I had a friend, well, not really a friend, more of a neighbor, who had a magician at a birthday party one year and I was standing kinda off to the side and could totally see him slip that handkerchief through a small hole in his hat.

Apparently I had once gotten slapped by a clown because that was his idea of a 'joke'. There had been a huge fight b/w him and my parents after that though. This was like when I was 5-6 years old anyways, iirc.
