    Though it had been attempted in the past, the Pokemon League had never accepted a gym comprised primarily of Dark Pokemon. The leaders argued that the temperament of the type is simply too unstable, that they are untameable, that allowing Dark types to accumulate in such high numbers within a single building could potentially be fatal. While some aspiring gym leaders took their rebuttal with a polite nod and declaration that they would be on their way Esthin Roschel would not be so easily denied. His assertive, aggressive tendencies proved to be beneficial, as when he was denied a Leaders' License a third time he took action. Working for days on end with little rest he set out to create a team of Dark Pokemon, and only Dark Pokemon, to prove that they could indeed be tamed and trained. Despite hardship and difficulty along the way Esthin managed to fill six Pokeballs with Dark type Pokemon, make them all obey his commands, and even more impressive, train them to follow orders with as much precision as a military unit. These six he took directly to the heads of the League and demonstrated his success. Impressed, they finally accepted, making Esthin Roschel the first Dark type gym leader.

    Construction began immediately. Esthin chose to base himself in the Hoenn region, taking over Tate and Liza's gym in Mossdeep City as they desired to retire from training and instead open a psychic surgery clinic. Their gym was bulldozed and construction began immediately on a new building, larger, darker in color to reflect the nature of the Pokemon that trained within. One year later the gym was complete. Esthin chose to use no trick floor or warp tiles. Instead, his policy was train hard, become stronger by the day, and it wouldn't matter if a trainer were to challenge him or not, for they would not win. Over time he earned followers, others to train in his gym under him. Quickly they grew into a powerful manifestation of dark energy. One would walk into the door and feel all hope and optimism drain from their body. As soon as they left they would recover quickly, shaken, but otherwise unharmed. Word of the unnerving occurrences eventually reached Lance, Champion of the Johto Elite Four. That was when the investigation began.

    Lance hired a man to go to Esthin's gym, now known as the Void Gym, to inquire about training under Esthin. He was accepted, and began gathering information. Lance noticed from his weekly reports that he seemed to grow colder at an alarmingly fast rate until he abandoned the project completely, fully consumed by the training of his Dark Pokemon. That was the final straw. Now regretting his agreement that the Void Gym ought to be given a license, he appealed to the other League leaders to have it repealed. He was shot down immediately as they quoted Article 4, Section 6 of the Rules and Regulations Regarding Gym Leadership: Once a gym is licensed, said license may not be taken without evidence of foul play or danger to the leader, trainers, or civilians.

    All seemed lost. Lance knew he could not simply burst into the Void Gym and demand proof that it was dangerous and should be destroyed. He would need to be far more clever. That was when he came up with the idea to contact a number of young men and women who had not begun training, the offspring of successful trainers and gym leaders, and tell them that he would sponsor their progression, as long as they would begin immediately and in the Hoenn region. When he got four replies he would tell Professor Birch to keep four special starters for them, and to give them to those who could produce proof that they were Lance's sponsored few. But they would have to hurry. There were dark clouds reported to have formed over Mossdeep City that would not disperse. The crime and suicide rate had risen, and people were beginning to disappear. Whatever was happening there was reaching critical mass, and something had to be done to stop it. There was even tell that Esthin had done the same as Lance and sent five of his own gym trainees, previously unallowed to have their own Pokemon, to seek out and derail Lance's trainers. At any cost, Esthin warned them, they had to keep them from getting any proof at all that his gym was dangerous to himself or anyone else.

    To summarize: Either you're one of Lance's new trainers, or Esthin's trainees. Lance's trainers, try to get to the gym. Esthin's trainees, try to stop them. Lance's trainers have the benefit of choosing from a greater variety of starters, while Esthin's may only start with a Dark type. What they have after that is up to them.

    I know there are more starters than there are spaces available. That's so you can take your pick.

    Age: 18

    Gender: Male

    Appearance: He is 6'7" and nearly 220 pounds of muscle. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is dark skinned and with a scar across his right eye, a scar on his chest, and a bullet hole in his right knee. He has a black goatee. He wears a black bandana on his head and a blue bandana around his neck, he is always shirtless because of the nice weather, he has black baggy jeans with blue shorts under them, he also has another black bandana in the back pocket of his jeans, he also wears white shoes with black and white laces. He got two covered up tears next to his right eye, an open tear next to his left eye, and he also got a tattoo of a Christian cross on his chest. He has his left eyebrow pierced, both of his ears, his right nostril, and his right bottom lip pierced.

