Taiki was livid. Here he was in a strange village, and suddenly some idiot was telling him to get up, jump out the door, and run around screaming in order to get tougher. Fifty laps? Fifty laps? Who the heck did this Guy person think he was? "Fifty laps! What the heck?!?" he shouted, before clamping a hand over his mouth. For once, he wished he had kept his jaw shut. The Konoha shinobi was now staring at him in a manner akin to that his father had used when he had just broken some family heirloom as a little kid practicing with his chains.

"What! How dare you patronize Konoha's Prideful Green Beast? Another fifty laps for you, to teach you some respect!"

Something snapped, deep in Taiki's brain. A little voice that was constantly accompanying him began to whisper in his ear. Guy was still yelling, but the Sunagakure shinobi wasn't listening. As he pulled himself to his feet and moved towards the door, wearing a blank expression, his hand slipped outward. Score- even if Guy had no pockets, he did keep a very fat wallet in that vest of his. Taiki slipped his ill-gotten gains into his vest. The last thing he needed was for his teammates to find out that he had gotten sensei steamed and stolen his belongings in one day.

It was like a herd of wild animals charging out through a small door. Miharu took her time standing up, and walking towards the door. Koba-sen had already sat down at his desk, reading a book about who knows what. Miharu gave a slight wave towards her teacher, saying, "Goodbye, Koba-sen!" But her teacher paid no attention. He was deeply delved into the 'storyline' of his book. Miharu sighed and walked on. She was hungry, and wanted to get a bowl of ramen. She walked past Shuichi's seat and out to the open air.

"Ahh…" Miharu breathed deeply. The sensation of fresh air filling up her lungs was like splashing herself with cool water. The wind felt like it was coming from different directions. But the prevailing wind seemed to be hitting her in her face. She smiled as loose leaves fell of their branches, and swayed to the motion of the wind. Miharu held her hand out to catch it. It kept descending, until it landed softly on her hand. Miharu clenched her hand tightly into a fist, with the leaf inside.

Meanwhile, Shuichi was still inside the classroom, in his seat, staring out the window, although Koba-sen had not noticed him. He focused his eyes onto what was happening outside; people were dispersing away from the classroom building. Then he changed the focus of his eyes; he saw his own reflection on the mirror. His brown hair spiked down, as usual. His skin was in the same tone as it always was. And there were no protrusions, or scratches or any markings on his face, save for the two fang-shaped 'tattoos' underneath his eyes. And his eyes were dark red as always. He once again changed his focus, so that the outside world was visible. There, he saw Miharu, waving her hands, gesticulating. It seemed that she wanted him to go outside. Shuichi sighed, stood up and left the classroom, without Koba-sen even realizing it.

At the sight of Shuichi exiting the building, Miharu smiled. She ran up to him. Shuichi, on the other hand, was looking at the floor with his hands in the pockets of his black trousers.

"Hey…" Shuichi said timidly. "Do you want to... Go eat some ramen, or something?" Miharu's eyes lit up. It's like this guy's reading my mind! she thought. Miharu quickly nodded in agreement. Shuichi lifted his head and turned to look at her. He smiled at her, and she smiled back.

I sped through the dark, gloomy village running into a couple, not caring who or that I did, I just kept running. 'Oh great! I'm going to be late!' I thought as I continued to speed to the designated building to meet my new sensei. 'He's probably going to stick a kunai into when I show up!'

I almost collided with my new sensie as I rushed to meet him and Kuroi. I skidded too a hault to avoid the collision. I bent over and rested my hands on my knees as I tried to catch my breathe. I looked up at my sensei. He looked like the rest of them, expect that he just had pale skin. 'Oh great! Couldn't they've given us an at least a normal looking sensei?' I stood arrect and braced for an attack as I introduced myself to my new sensei. "Hi! Sorry I'm late sensei, I um..lost track of time. My name is Hiryuku Night." I said as I leanded against the railing Kuroi was on. Suprisingly, my sensei didn't attack me. I turned to Kuroi, 'Might as well try to be nice.' "Hi! How's it going?" I leaned against the railing waiting for a reply. 'Oh come on Night! You know he won't answer you!'

