im in ur dcc, revivin ur threadz.

I'm not a Haruhiist, but I certainly love the show. :D

I think I break a record...I mean six hours is a long time, dont you think? XD

I'm a haruhiist...obviously. XD

I think Dawson's record was over 24 hours once. Unless I'm mistaken and we broke it at 23 hours just to piss him off. I can't remember.

I've seen a few episodes of that series, but that's about it... D:

For some reason I lost interest in it afterwards - though I think that was more to not having access to it than because I didn't like it. I thought it was a decent show. Maybe someday I'll try watching it again.

What? You are in a Haruhi club on PC, how hard can it be to find other Haruhiists?

Jordan.

Well...yeah but wouldnt it be better to join my forums? I mean, at least you wouldnt have to worry about anti-haruhiists and me and Jack are trying to get more people to join...[/false advertising]

I think recently, Jack killed it all night long. XD

Yeah... I've never watched that show before... ~_~

You should. :D It's really awesome. <3

ip addresses

Uh... wait, what are we talking about?

IP's?

What's an IP again?
I have no idea what they're talking about.

IP however is short for internet protocol. IPs usually refer to IP addresses, which is the number of your computer when on a network. analogy gun...fire:

It's your house number. On a very big street. Whenever you visit a site, you ask the computer at the site's house number to send you a page. They send the webpage back to you to your house number.

Banning works in this way, you ignore the messages from certain house numbers.
I think so, he said something about IP changing, but I didn't really pay attention, and the person was only on when he was.]I think so, he said something about IP changing, but I didn't really pay attention, and the person was only on when he was.
It isn't really possible to change your IP address, but it is possible to make your messages come from a different address. You go to a friend's house or get someone to send on behalf of you.

You can find out your IP by going to sites like these: ip-adress.com.

Go easy on him. he just felt like he should inform the rest of us.

As for the anime, If I can't even pronounce the name of it, Then I don't even bother.

Oho! I beg to differ.

If I can't pronouce the name, it makes me want to watch it more. =D

It's not a hard name to pronounce... the great thing about Japanese is that everything can be sounded out so easily. ♥ It makes it much easier to read when you don't know the language since all you have to worry about is syllable emphasis. 8D;

Well, even if I could pronounce it, I would probably still wouldn't watch it. i really don't like drama, and most anime is full of drama. I'm just like action more.

Who said Haruhi Suzumiya was a dramatic franchise? There's lots of comedy and a fair amount of action.

I've always though Japanese was easy to pronounce. If my vocabulary was larger it'd be easy for me to read in Japanese :x

I just got the first DVD of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya yesterday. I thought it was pretty funny / cute of what I've seen so far ^^

then there is a slight chance i might try to watch it. Would I be able to find some clips on the internet? some fairly large clips?

As always, Youtube has something for what ails you. I can't recall any specific clips off the top of my head, but just do some searching. It's well worth the effort.

...I thought it was. XD

To be honest, I never really hated it. D: I dont hate things unless I've experienced them first. I was more or less nuetral towards it. XD

Well, the Haruhi Dance just sealed the deal. What network is this on? Or is there a DVD set out there?

Unfortunately for those of us on this side of the Pacific, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is not currently airing on any American networks.

You can pick up the DVDs at your local Best Buy or FYE, however. Four volumes, all released by Bandai Entertainment.

=D *wants to learn*

Maybe someday..