    Personality: He is very unique at random times. Sometimes when he's alone, he get very adamant about himself that he has nothing to do. When he gets adamant about himself, he gets bashful to people around him, or things around him. He is very brave, he'll do anything for money though, nothing fears him, which is kind of scary to some people. He got steady hands and he's also careful on what he uses or words to use, but he's more of a rebel that says anything he wants, whenever he wants. When he sees soft things, like hair or anything, he'll feel it and rub it until they get mad at him. He's very gentle about somethings he feels. When he's around people, he's very jolly about himself and to the others around him. He's also a deep thinker so when he thinks about the past, he becomes lonely, sad, and feared because of what might happen to him later on in the future. When he's around girls, he's very different, he gets quiet and naught, if you know what I mean. He'll talk to them and sometimes they'll get interested into him, but most girls turn him down which is sad to say. When it comes down to work and no play, he's always serious and always on the move, so you might not hear about him a lot. The things he loves to do is think about the future and make poems about Pokemon, nature, and random things that come up to his head and his least favorite thing is listen to annoying little children complaining about their problems. The things that make him happy is being with the love of his life, which he hasn't found yet, sad to say and the things that make him sad are.. nothing.

    History: When he was five years old, he started Pokemon school and ended up being in the higher classes because he was smarter than the rest of the class. When he was seven years old, he started making poems and they became famous around his school. When he was nine years old, he dropped out of school and became a Pokemon learner, went out to the people around him and asked questions about Pokemon moves, things in the nature. When he was eleven years old, he decided that he learned a lot about Pokemon so he went to school again and surprisingly started again with 7th grade. Age thirteen arrived and he fell in love with the girl of his dreams, but she ended up dying in a car crash which is sad. He had a hard time believing it until age fifteen. Age sixteen arrived and he started noticing that since school was almost over, he wanted to become a Pokemon trainer so he waited until that day. The reason why he wanted to become a Pokemon trainer was because he didn't have anything else to do on his free time except for make poems.

    Name: Arianna "Aria" Riverton

    Age: Nineteen (almost Twenty)

    Gender: Female

    Appearance: During the cold winter moths she has her normal deep, dark red hair. It flows down to her shoulders and lays flat against her head. But on other occasions such and the warm sunny season of Summer the color takes a sharp turn towards the brighter side. It is more of a fire red color for the heat of the sun turns it that way. She isn't an average Red Head with the freckles and likeable personality. She has pale white skin with not a single freckle insight. Her emerald green eyes stand out against her skin, and with the touch of dark makeup she gives herself that eerie look. Begging her everyone to stay away from her, that isn't hard.

    She has bony features and her arms look like they can pick a lock. She seems to look like a stick with both legs and arms walking around among the humans. You can constantly find her wearing a black tank top that stops at her waist showing her stomach. For the bottom she wears light blue jeans that are a tad too big for her figure. She wears raggedy black boots with four inch heels attached. She carries around her bright orange bag that holds any personal belongings or her Pokéballs.

    The only accessories she wears are a rope tied necklace with a blue orb hanging from it. It has a strange blue spiral on it, some kind of a symbol really. No bracelets, no earrings, just that simple. When it goes and gets cold she puts on a leather jacket and black gloves. She ever wears a scarf for she believes that if it gets caught on something, such as a branch, she would never get away fast enough.

    On the back of her left thigh she has a dark birthmark, not shaped s anything in particular. It shows when she wears her jean shorts during the summer, and it bugs the crap out of her. Nothing about her appearance she likes. Sounds like a normal teenager really. She stands 5'1" and she is the shortest one out of her family. She is the mere weight of 98 lbs. and considering her small size, is just a little below normal.

    Personality: She is very outspoken and can never keep her mouth shut. When she has an opinion about something she will speak up by al means. She is not one to hide in the corner and be lost among the crowd, she stands out. The reason she is this way is because she was brought up in a loud obnoxious household where if you don't say a word you don't get a thing. You had to fight to get you say, and that is exactly what she still does today. She fights. Whether it is in Battle or in Speech, you can expect nothing less from her. Though she is someone who stands out among us she hates people. She promises herself she would never become close to another human being again.