"Alright" I said, yawning lightly, it was good to be active, maybe this would help me shake off the boredom that was starting to sink in. I saw the sand ninja leave and glared, first he had gotten our teacher riled up, then he had just left? not really the best thing to do, especialy since this was might guy, the strongest and fastes shinobi in the leaf village...if not the most 'modest'. I walked over to our sensei and tapped his shoulder. "best not to get too bothered over him" I said in a flat tone "and you may want to check your wallet, he just tried to pinch tsunade-sama's wallet before you arrived" I added, pushing my sunglasess up the bridge of my nose.

"Hmm... you say he is a thief? He must not realize that cheaters never prosper!" Guy shouted, while digging through his vest. "What!? Where is my wallet? I was saving that money for the matching jumpsuits for my next pupils!" With that, Konoha's Prideful Green Beast rushed out the door. Taiki was conspicuously absent. "Hmm... I'll go catch up with him. If he knows what's good for him, he'll have begun those hundred laps now. You two! Let your springtime of youth carry you through your own fifty! The last one to complete them does six hundred kicks with the wooden practice dummy!" With that, he was gone in a flash of green.

Taiki, far from completing his laps, had moved as quickly as possible to the remotest place he could find- namely, the hot springs on the outskirts of Konoha. His high-speed escape had been made possible because of the seven or so years he had spent perfecting the art of running away from people who wanted their supplies back. He made a mental note to give the bone-boy a chain fisted punch when he got back. Now he had Konoha's resident health-and-fitness nut gunning for him. Groaning, he turned toward the springs. There, upon them, he could see a sphere of chakra that he could just barely make out the outline of a pair of figures through. Before he could investigate this new development, however, a green blur sped in front of him, and he was forced to pull his arms up to defend against a kick that sent him tumbling head-over-heels. "G-Guy-sensei!" he managed to cough.

"Give me back my wallet, you! Why are you not completing the training I assigned you! Do you not wish to become strong!" The dome-haired martial artist raged.

"I do! I do, Guy-sensei, it's just that-" Taiki paused for a moment. The art of lying to get out of trouble was another thing he had perfected during his time as a pickpocket. "I wanted to get extra-strong, so I ran outside the village, but I saw that weird chakra thing and wanted to investigate! And I'm sorry about your wallet, sir, I just wanted to see if the great Might Guy was as powerful as they say he is!" he finished, completing the whole thing with an obligatory kowtow. A little bit of flattery never hurt, especially with a shinobi that Taiki suspected suffered from egotism to the same extent that Taiki suffered from kleptomania.

The "Green Beast's" face relaxed. "Hmm... an honorable maneuver. As long as you promise never to do it again and apologize to me for your disrespect earlier, I will let you slide." Taiki's head began bobbing up and down like a seesaw. "And the apology?" Guy asked.

"Um... I am sorry that I payed no respect to the great Might Guy. Forgive me." Taiki mumbled.

"Good. Now, back to your training! Remember, the springtime of youth waits for no-one!" Guy roared, causing a very humiliated Taiki to scramble to his feet and take off. When I meet that skeleton kid again, he decided, I am definitely going to break his neck.

As Mokutou's eyes changed from red to white, he was beginning to see things. "Wow, eyes are amazing on how you first look at the world once again." He smiled as he looked through Ason's point of view. "Hey Ason, if we get into team battles, will I be able to use that jutsu from a distance or does it have to be used in physical contact?" "Wow, I hope I will be able to learn this technique fast." He then saw himself as he lifted his head and smiled again. He noticed he had grown alot and thought of Ason as him looking through a mirror. "Ason-kun, will you teach me this jutsu? What is it called?"

As it was, Kuroi simply glanced at the girl, his arms folded, surveying her odd appearance and began to revel in his misfortune all over again. "Fine." Was all Kuroi could choke out before feeling disgusting for addressing a commonor who had addressed him in such a casual way. Hachino-sensei re-introduced himself and gave a tired smile for my new partner, saying, "Well then, why don't we tell a little something about ourselves? You know, get to know each other better? I'll start." His smile turned kind of pitying as he said, "I'm one of the least respected Jounin in Sound, so I wouldn't parade the fact you're on my team for respect points. But the good thing is is that I'm one of the smartest. Well, because you seem to be mysterious and lonely, why don't you go next?"

