually just train in the grass around a city and rush back to the Pokémon Centre whenever you need to.

But augh, even wild Pokémon used to be able to take me out if I wasn't careful. D: I've gotten into the habit of overlevelling now though so it [usually] isn't a problem.

Fun game though!

...hi double post!

Having stronger wild Pokemon means a stronger team if you capture all of them. :D

:( I tend to catch the very first new Pokémon I see, which somehow tends to be the lowest level thing in the whole patch of grass. XD;

That's why you shouldn't avoid spoilers!

...because now I know most of the Pokemon and how they look, so I can pretty much know what I should catch and shouldn't (because I already have favourites :3).

And knowing the rare Pokemon is helpful too, so then you know whether to catch them or not. XD;

I went through every single Pokémon in Gen 5 tonight to view them and see how crappy their shinies were. XD;

But at first I was just catching everything and, tbh, with the amount of training I've had to do, it's been really easy to tell what's good and what isn't. Too bad I've already picked all my favourites so I could care less what's best, haha. But still, once I nickname something I usually get so attached to it. T_T;; So catching something "really low level" and then finding something higher level... I can't bring myself to switch the lower one with the higher one if it's already a part of my team. D:

I feel that way sometimes too, especially when it comes to boxing away. I know on HG, due to the follow me feature... I can't box away Ho-Oh because it loves me so much and it's so adorable and-- yeah this is why I'm glad B/W doesn't have that feature, lol.

Oh and I even got attached to wild Pokemon I found in the PokeWalker >_>;

Ergh, Pokéwalker. I've been raising a Cherubi on that thing since May and I still haven't managed to get it to level 25 so it can evolve. XD; I think it's at level 23 or so now but since I haven't taken it off the Pokéwalker in about 3 weeks, it's only gonna level once. This is the problem I keep having, lol.

I really wish Pokémon still followed me. :( I'm attached like WHOA to my team already but I imagine I'd love them all a lot more if they were following me everywhere like my team in HG did. ;~;

I keep it in my bag for like, 2 weeks at a time just to see how many watts I have. XD I have about 600 at the moment I think, so I probably should transfer it to the DS. Though with me, I only use it because it involves numbers. If there wasn't a high amount of watts in total you could reach, or something to unlock, I wouldn't use it at all.
/only feels inspired to walk to places because of that

...Bachura following <333 I would love that, but I think it's saved up for the third game, anyway. Plus it means I can box away Pokemon without feeling too guilty.

I just clip it on my jeans whenever I go somewhere. I'm currently at about 3k watts and I think the last time I returned from the walk was the weekend that Black came out in Japan. xD I have to walk to and from the bus stop everyday, plus walking through campus so I get a fair few steps, though not a LOT or anything, but enough. Now if only I could easily pull my Pokemon off so I could make use of said steps and watts. :( But it'd require actually turning my DS off to switch out the games so oh well.

/like never, ever turns DS off

Yeah, I get that feeling too, Lightning. In HG, I caught a Zubat in Dark Cave at LEVEL 2 and grinded through 8 levels of Zubat Hell before getting to Union Cave and rendering it temporarily useless. I then found a level 9 Zubat in the cave. -insert cry here-