    She begs and hopes with all her might that when she speaks her opinion the others follow, that way she doesn't have to make a conversation with anyone. She is a leader and not a follower, a lone Wolf who will never join a pack. Plus on top of that all she is a Night Hoohoot (owl). The mornings are her worst enemy.

    The only thing that has ever and will ever to this day make her happy is the joy of being with her Pokémon. Her life if now theirs, they are her life. She could never live without them.

    History: She grew up in a very large family, which was also very poor. They only had a decent meal on Sundays. She lived with eight sisters and three brothers which would make twelve including her. When dinner or lunch, or ever breakfast came around you had to move fast in order to get a piece of food. She has never been used to eating a lot, that is why her figure is so small and her weight is so little.

    She ran away from her home around the age of eleven to live on her own. However she underestimated her parents. They noticed se was gone, they noticed her face was not among their eleven other children. So they set out a search part for her. The police found the young girl when she was twelve and escorted her back to her home. Where she was from them on out neglected but always watched.

    She found a chance once more at the age fourteen and finally escaped the wrath of her large family and that is how she stayed. She is always running, running from anything. She is used to being alone and vows to never find anyone she would fall for, she is afraid. Afraid they might break her heart Afraid that she might once again feel neglected and lost. She has her Pokémon to keep her company. And they would never leave her… Or so she hopes.

    EDIT- On her wondering days alone she found that not everything was as perfect as it seems. She was interrogated, talked too, and all above else, pushed aside by others. She wouldn't stand for it anymore. When she was around the age of eighteen she heard insider news about Esthin as his 'project'. She was brought into the the Gym where there was everything she could've hoped for. No one started a small chit chat with her, no one questioned who she was, and she was never pushed aside. At least no one beside Esthin himself. She knew the force of Darkness lied inside her as well. So only wished to explore with the the help of Esthin and the marvelous Dark Pokemon.

    RP Sample: ( this is an intro done from a board off the top of my head of a different character of mine, I saved it and revised it a little, but sadly this is all I have )

    "Help" Cried a voice that was casted out into the open air.

    Down in the vast blue ocean a single head disappeared under the raging waves and resurfaced once again. The body attached was swung around viciously, never staying put in one spot. It was a young girl. Her soaked dirty blonde hair covered her face, daring to block her vision. She stretched her arms out in wide strokes in a failed attempt to swim against the vigorous current. Her mind went over and over about the fact that this could be the end. It would all just end in this fatal accident. Her heart however held other plans for her life. As weak as she was she managed to force herself to stay still even for the slightest second. In the moments before another wave crashed overhead she clutched onto a single red and white ball and held it firmly in her water wrinkled fingers. Not daring to let it go.

    As she resurfaced she held the ball out of the water and hit the small button. It suddenly grew larger and she tossed it out above her, casting it as far as she could. She prayed to herself that she chose the right one. Out of the six she had with her it was hard to tell the difference between them in the water. With a flash of light the ball opened and out came a Pokémon. It's long blew tail disappeared into the water as it fell from the sky. Okay not the right one but close enough. A second head appeared out of the water this time it was of her Pokémon. Before another wave came she called out its name.

    "Mist" She screeched, trying to catch the Pokémon's attention.

    The head turned to face her, and she examined the blue skinned creature for a minute before realizing it was her Vaporeon. The girl threw her arms around Mist's neck and held on tightly. She could feel the Vaporeon's legs working hard to stay afloat. How long could they stay like this? After coughing up some salt water she turned to Mist "We need to find land" She said in a weak exhausted voice. The Vaporeon glanced around in hopes of finding some sort of dry land. It felt like ages before Mist started to swim forward as fast as she could. Swimming with her small blue legs, and working harder than ever before.
    The young girl checked to make sure her dark, soaked, green bag was still around her arm. There it was, a long green strap held firmly around her shoulder. She examined the bag and saw the familiar brightly colored letters that spelled out her name. They were annoying in every way possible. She once tried to pick them off with her long fingernails but the glue was too strong. None of the letters seem to have come off in the raging waters water and it still spelled out clearly the name

    C L A I R E

    She couldn't help but give a small grin. After all of this her name was still there. It was strong enough to hold, she knew she had to be strong as well. Suddenly breaking her from her thoughts she noticed her feet hit something. It wasn't just anything it was sand, soft smooth sand. They had made it safely to beautiful dry land.