Kuroi averted his gaze from the sorry lot that was his team and mumbled, "Kira Kuroi."

Before he could say anything else (not like he was going to,) Hachino-sensei interuppted, "Well, as long as we know your clan background I suppose we should all know what you're like in general." He obviously didn't want the usual long-winded speech of the Kira's. Hachino-sensei turned his gaze onto the commoner, "And since we've just learned your name," Kuroi had no recollection of this event, "Why don't you tell us a little about yourself? It'll be better if it's not just me doing all the talking!"

OOC: Um, so when is everyone going to meet each other again? Because in Rain, I'm kind of RPing with...uh... myself. Which kills the point.

I fell over as he mentioned the jumpsuits. "like he'll ever get me into one..." I muttered, going to start on my laps, remembering to keep an eye out for the sand shinobi. I started at the inside of the gate and ran up the wall, meeting a few shinobi at the top. "assignment for guy sensei" I said shortly "fifty laps around the village, so im running at the edge of the village" I explained, running along the wall quickly. I had completed 10 laps in just a few minutes, one of the shinobi at teh gate keeping track for me, handing me a bottle of water as I reached the tenth lap.

I'm not sure that you will be able to learn it very easily. It would take a ninja from Konoha five years to learn it. So it wold probably take you about two years...but I may be wrong. All you need to activate this technique is an image of the person you will be transferring your eye's with and that is also why it may take you longer to learn since you can't see that many people. The technique is called Eye Transfer jutsu and it allows someone else to see what the user see's. Back at our village I-" Ason was then cut off by a loud siren. "What's going on?" Ason wondered. Then a person's voice came out of a speaker. "All ninja are to report to the hokage Immediately!" "Oh no, did something happen to the- I mean, who cares. OK, I guess we have to go, Motukou." Ason then jumped from the hot springs to a nearby roof and headed straight to the room in which the Hokage (Tsunade) was held.

OOC: We will all be meating very soon.

I huffed and puffed as I followed behind the Takamine guy. I kept an eye out for the sand shinobi and finished my tenth lap. I felt a sudden presence behind me that had an evil desire. I turned my head around and found Guy with a green jumpsuit in his hands. How he got one so quick I don't know.

He threw the jumpsuit at me and I dodged it. "C'mon Daisuke , put on the suit!" he said as he got a clean new one out from inside his vest."What the heck!? Don't put that on me! I don't wanna put on a jump suit!" I yelled out of fear of wearing a green jumpsuit. "Then you have to beat me to fifty laps then!" He yelled back as he ran just a little bit closer to me. I ran as fast as I could as I left Guy in the dust and caught up with Haru. "What's up!" I said to Haru.

"Crap! Stupid emergency meetings..." Shiruba had experienced a lot of these drills, and came accustomed to arriving and recieving some kind of stupid escort mission for a celebrity no one has heard of. Other times, he had a cleaning duty along with the rest of the village. That day had been on a lower level than walking Ton-Ton the pig. It was downright degrading.

Without even bothering to continue his search for his squad, Shiruba sprinted to where the meeting was being held, stopping to look back after a few steps. For a brief second he was torn between the Hokage and the genin. Then he remembered one of the most basic rules; Hokage comes first.

I rolled my eyes as I got only one word and a nod from Kuroi, but knowing this arrognant boy, shouldn't have been too suprised. I looked back over at my sensei as he introduced himself and who he was. 'Doesn't suprise me they treat him like crap, but at least he's smart.' I came out of my thoughts when I heard Hachino-sensei cut Kuroi off and address me. I smiled a little, not really willing to show I was happy about it. 'Ha! Finally! That spoiled punk got what he deserved!'

"Um..let's see...I'm dumb, but I'm not a genius. I prefer to use Taijutsu and Genjutsu, I'm not much of a fan of Ninjutsu. I don't like a lot confrontation, I'd prefer to strike fast and hard. I live alone, my family was all killed by other shinobi. That's about it." I said as I looked at both my team members. 'Probably said too much!' I sat down on the railing and rested.

