Around the World was our theme last year, lol! And she and her teachers are dancing to "Baby Boy" this year, too. This is so freaky! O_o She actually wanted us to go in on Monday night at 9 to make up our production dance, which is "Mickey" (Oh Mickey you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind...) by B*Witched or the original girl. That's creepy talking about a mouse in that manner, lol. Do you know how long that's going to take with ALL the people in our school? She's so stinkin' slow. You weren't supposed to have music with your tap? That's like, a sacrilege with my teacher. I don't like our costume with mine...mine is "Beat It" by Michael Jackson...^_^; Very Disney, huh? Our costumes are so skanky, too. It's disgusting. My Princess Jasmine costume even scares me. It's not even Jasmine's outfit! It's gold and magenta and I have this Arabian hat that she NEVER wears...grr she makes me mad. My hip-hop songs are a mix of 80s rap music. "Walk This Way", "Funky Cold Medina", and "It's Like That". Eh. Wow, at least you guys are already selling tickets. We only have one show. How stupid is that? Only one rehearsal, too, which is the 11th. Everywhere else has 2 or more performances except us. Yeah...my teacher, the owner, is extremely dumb. And my tap dance wasn't supposed to have music but now it does... it sounds like "My Favorite Things" from The Sound of Music. This recital is gonna be so messed up. See, my tap teacher got fired a couple weeks ago! Apparentyl he was having an affair or something with someone in my class... but maybe I misunderstood my mom! I hope I misunderstood her! So he's gone and now I have a different teacher and she added music to the beginning and basically added a new dance onto our old one! It's really messed up. And the recital is also having ticket issues... we sold out of Sunday tickets within a week. And a lot of the seniors who are leaving this year need Sunday tickets since that's their last show ever! It's so messed up... I hope it goes well though!
I guess I'll have to tell my sister that Shrek 2's a good movie then! We did like the first one so we'll both probably enjoy this one too...

Wow... that really is freaky! Our dance school isn't that big. It's big but not really big like the other one in town. I went to the other school dress rehearsals the past 2 years to watch my friends dances and it was so chaotic! I hope mine isn't going to be chaotic this year! But I'm pretty sure it will be. Yeah my tap dance had no music only because instead of stupid Broadway tap (I'm sorry I just hate broadway tap and jazz) we're doing rhythm tap this year. So it was originally going to be just us making noise... but when my teacher got fired my old teacher came back and basically added a new dance onto the beginning. So now it's half music, half no music. It's a little weird... but I think, or hope, it will fit together in the end! I mean, we're the finale! We have to be good cuz we're dead last! My costume for tap is a little weird too. My hip-hop one I haven't tried on yet so I don't know much about it yet. But my tap one is kinda... uh, ghetto I guess is te only way to describe it really! It's baby blue cargo pants that are really, really, baggy! And they're glittery! Okay so glitter isn't ghetto but the costume behind the glitter and baby blue is! The shirt is a tube top thing that's also blue and a mesh leotard goes over it so it's not that bad! But it's really hard to tap in those pants... they're so heavy. But I won't complain about costumes... my first tap one in 5th grade was by far the worst... let me just say our song was called, "Mr. Banjo Man" and I'm serious too! We had giant inflatable banjos that we had to pretend to play and my teacher even told my class that they would look real to the audience! I found that statement hilarious! Anyway the costume was a one-piece suit with tails and all! But... it was neon yellow! And... had neon green, pink, and orange stripes down the sleeves! It was by far the worst costume I ever had to wear! Yeah, we start selling tickets early... but they are all gone. I feel bad for the people who didn't get any! But they should just have their families go to the dress rehearsals. That's what I would do. But my mom bought hers right away so she's going to the sold-out Sunday show. No one will be there Saturday. We have a new owner too! More freakiness... wow. But she's owned it for a few years now.
