I've never tried contacts personally, however I wish to try them one day whenever I can actually pay for them, right now I'm good with glasses, I think, but I don't necessarily like them at times.

And regarding cosplay, I don't think I'd go to the trouble getting contacts that change the color of my eyes, even if it would make me look more authentic. 'Course, I never try as hard to cosplay as a certain characters like others do, so why would it matter? XD;

Glasses do fall a lot ^^;

And your friends shouldn't yell at you. Try getting THEM to wear glasses and see what it feels like. Although you can get 'em tightened or put on glasses straps... /never bothers with either

My glasses kind of look like Ruby's from PokeSupe~
Some of them have contacts and they call me a baby for worrying to much :x

Well, my eyes can get very dry and itchy, so I would imagine contacts wouldn't help that situation. Probably another reason my parents never suggested contacts to me when I was younger.

And on a semi-related topic, I've had surgeries on both my eyes (about two years apart) to remove cataracts. So in a way I do have artificial lenses in my eyes.

Both times I went to the hospital after birth and whatnot my eyes were involved.

First time: I rolled around on my parents' bed and my left eye (if I recall correctly?) hit the corner of a nightstand. Had to get stitches for that.

Second time: I sprayed air freshener in my eyes because I thought the thing was pointing the other way :D

I've been thinking getting laser eye surgery to get rid of contacts and glasses all together, but I'm a bit scared :3

Same here, but I've had them since 3rd grade. :/

I'm scared that if I do end up getting it, that they might mess up D:

3rd grade glasses buddies unite! /brick'd

And don't be afraid, have confidence in the surgeons' work! Unless you go to a really cheap one, then you better pray :B

If you're so worried then don't get the surgery. It's not that much of a dilemma if you can't even trust your medically trained surgeons.

Trusting them = No glasses/contacts! 1 vote.
Not trusting them = Glasses/contacts for life. 0 votes.

I think I'll trust them, after a few questions tho.

I used to think I looked terrible with glasses. Now I don't mind wearing them at all~ A friend of mine also wore glasses up until first grade or so (I think?) and doesn't need them anymore (unless he has contacts, which I doubt). Seeing old pictures of him makes me crack up almost as much as when I hear his cell phone's voicemail (he recorded it before his voice dropped a couple octaves and still hasn't changed it, so it's seriously hilarious).

I've been told I look better with my DKNY glasses then without but idk, I might just wear some sunglasses all the time when I get contacts/laser eye surgery because I'm so used it :o

Sunglasses would be cool, aye~

Just don't get round ones and walk around with a stick else people'll think you're blind o3o
lmao I won't do that. Altho, I just remembered I have about 10 pairs of sunglasses I never wore because of my glasses D:

Awww...

I remember I had gotten these Johnny Bravo sunglasses as a toy with some kids' meal (forgot which restaurant; most likely McDonald's or Burger King since they're the usual suspects), and thought they'd fall off when I rode an upside down roller coaster for the fourth time ever (or fifth, or something; I rode it a bajillion times after my first time on that one day). I was young, and knew nothing of gravity.
