Perhaps an important fact is 30 degrees CELCIUS for our American friends ^_^; (if you're one) 30 degrees celcius is a LOT warmer and stuffier than 30 degrees Fahrenhait. 30F is like a cool day ^^

lol... it was snowing this morning ;p (a bit and then it melt at 7)

Right now it's 1:08, and have to study for chinese school... o.o;
*panics about final exam*

Hey frosty, it's nice to see a familiar face online at this time of morning (even if you're always up at this time :p). Chinese school eh? Cool, I would rather learn Chinese then French. >_> It sounds like such an interesting language to learn, and it would actually come in hand in the future, because if I go to China to get some pokemon merchandice that can only be found there, it'll make it simpler to purchase things without having to act out what you want. :P

Oh... and chinese people's specialty must be bargaining... it's like in our blood to bargain if my family is back in Hong Kong or something o.o; the skill of bargaining is like... I'm born with it ._.;

Lol and yes I'm usually up at this time... usually getting ready to bed but then tonight since I went to fellowship all the way until 12 (waste of time... this time), have to stay up late to cram XD;;

and yes French is evil

*Quag~!*

Hehe, I don't have a problem with the French people, it's just that I would like to only learn it if I actually want to learn it. Right now I am currently pnicking somewhat because I am horrified to think that I am going to have an exam on the past, present, and future tense of French x_x I'll definitely need my dad's help for that.

Blah... I bombed on that verb test on imparfait, passe compose, present and futur simple... There are way too many verb groups, and special cases within those verb groups, and a special case out of the special case of that verb groups (aka all verbs are close to random in terms of patterns). I don't hate France or French people, but I dislike how I'm forced to take it... x_x;

*disses those accent grave and accent aigu in french, and all those billions of verb groups, and how unclear imparfait vs passe compose is, or maybe it's just that his teacher sucks too badly*

Its 11:30 here so Im on till 1 so sew me lalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalalala Merry had a little lamb whos fluff was as white as snow.

NOOO! ENOUGH!!! Those words are torture... Passe Compose, Imparfait, Past Tense..AH! *Dies* My evil French teacher has crammed 5 CHAPTERS into our heads in this month since May 1st! And We are in like Ch.67 :o
Je suis Mort :)

---

Im still up at like 3:36 AM EST due to HOTNESS, It is like a million degrees here.

Naw, it isn't the teacher, it is just that it is true. They expect us to remember all of these different types of verb groups, and then they try to make us memorize past, present, and future tense. -_-;; It is just too much to try and force into my brain. Also, my teacher makes it confusing because she talks EXTREMELY fast in French, so it's hard to even hear what words she is saying. x_x I can remember some of the stuff that she teaches us, but most of the stuff just goes in one ear and out the other.

Well female french teachers are sometimes inpaitent and like to speed stuff up.Almost everyone in my French class ignores her..XD

Well I was talking about my teacher... Shanahan = one of the worst teacher I ever have... Who spilled coffee on herself, and decides to drive home in the middle of the class to change? =/

And Jess shouldn't you use a future tense for that? You said "I was dead" o.o; Shouldn't it be "Je mourrai?" (is the radical for mortir mourr? I don't remember... I just learn Futur Simple 2 days ago and mortir is one of those 'special case' crap...)

Lol, I find that a lot of people in High School these days like to rebel against learning French, it is literally the most hated class by students, but can you blame them? =\

Wow, your teacher left the school in the middle of the class to get changed? I can't even imagine how chaotic it must've gotten while she was away. XD Is your school like mine where when the teacher is gone, we'll just start talking constantly?

*sigh* I find it funny how so many old teachers crack a joke at our generation, but yet our generation of teachers aren't that great either. At my middle school, the teachers would always let us talk (except for when they were writing on the board), and they never did anything about it, but when it came to the end of the month they yell at US. -_- It is their fault that the students are talking, because if they don't make it absolutely clear to them that talking is not allowed, then they will not stop just because some teacher just decides that he'll make everyone stop talking one day.

Top 10 Methods for Teachers to Gain Control in Classrooms (but in no particular order)

1. Act old, look old

example: it's more likely you'll listen to a grandpa talking to you, than a young man at age 27 talking to you assuming that the 27 year old is not dressing in a threatening manner

2. Dress as official as you can (

dress in a suit, and you look knowledgable already. If you look knowledgable, it's more likely that people will respect you.

3. Don't crack jokes. Be strict and evil.

Controlling with fear is easier to control with love ;p

4. Use propaganda. Learn from Stalin.

(no example available because he has been completely terrified by his teachers through this way already)

5. "We're 5 classes behind schedule!"

Always say that your class is behind, then some students will panic and work harder.

6. First day impression: you're evil

Make yourself an evil impression through shouting, scolding and don't allow anyone to talk. Once the image of a devil is stapled upon you, you're invincible in terms of controlling the class.

7. Lie, and lie more

Exaggerate and make up stories of failure... tell them to your class, and strike even more fear upon them

8. Be monotone

Dont' make funny gestures or funny accents for students to make fun of you with.

9. Do the 8 points above

If you do the above 8 points, you're gurantee to succeed in controlling the class (at the sacrifice of your reputation being evil)

10. Go teach at OSA in Edmonton

Be surrounded with fellow staff members who are equally evil, if not more evil than you

*completely random post, and don't know why he posted this about teachers*

My French Teacher does this:

-Smile when you fail a test

-Smile when you do something wrong
-Scream when you pass a test
-Act like a b*** whenever she wants too
-All The Above
