Teachers as drug dealers? I'm pretty sure none of my teachers do that. Only my messed up 7th grade Spanish teacher... but the vodka was for herself! I think. Last year there was this one guy who would stand on the corner just off school grounds and sell drugs to students though... everyone would go to him for stuff. My school has a pretty bad drug problem but what I hate is that they blame it on my class! What did we do? In our town newspaper it had a poll about alcohol usage and all the statistics were about the sophomores... some, like, 60% of sophomores in my school drink or something...

I don't think I have the flu... or at least I hope I don't. And my throat isn't as bad anymore. Either way I'm going to school tomorrow. I don't care if I'm sick or not. Unless I throw up (which I don't think I will) I will go to school. I haven't ben out once this year so why start now?

We have Drug Dealing in the Second Basement, It's really safe down there so you could even smoke without getting caught. However, even I'm not that stupid to smoke :)

My math class was freezing today! My teacher had the fan pointing at the ceiling but I sit on that side of the room anyway so I felt all the air! It did feel nice though! But it was a little too cold! I had to go to the IBM lab for English this morning and it has AC! But right after class when I stepped into the non- air conditioned hallway, I couldn't breathe! It was too hot! Maybe I was just so used to the AC though...

It happens to me also.
After you breath the AC air, you get used to it.
Then when you go to another room without it, the air around it smells wierd.
AC classrooms make them look cleaner. :P

Ah, bad case of some how standing out, or are you just the rebellious student that takes nothing from no teacher? =P Yeah, some of my teachers hate me also, but it's only because I rebel to them. >=D If I see them doing something really stupid, I am not afraid to tell them what's on my mind about it. Luckily I have not had to rebel much this year, because most of my teachers are really cool and very fair (well, except for my French teacher..)

Because, they like to make themselves feel better by making their students do what they want, or they are just doing ti because a student is being disobedient by talking with their friends when they should be paying attention to them (Teara? ;p).

Oh oh oh! You rebel you are! =P Power to the people! (as some guys would say everytime I walked into class late) ;)

Yeah, that is the kind of thing I would do in that situation, so I can't exactly tease you about it =P If they are being ignorant for no reason, then I'll just ignore them and do what I want (nothing like walking out, I have never done that). It's funny, I never thought I was rebellious until my grade 7 teacher called me a rebel for coming inside of the school on cold winter days during recess. ^^;

LOL *fears the jealous eye* =O Well, would it make you feel better that I don't have reccess anymore? ^^; grade 8 was the last year that we had reccess, and to be honest, I am glad that we don't have it in high school. If we were to have reccess, we would literally not get out until about 4:00 pm (which would be an hour and a half more of horrible school). So yeah...it works out better for no reccess in high school here.

Lol, I despised recess. XD Last year, we would be forced to go outside. If it was raining or snowing too hard, then the grade 8s would have to go and supervise the younger classes. The grade 6 class I had to watch was just terrible. Being outside wasn't much better, because it was either too cold or too hot. x_X; Lol, sometimes my friends and I would just sit in our classroom and hide whenever a teacher or someone walked by. XD

Meh.. luckily, there's no recess in high school. <3 Lol... plus, like FT said, if there was recess, the day would be so much longer. =\ As long as I get a lunch break to finish up homework that I should have done the night before, I'm happy. XD

*ztartz day dreaming about dayz of recezz*
*zniff zniff* I mizz it ;.; I played zoccer every day or chazed the boyz around :P Either way I had fun...erm...at leazt the dayz I didn't have to zit out of it due to *cough*behavioral challengez invoving the clazz guinepigz,ratz, and birdz (Little buggerz bit me)<.<
Thank goodnezz we didn't have detentionz in grade zchool...

The last time I had recess was 6th grade... my last year of elementary school! loved that year... except the fact that I got sent to the principal's office that year! Recess was usually fun unless my friends were in an arguement with each other. I would always get stuck in the middle. Occasionally I would be in it but usually I was the messenger trying to make everybody friends again! I was usually too quiet to argue with people. But yeah, recess now would make school so long... and it would be pointless in high school too. Everyone in my school would leave school grounds to do drugs or something. It's better this way...