"hes gonna force us" I stated "but green clashes with my eyes" I joked to guy sensei, leaving him behind "your not getting any younger old man!" I yelled to him, already on my nineteenth lap, having passed daisuke several times alerady. for some reason, the wall seemed smaller than usual, but it was probably the fact we were taking it at ninja-jumps that made it seem so short. I reached the entrance and found the man with the bottle holding a new one for me, seems every few laps he'd give me ten laps. I drank it quickly and continued running, wondering if we'd do this every day, if so, we'd be in perfect physical condition, but would be so sore we'd need a day break for rehab for the first few weeks, before our mucles got used to it.

Mokutou heard the emergency and started to walk while hitting things with his Kusanagi to make noise. "Great. What does this hokage want now?" He then started to run and started to think about how he can make that Eye transfer Jutsu. He arrived alittle off by minutes, but at least he was there.

I blinked, unfolding my arms and getting up from my spot on the railing after the girl practically spilled her guts out for us. Hachino-sensei was nodding, as if unfazed by the news that her family was not with her, and in fact, I caught wind that he just really didn't care. But at least she admitted she wasn't smart. Opposite of myself, she did quick strikes to take out her opponents. While, I, myself, liked to take my time and toy with them- er, well, so to speak, make them suffer. Shaking my head I looked expectantly at Hachino-sensei who clapped his hands together, making me flinch at his cheerfulness, as he said with a tired voice, "Well then! Do either of you have anything you want to do? Perhaps do a bit of training, or go to get something to eat?"

I looked around at the gloomy place that was Sound and wondered, Eat? Where?

"I refuse to eat in a commonplace." I said unfeelingly, "Hachino-sensei, surely you know-"

"Ah, of course, my bad, my bad," Hachino-sensei interuppted, earning him an irritated face and a vein pop from me, who was normally completely and utterly indifferent to everything, "But it's not exactly commonplace if it's your place, is it?" I fell silent, "...Are... you inviting... yourself over?" Hachino-sensei's smile grew wider and I narrowed one steadily twitching eye, trying my hardest not to just walk over and strangle the man.

"Judging by your interupption of my introduction," I spat out the most words I'd said since my arrival in Sound, "You have obviously already encountered the Kira Clan. Surely you would not invite yourself into that drea-... Fine. I get your point."

"Well then, now that that's settled, why don't we get some soba noodles at my place?" Hachino-sensei asked, turning around and walking away as a normal person, instead of speeding himself up as any time-saving shinobi would. I decided that Hachino-sensei needed a life, other then messing with people's brains and leading his life at a snail's-pace. I followed him grudgingly, with my hands stuffed into my pockets again.

Soon after the two arrived at the Hokage's place, Ason looked around and noticed that no one from the academy was there except for Mokutou. All Ason saw were about ten Jonin, seven Chunnin and about four Genin, including Ason and Mokutou. "What happened to everyone?" Ason then looked over to where Tsunade, the hokage was sitting. Another woman walked up to her and whispered to her. "The only people we know aren't here are Shiruba, Guy, Furisama, Taiki and Haru. They are the ones who just graduated from the academy...Well except for Shiruba and Guy of course. But the weird thing is, is that Shiruba's team is here." Tsunade put a finger to her lips and began to think. "Hm, we'll give them a couple more minutes." The woman who was just now talking to Tsunade bowed to her, showing that she agreed and walked over to Ason and Mokutou. "Ooo, this is a great way to get Shiruba kicked out......Maby, maby I should give this Shiruba a chance...BUT...If I don't get the least bit stronger withing a week, then i'm not listening to a word he says...Is it me or am I getting softer...Nah!" The woman had finally approached Ason and Mokutou and spoke "Hello, would you happen to know where your sensei is?" Ason looked at the floor and when he lifted it he said. "Oh, yea he is on his way, he just had to get something really quick." "The announcement said to come here immediatly...Don't cover for him." "No disrespect but, why would I lie, I honestly don't even like the guy." "Okay?" Said the lady while turning around to walk out of the room.

As Tsunade walked away from Ason and Mokutou, Shiruba dropped behind the two from the ceiling. He had been in the building for about two minutes now, and hung from the ceiling just for fun. Tsunade frightened him because of her weird missions, and he wanted to try and stay away from them for as long as possible. Plus, he doubted the brats would like them either. They seemed into higher level stuff than the usual genin could handle, but so far their chakra limits had surprised him, and he got a view of some of their techniques.

