Acid rain could make me cry blood as well.

Especially if the rain hit the inside of my eyes.

Dude. Bleeding through your eyes is a very real problem. Eyes are one of the most sensitive parts on the body.

And if you really think it's that much more painful than the eye, then why would you still hurt a guy there? (besides the obvious "because he was assaulting me" answer)

I personally know that my eyes are insanely sensitive, moreso than other people's. But I have worn glasses most of my life, and I'm pretty sure that has a lot to do with it.

The eye is surprisingly strong, it's pretty hard to break it if I recall correctly. It's probably more likely to kill a guy by hitting him in the eye because you can actually hurt the brain that way.

Or so I've been told.

Hard to break, yes. But it's still very sensitive, probably because of its proximity to the brain.
