I never studied. If I ever tried studying, I would fall asleep or get side-tracked or find an excuse. I'm guessing that would explain my bad science grade... ._.

Goodness... Over here teachers don't bother giving summer homework. I think they're too lazy or something. Look on the bright side though, Simon. You always have to almighty power of knowledge found in the internet. You can honestly find answers and help with anything on Google.

That's my plan for the essays I have. The internet can only do so much for me though. I'm not capable of sparknoting an entire book and passing a test on it, so the reading I still have to do. However, my friends are rather experienced passing a test decently with just sparknotes or whatever else. ._.

Nope. Science is the one thing I've never had to study. A lot of the time I wouldn't even know some of the answers, I'm just really good at guessing things.

Yeah, true. As much as the internet has, it can't be a fail-safe solution to everything. At least it can help a bit. You even have to pass a test based on the work you did over the summer? Man, Simon, that must suck. .___.; Hmmm... try making a study group with your friends and pass on information between yourselves and help each other. It's what I do when I'm faced with a tough homework assignment.
 
My friends don't do any study groups or anything like that. I have to do everything on my own. I prefer it that way though as nobody is able to take the work you have done and say that they did it. That happened to me once when I let someone read my work and they copied some of it.
 
At my school I never get homework in the summer, that'd suck if we did, though. D:

Science used to be one of my weakest subjects in late year 8 and early year 9, but I managed to do well enough in my SAT exams to get into top set when I go back.

I tend to use google a lot when I have homework, just to get it over and done with, I guess. XD;

i dunno, i've always had excellent grades but i dont care much about the work itself. high school is boring.

Isn't though. I was really dissapointed when I started high school, everone always told me it would be great, and it's not. I don't know, maybe this year will be better.
 
I stopped doing my homework. But know i regret it. I didn't do all I could to pass so it my own fault I failed.

At my old school, Google was blocked and Wikipedia wasn't?

Not sure about youtube.
 
I've never checked Youtube, but Google and Wiki are allowed.

It's weird that schools do it different than each other.

Well Paul, you've got a good point. My I.C.T teacher was on a site like that.

Can't believe your school blocks nothing. I thought schools would block the same things.
