My school doesn't do anything to people that go on game sites. But any R18 things and they call your parents and ask them to come in to see what thier child has been doing.
They have blocked all sites like myspace and Bebo. They try and block game sites. But new ones come up so quick they can never block them all. E-mails are supposed to be blocked. But me and a friend found a way round it.
IM sites are always blocked.
 
There are too many game sites for schools to block... it's really hard unless you have like an insider giving them information. >.<

Aaah.. would that be via a proxy bypass website by any chance?
 
True, even though sites in chat catagory are supposed to be banned, some of the lesser known ones aren't blocked.

Same goes for offensive and graphical material. 0=

You could always change the web settings to "Private Browsing" all the sites got un-block when I tried it and there are a whole lot of Proxy sites but most of the Proxy site don't play YouTube or games:(

Also true, all proxy sites I've heard of don't play Java or Flash player. =C

The Wikipedia doesn't get enough credit though, it's much more reliable than people think.

And it's Sinchan, not chinchan.
 
Yeah, even my school in Japan used it a lot. If there was a rock solid 'pedia that covered as much as the Wikipedia, then people would love it. But the only reason that the Wikipedia has so much information is because so many people write for it.
 
It still sux that they blocked wikipedia, what other good sites they have blocked? oh yeah YouTube, I could understand why it's block but it's a cool site
