There are slight, unimportant differences in spelling.

Also "Z" is pronounced differently in Canada then in the States.

:/ Isn't.. Canadian english just like any other english?

*Blinks*
More or less. :| We have our own words and terms that are different from other English-speaking countries. So while it's still English, there is a difference between Canadian English and American or British English. (For example, timbits is a common word here but... not so much everywhere else. XD)

Also, hooray for zed. :x *much prefers that to zee*

Wow, never realised how many fellow Canadians were here. and yay for Tim Horton's too! Now what was that little Owl thing called that we used to have. I can't remember but it came with a semi-language of its own.

All languages have their own varying dialects. ._.; I hate the Australian one.

I don't like it, though. D: I just want to wipe all traces of Australia off me.

That is like so un-patriotic. The good thing about Australia is... at least we haven't got bombs exploding in our backyards, unlike other places.

Of course it's unpatriotic. This country sucks. The good things about it are being ripped up and destroyed.

As for bombs, pfft, don't think that'll last for long.

Lol, Jack and the DCC and bombs.

But like, Australia has AFL, no other country does. So that makes Australia important.

What are we talking about, dialects? If so the Dublin dialect is awesome. If anyone says it's not, I'll give ya a box! BTW just so you know, Irish people very rarely speak Irish, except in the Gaeltacht.
Also Ireland is great because we have Gaelic football and Hurling, our two own sports, which don't suck immensely at. Which brings me to Ireland's crappy rugby team. After the last two matches we're never gonna qualify.

Australia's military, while technologically on par with the United States, the United Kingdom, China, and India, is by far numerically inferior, with only 51,000 active-duty personnel, just over 50 ships in its navy, and just under 100 fighter and attack aircraft of two types.

That and your average Australian is a bloodthirsty idiot.

Ew, sports.

You know... it has been said in the past that the hardest dialect or accent for people learning English at first to understand was the Australian and New Zealand accents. People get used to it after awhile, but most find it difficult and usually different to what they're taught (since so many learn the American pronounciations).

Oh, I don't care about that. I just hate it. It's so... ridiculous. =_=; Plus I can't bear the stereotype.

Everyone has stereotypes. :| We Canadians adore them, though. Pretty much everyone I know has told a foreign friend at least once that we all live in igloos. The high class citizens are the only ones who have electricity. Everyone else uses library computers. :(

Also, it's mandatory to own a pet beaver.

How insanely awesome is that..whats the reason behind? I used to own a pet raccoon when I was like 6 then one morning it disappeared without a trace T.T

I dont like cats cause you cant play with them -.-, I prefer dogs where you can play fetch and take them jogging with you XD
