I get no support from my parents either, never have and probably never will. You just got to support and encourage yourself, that's all that you can do.

Eli, are your parents not supporting you? Poor Eli. My parents are sometimes like that. Like when I won the class speech fest and went on to win the school speech fest. They did not even congradulate me much or support me when I was nervous. ;-;

Being punched in the eye though, that is not necessary no matter what the circumstances. If that happened over here the child would've been taken away from the parents.
