Maybe we'll get a new, improved laser eye correction surgery in a few years, you never know. I've seen some recent scientific journals and there are some big medical breakthroughs on the way.
Lets hope :D

And a cheaper version too! Yea like thats going to happen >>

I'm just amazed as to how they can invent all of this, it seems like there's no limit of what humanity can do.

Same. Just look at what we've seen with our video games. I remember when the Nintendo 64 and the Sega Genesis were groundbreaking in terms of graphic capability, now look at games like Call of Duty: Black Ops. My grandfather couldn't tell it was a video game. xD

When I was playing SSBB and my grandma walked in, she thought it was a movie, then I told her its a video game and she was stunned, lol. That is what happens when your grandparents lived in a small village in India :o

I was playing Ghostbusters" earlier this morning on the 360.

My dad walked by.

Dad: "You're watching Ghostbusters"
Me: "No, I'm playing Ghostbusters"
Dad: *Dan Aykroyd as Ray Stantz is on the screen* "Oh. Well, it sure looks like him. Sounds like him too*
Me: "It should sound like him. It is him."
Dad: "Really?"
Me: "Yeah. And he wrote the script too"
Dad: "Huh." *sits down on the couch, intending to use his laptop to look something up*
Mom: "I thought you were looking something up. What are you doing?*
Dad: *a cutscene is playing* "I'm watching Ghostbusters"

My parents always assume I'm playing Pokemon, even if I'm currently disguised as the enemy on Killzone 2. I'd like to see how they go from a bright, cheery animal enslaving game to a dark, gritty FPS, with space marines for extra measure.

I think me and you have the same parents...

I'm playing Halo reach and they say it's pokemon =/

My parents are all up in my business like....

uh...

Yeah they bother me a lot.

...same for me. Nan and Pop always assume everything is Pokemon; especially Sailor Moon.

My dad's a gamer, so he doesn't assume anything is just one game... I mean, he and I even went half-and-half on a new 360 last April. And he's bought every new Call of Duty since Modern Warefare debuted. Plus, he also wants me to get Civilization V so he and I can go head to head at it, or, at the very least, he can try it out.

He and my mom do assume that too many video games/electronics are bad for you, though.

That's a really funny story. ^ xD

My older brother was the one who got me into pokemon when I was little. He had Red and Yellow Version. He let me use his Yellow Version, eventually as I got older I kept buying more and more pokemon games and I'm still playing them today. I remember when I was about to go into Highschool, and he told me I shouldn't be playing Pokemon games anymore (and he tells me) and I told him, I don't care what people think of me, I love Pokemon, and it's not just a kid's game. But yeah, I'm not going to stop playing a game that people think is only for kids. Plus Pokemangz is ossim. :P And I"ll never get tired of it. Haha.
