You guys didn't miss much. There was a DBE and a backup that combined to take the site down for two hours mid-afternoon my time.

I have struggling to find motivation to do University work.
It is very annoying.

I have this same problem so often it's not even funny.

In Canada, we have snow days when the snow is up to our waists. :U

It's like the same here in the part of Minnesota I live in. :V

I'm trying very hard to not do any homework this holidays at all. :D

Oh god...

Peel schools in Canada where I used to go to only had snow-days if the snow was about...20 cm. :/

In the UK, if we get more of a inch of snow, the whole country is sent into chaos. It is so stupid.

And I also hate it when people moan about there not being enough snow, then when it snows, they moan about it. FFFFUUU!
I think that you're contributing to the stereotype that people in the UK are always angry at everything.
Anyhow, I didn't have much homework and the homework I had was fun(Formula Transformations, anyone?). I'm nervous about my history test :O I think I got a 94. Well, that's where it starts >_______>

I live in Toronto so I guess we have better snow repelling methods. It'll only take a few days after a large snowfall before the salt trucks come and make the roads usable and the snow plows make the sidewalks worth their name. :U

@Bloo Is a 94 good or not...?

@Team Fail Everybody here was split into two categories:
"OMFG noooooo"
and
"That was cool! Play the video again!"

The plows stopped plowing that Saturday because they couldn't see and kept running into ditches.

Pfffft, 50cm of snow getting to you?

Try 500cm of water. Right now, a large amount of Queensland is under siege by an equally large amount of flood. Something like a 5m peak in central Brisbane yesterday (which covered a large area around the Brisbane River, shutting down the CBD and filling many suburban areas with water), and the water won't be letting off for days or weeks to come.

Your arguments are invalidated completely.

Yeah, it was kinda windy that weekend, TSO. JUST A LEETLE BIT.

And that's a lot of freaking water. What caused all that again? I forgot.

That about sums it up. @everyone else: Your arguement is invalid :P

Wat. The freaking Alberta clippers you send our way just don't freaking stop coming. :V

I've seen 1 snow day my whole life.

IT WAS AWESOME.

I have seen 5 snow days in 13 years of education, and that's because school buses can't drive on gravel roads very well, and the storms usually never come until midday, or are done by 10 AM. :V

The flurries never stopped coming down. :U

They never stop coming down. It's part of living in Canada or Minnesota (like I said, I've met people who know people who think we live in igloos). :V

I live in Toronto so I guess we have better snow repelling methods. It'll only take a few days after a large snowfall before the salt trucks come and make the roads usable and the snow plows make the sidewalks worth their name. :U

It takes maybe a day here, as long as the storm isn't still actively trying to keep us indoors. :V

You think that's bad? Actually that does sound kinda bad, but I know people (on here of course :P) who think I have a kangaroo in my back yard.

Well obviously you don't. That'd be more of an outback thing, and still a rare occurrence at that, not an urban/suburban thing, right? :V

About the igloo thing: how hard is it to figure out that we don't have snow here year round? That's what I wanna ask people who think that. :V

Yeah. There are seriously a lot of people who think that. We may talk kinda like them to you, but we still are part of America! I mean, Charles Lindbergh freaking grew up here. As did Bob Dylan. And a few other people I'm spacing on. :V
