Paris's and my name start with 'P', but that is where the similarities end. I'm just glad I'm not banned for two months over a few hot words in the School thread :B

And I am not banned a lot. That would only be the third time. :B The staff and I have a colorful history. We like teh dramaz. I've been a member here for 4 or 5 years. I can't remember if it was '02 or '03. That 'Sept' up on my thing is actually when I joined the 'new' PC, but there was one before this. I am member 151 if you notice.
 
I've never been banned and I don't need to suck up to the staff to stay a member either.
 
I've been banned before. It was like two years ago, but I was a major noob. XD
 
I've never even been warned, i feel so left out. At least I have (or will have (maybe(maybe not))(wow thats a lot of these things-> ( ) <-)) a jumpsuit to jump in to comfort me.

I've never been banned from here before. I just got 1 warning a couple of months in but that was because I was a noob. XD
 
I got a warning a while for trying to explain rom patching to someone in a hack thread, never been banned though.
 
Wikipedia has some weird pages... especially for referencing. Like some pages lead you to another site, and yet, on that site, the reference is back towards Wikipedia.... O.o Never 100% reliable information for any sort of use, we've been prohibited from using it for our assessments.
 
Same here, they even blocked it on the school computers.
 
Wikipedia was also advised as a source not to use at my old school as well. Anyone can write whatever they feel there, which of course make it very unreliable.
 
I can see why as Wiki can be so easily edited by.. well anyone, but a blanket ban for assessments even if it's been written and has valid sources on the page seems a bit too unreasonable for in my opinion...
 
I had a research paper in English last quarter and if I would of been able to use wiki it would of taken me 2 hours tops, instead of 6 days.
 
I've got two research assessments to do this upcoming week and without Wiki, I can see myself spending quite a lot of time searching and processing excessive data...

Why can't they just make it easy for us? =X
 
My school doesn't ban many sites at least not Wiki. Phew. 0=

Just the vitally necessary ones. If you get my drift. XD
 
My school bans almost every single site that we like... we get block from all sorts, like game sites, Bebo, Myspace etc... and the usual kind of stuff you ban at schools. (i.e. R18 material)

I hate the school's security though... they can watch your every movements on your screen from their own computer, which is kinda worrying.
 
Yeah I hate that they don't let you go on any chat sites ie. Bebo and Msn.

At my school we can go on most game sites.

But nobody does what they like cause the teacher's watching you all the time.
 
Oh yes... and MSN or forms of IM too... which is probably the worst part. =x

We have the teachers still watching us, but there are some who bend the rules and take it to the "next level". Like the other day in class when they were searching up this thing... which I just won't say here. =X

Hmm.. well we get banned off the computer access for an entire term if we get caught for doing inappropriate things. That's pretty much it, unless you do something really bad, then priviledges can be taken away (thinks back to person being demoted from a prefect).