Just do what I do Lighty, "stick it to the man!!" =P It is not fair for them to shove you out into the pouring rain or freezing/hot temperatures, while they sit inside enjoying the luxury of air conditioning. I'd like to see how they'd feel getting stuck outside to face mother nature day after day, and then not be let inside because we're blocking the doors. -_-;

Wow, I thought this reply was adressing me. :P
Probaly because I'm in 7th grade and has recess.
Recess deosn't make the day go longer.
It waste time for school and I don't have to make up the time.

Btw, did anyone see the commercial about WB's Superstar USA?
Boy! Even my nephew sings better than them. XD

Recess = waste of time... as if a 70 minute long lunch hour is not long enough. School will end later if we have recess, and what can we do in recess? If you want to talk, talk in class, not recess ;p

XD Lol, it's true! It's not as though recess ever solved the problem of talking in class. And another thing that was stupid about recess... they would always tell us that we couldn't go to the washroom - we had to wait until recess. But then when recess came, we would be ushered out of the school too quickly to even walk toward the washrooms. o_o And when we were outside, since recess (excluding lunch) was 15 minutes, the teachers on duty as supervisors wouldn't let us go in to use the washrooms because it was "too close to bell time". Idiots. XP

And you get 70 minutes for lunch, frosty? That's a long time. o.o; We only get 45 minutes at my school... which could really be condensed to 30 since it takes me forever to get out of french class. Lol... my teacher keeps us doing little quizzes and the like right up until the bell rings. Then she points to the homework board as we're all packing up and makes us sit there and go through the pages to make sure we all understand it. Then we can finally leave. 9_9; It's very annoying. (But at least today I had the easiest test EVER~ <3)

That was frustrating! I was off-line for a half hour cuz my wireless connection was screwed. I had to have my dad fix it for me... his stupid card doesn't work right. But it's all under control now!

Anyways...my lunch is only 20 minutes long... and I always have plenty of extra time after I finish eating. And seniors are allowed outside during lunch... but only seniors. So they kinda get recess...

Everyone is allowed outside during our lunches. We're even allowed to go to the mall which is right next to our school - and that place has the BEST sushi. But... I'm pretty slow, so I've yet to go there during my lunch break. I'm paranoid of getting back late and being late for class. o.o; Generally, I tend to have about 15-20 minutes of extra time after I eat my lunch. I just sit there talking with my friends and stuff. @@;

And I hate it when my internet stops working. It only seems to happen when my dad is out of the house, though. And he's really the only one who knows how to fix it... since I'm pretty useless when it comes to technology. X3;

My lunch is 25 minutes long (Was 20, but students complained.) and I get to eat outside. Only Sophmores, Juniors, and Seniors are allowed to eat outside though. Freshmen can't, but some of them do anyway and get in trouble.

My internet likes to quit a lot. At least it did... It doesn't happen much anymore, which is really nice. It likes to slow down though, but then I can just switch to a different screen name and back and then it's back up to speed.

In middle school we were allowed into the court yard for the last five or so minutes of lunch. Not like we could do much out there... we would talk but that was it. In the high school only seniors can go outside... but they can only stay on school grounds... no wandering away. They can stay out for the entire lunch period though. 20 minutes is long enough for me to eat my lunch and have plenty of time to talk... if I'm in a talking mood... and for the last five minutes of lunch they play music for us! That's our reward for throwing away our trash... my school is weird!

Well the issue with my internet was that I was using my dad's wireless card... which doesn't work well obviously. So I had to get him (luckily he hurt his leg and can't work for awhile) to come up and fix it for me. I'm not good with computers either... he's the only one that is. Usually he'd be at work now but he's home for awhile...

Oh I found out my boss called my house! My dad came into my room while he was on the phone and asked my how much water I drank at work. I drank juice there and I had water all day. Later I asked my dad who he was talking to and he said my boss and I thought he was joking! He was serious. My boss was worried about me cuz I felt sick... even though I never told him I was sick! Now tomorrow I'll never hear the end of it! But maybe he'll send me home early! That'd be nice!

I actually have no lunch, just a "spare time" at a block near noon. We have classes at "lunch" time and if you have no classes, then you have "lunch." That's why lunch is so long because it's just a spare technically. I filled up 3 of my days' "lunch" with classes too, but next year... will be darn boring =/ A long lunch = waste of time... I would love to condense lunch to 20 minute and go home almost an hour earlier.

I have like 35 minutes for lunch in middle school right now, but I spend the first 10 or 15 waiting in line to buy a lunch. I don't feel like making my own.
