Geez, that's a lot of different foreign words and phrases. It reminds me of this video, which is also somewhat relevant when it comes to Americans changing phrases.

Lol, we use dollar in our country, because frankly "A day late and a rupee short" would really not have the same impact as a dollar xD

Impact not deep enough?
Guilty. Yes, guilty.

Relevant seeing David Mitchell here though. Just finished watching That Mitchell & Webb Look. David and his articulateness...brilliant.

I'm a Libra!

Somewhat related.

Relevant question: Do people not from the US replace currency in common sayings? Like "A day late and a dollar short", "dollars to donuts", "top dollar", etc. Do people from other countries replace with their own currency?
We don't use those phrases at all but I guess that's because we're not an English speaking country. I don't think people do though, a phrase is a phrase.

The Chinese zodiac is hilarious as a kid because you're in like middle school and everyone you know has one of 3 signs, hahaha.

Yeah...it's pretty boring too.

Personally I never got the point of Astrology, even as an entertainment thing. Sooooo yeah I lead an interesting life

Astrology is amusing! I like to read through all the horoscopes for a day after the day is complete and see how many I match with their vague wordings, hahah.

I feel this is the best way to go about it also. If you read at the start of the day I feel you'll start applying what was written in the article to the day and starting making it more true than it really is.

I think most people take astrology light-heartedly, although there are some exceptions. I just can't stand some psychics (aside from pokemon), the ones that will tell people they are communicating with dead loved ones, to make a quick buck. It's fine though if the psychics keep it on light-hearted subjects.

Those are the worst people. I don't think there's a problem if they do it for free, because some people are actually brought at peace by it, but it's just evil to con people during their more desperate times.

I know, right! After my grandma past away my mom saw a psychic that told my mom that my grandmother said she was very worried about the metal health of a family member, and said that she seemed very distraught and anxious in the afterlife. I told my mom that is was a bunch of bull and told he that psychics leave lingering questions that make people feel urgently compelled to go back again to be fed more lies that cause anxiety and depression.