"Nice move, trying to keep me out of the village. You don't know me, though.
You didn't know that I took down the barrier easily, and could give you your chakra back if I wanted to." Shiruba crossed his arms and surveyed the room, looking at each and every person in it. There seemed something odd about this gathering, but he couldn't quite put his finger on it. The chakra in the room was also strangely high, and he could feel the power in it as his skin breathed it in.

The noise of the siren just reached me as I passed my fourtyth lap, which made me stop. "all ninja are to report to the hokage immediatly!" it declared. I sighed and rubbed my forhead, not wanting to disobey the hokage, I headed twords the hokage's building, hoping my team mates and....teacher, would hear this. I arrived through the window and skidded to a stop, starting to pant, a bead of sweat rolling down my face. Maybe wearing black while training wasn't such a good idea....

Miharu and Shuichi both turned to face the road that lead to the center of the village. But before they could take one more step away from the school building, a voice yelled out from their right side. They both turned their heads, Miharu reacting quicker than Shuichi. A black shadow swiftly jumped from the nearby bushes, to just in front of them. His swift movements blew the wind. Miharu's ponytail flew to her left, and Shuichi's droopy hair covered his face. He calmly pushed his hair back and returned his hands into his pockets. He eyed the figure in front of them with interest. There stood a tall-ish figure, about in his 20's. He had jet black hair which was short and spiked all over the place and his eyes were brown like the tree bark that surrounded them. He wore the usual getup of a Jounin; the traditional green vest with a black long-sleeved shirt, black trousers and black sandals. His headband covered his forehead, and prevented the mass of hair from falling onto his eyes.

"Yo!" he said to the two confused Genin. He quickly took a look at Shuichi. "You must be… Riyo Shuichi?" Shuichi nodded slightly. "Meaning you're…" he turned to look at Miharu. "…Raika Miharu." Miharu smiled. "I'm Yukiru Kaito, and I'll be your new sensei. Nice to meet you all." Yukiru-sensei said with a smile in his face.

The newly formed team walked down one of the main roads of the village. Shuichi had his head down, and hands in his pockets, as always. Miharu and Yukiru-sensei chatted with each other. His arms were folded behind his head, in a most care-free way.

"So…" Yukiru-sensei said questioningly. "You're from the Raika clan?"
"Uh-huh! Don't expect anything in battle, though…"
"Heh. I bet you're not that bad. How about that other guy… Riyo."
"Shu-san is… Strange. But Koba-sen did say that we were near the top of our class, so…"
"Oh, I see. Well, that's interesting."

"Finally! A chance to get out of this stupid excersise!" Taiki grumbled.

For the past five minutes he had been running like a man posessed from his sensei. The idiot acted like some kind of demented sports coach with an obsession about vegetables and green jumpsuits. Surprisingly, he no longer wished to break the neck of the skeleton-child. Rather, he had a burning desire to fire his chain gun through the idiot's gut and watch it explode. He had completed twenty laps around the village fairly easily, but they had all been directly in front of Might Guy, who was most likely the most talented endurance athlete Taiki had seen in his young life. There were no wasted movements when he ran, and every step seemed to push him forward another ten feet, forcing Taiki to redouble his pace. Much faster and he was fairly sure there would have been a sonic boom. "Eh, Guy-sensei, I think that alarm is for us," he said, pausing in mid-leap.

"Hmm... you are correct. To the Hokage's office with us! And here- put this on!" Guy yelled, flinging the jumpsuit in Taiki's face and leaping off like some kind of bipedal leopard.

Taiki looked at the jumpsuit in his hands. Surprisingly, it looked like it would be much easier to train in then his ordinary clothing. His decision took only a split second.

Moments later Taiki reemerged from the nearest bathroom, his old outfit replaced by the green jumpsuit. He pulled his vest on over it- the jumpsuit's one downside was its inability to store weaponry or valuables. And it wouldn't do to stop wearing his Akahana family crest, would it now? Stifling a grin, he took off towards the Hokage's office.

Who had said that nothing good could come of associating with Egomaniacs?
