Only the Deoxys deck is legal, and the 2006-2007 tournamnet season is the last year it will be in. Sorry.
 
I have a brief question that may have a common knowledge answer, but it's been ages since I've been here, so forgive me.

I just bought Lucario and the Mystery of Mew on DVD, and it claims it comes with an exclusive Promo card. However, the card that comes with it (Mew, of course) appears to be from an actual numbered set. What exactly happened there?
 
Promo cards do have numbers. Let me know what the number is, though I'd put money on now that it's 035, 036 or 040.
 
It's number 111/110, and it seems to have the Holon Phantoms symbol.
 
Technically, that Mew is a "promo" card in the sense of the word, as it's only available by buying a booster box of EX Holon Phantoms booster packs. So that's probably why it's called a promo card. It's as good as. :)
 
So it's a box topper, then? I don't think it's as good as a promo, because it lacks exclusivity, but hey, I didn't have one before!
 
i need some help here... tell me, in the middle of a game, i just putted a basic pokemon in my bank,switched the active pokemon with it, used a wally's training at it,used its evolution poke power, and then at this same turn in wich this happened i use a surprise!time machine and evolved back that pokemon....

someone tell me, can i evolve a pokemon using wally's training in the turn i putted it in my bank,use its poke power, and use a surprise!time machine on it to evolve it once again , all that at the same turn?

Bank? You mean bench? And please be a little more specific as to what you did so I can help you further.
 
i am from brazil, i speak portuguese, and in portuguese we say bank...yep u r right, it is bench

here is what i did; my turn began, i switched my active pokemon with my clamperl at the bench.the i used the supporter card "wally's training" that allows me to search for my active pokemon's evolution at my deck and evolve it(i evolved it into huntail).used huntail's pokebody wich allows me to put a react energy from my deck into huntail.then i used the rocket's secret machine "surprise!time machine" wich allows me to put the higthest evolution stage from one of my pokemon in play back at my deck and then search my deck for another card that evolves from that pokemon and evolve it(i shuffled huntail into my deck and evolved clamperl to gorebyss).then i putted an energy at gorebyss and attacked.

the problem is that when i evolve clamperl using the "surprise!time machine" it counts as evolving that pokemon, and i have already evolved it into huntail that same turn...

teel me all illegal thing i hav done in that turn...
 
Hmm.

As far as I can tell, everything you did in that turn was completely legal. :) Unless Huntail already had a React Energy card on it when you used the Reactive Generator Poké-Power. But unless you did that, what you did was all OK. :)

r u sure?... because when i use surprise!timemachine it counts as evolving that pokemon, and now that i had already evolved that pokemon in that same turn... wouldnt it be illegal?

You evolved using Wally's Training, although this is not actually an evolution. It is a trainer and by passes the typical evo rules- such as being allowed to be played first turn.
Your move was completely legal - and quite impressive (i.e. good use of complex trainers and power).
 
Well, as this is chit chat, I just snagged an awesome card of some n00b in my class. It was the Misdreavus Holon Phantom's version. I can't believe he thought it was bad. I don't believe that he "forgot" to look at the Pokemon Power, as that's what made it the best. Really, I just wish I could find three more, as it fit's well into a psychic deck, and I'd use it as a main attacker. Any of you seen it?

There isn't a Misdreavus card in Holon Phantoms. I think you mean the Legend Maker uncommon one?

Eitherway, its not a good card anyway. Deep Sleep only works when Misdreavus is ACTIVE (unlike Dark Gengars). And the opponent must be asleep for you to use Dream Eater (after a Return Trance) for a measly 30 damage. By the time it is your turn, there is only a 62.5% (or 50% - I couldn't be bothered to work it out properly), before you have to use a Return Trance to send your opponent asleep again.
Stats are ok for a basic, but not good enough to focus as a main attacker.

30 damage=LOL
 
I just started to collect Pokemon cards does anyone know if Houston, Texas supports events? I went to the Pokemon TCG site and they said Heroes Collectables has a League going but, I cant find out were that place is. Any help PM me please.
 
Guys, I added something to rule #3. Any cards I post on July 2nd on wards, you must leave a number rating. You WILL be warned if you do not leave a number rating, even if you are a moderator.
 
Yesteray i got a diamond and pearl booster pack and i got a lvl 59 machamp with 130hp and dynamic punch.
 
I wish I could get some DP packs, but my money is limited.

Anyways, you guys should make more topics. I want to see action and stories about your battles. Post here if you want. Make a thread about how someone cheated you. It's topic like those that will help this forum. Please guys, I need help improving this forum, and I know you guys want it to improve. I don't want to do it without you users.
 
Just a minor heads-up, no COTD tonight since PokeBeach is down. However, there will be two cards tommorow.
 
he can u guys go 2 my pokemon card trading thread? its in my sig. plz? u can upload ur scaned cards or ones u found on web sites and trade them here! and u can battle useing aim/msn photo share or video options! if u have the web cam u can have a live pokemon tcg battle!