    Claire instantly let go of her Vaporeon. She dug her shoes into the underwater sand so she wouldn't float back out. With a cry of happiness she started to walk inland. As she came closer the water level decreased. The heavy weight of her soaked clothes was almost unbearable as she came out of the water. She quickly untied the white jacket around her waist and threw it on the dry sand. Then she did the same with her scarf and two gloves. All that was left was her short soft pink and white dress and the long light green pants underneath. Of course the dark green bag on her shoulder as well.
    In that instant she remembered something. She swiftly withdrew the strap from her shoulder and opened up the bag. She stuck her hand into the bag and started to count "One, two, three, four, five, and six" She said with a deep sigh of relief. Those Pokéballs were all that mattered too her. Losing them would be light a heartache that would never to end. She turned to glance around and spotted her Vaporeon looking at her with dark blue eyes.
    "It's okay, were safe now" She whispered to Mist.

    She grabbed the empty Pokéball from her bag and pressed the button once more. And with a flash of light the Vaporeon disappeared. Claire moved her hand over the Pokéball, smiling as she did so. They were her life, her only life. Her hands clutched the bag and returned the Pokéball inside before throwing the strap over her shoulder.

    "Now, to find out where I am" She said turning to face the new adventure ahead.

    Name: Alex Riverrock
    Age: 20
    Gender: Male
    Appearance:
    Wears a black or grey beanie hat a lot of the time, underneath would be thick but short black hair. He is slightly tanned and has brown eyes, normal proportionate face. He has a small soul patch under his bottom lip which is always neat and trim.

    He would often be seen wearing a white long sleeve t-shirt with a black zip-top hoodie with a Flame emblem on the hood and breast of the jacket. The zipper would also be a round, flat metallic ''smiley face'' emblem.

    Usually he would wear a black or khaki green nylon belt , and has the outline of a fire ball engraved on the buckle, which would be a similar style to a skater style belt. Usually wears jeans when out and about, most often blue denim or else black or grey combat trousers. His shoes would be generic skate style shoes - he isn't a skater himself just enjoys the comfort of the clothing. Around one wrist he would have a bandanna tied off and a digital watch on the other.

    Alex wears no jewlery except for a necklace around his neck which has a precious gem inside a small rock, looks quite rare and would be recognized as a Moon Stone Fragment by anyone who would be qualified to recognize it (given to him by his mother before she died as a gift from his father who died before he was born).



    Personality:

    A very observant guy, Alex will take time to observe a situation he is presented with before acting. Although he can often be caught by his emotions when his family would come into things causing him to act impulsively. He can be quite analytical and can size up a person, often quite accurately, within seconds of encountering them, although he has been wrong, he still will act on his gut feelings, allowing his subconscious to do the decision making while his conscious mind assess the situation.

    He has a dry sense of humor and can be seen as quite cynical for a young man. He will be found laughing to himself sometimes in random periods, or even laughing in the face of a danger...quite literally, he finds the funny side to life. On a deeper level I guess he feels free, and if asked why, he would probably retort with

    ''Because you are only really free in life, when you have nothing left to loose",

    which would be a reference to loosing his parents.

    He is an emotional wall when it comes to relationships and keeps his friend-base small. Loosing loved ones is not something he wants to do to regularly - and bonding with others on more than a superficial level is an important but difficult factor for Alex.

    He uses his intelligence as a defense when ever its needed and while he is quite bright and logical in thought, when it comes to academics he shows no apparent interest in the ''basic baby crap'' and would be more interested to learn and read about advanced materials, regardless if he fully understands it.


    History:
    Born to a local shop owner and his wife in Olivine City, Alex's father had passed away before he was born due to illness. His mother raised him alone and they built a strong bond together. They were Mother and Son and Bestfriends! Growing up in Olivine was enjoyable for Alex as he got to see all the trainers passing through to battle for their badges. He was facinated with Pokémon from a young age. Their ability to do what they do always intrigued him. He read book after book about the Biology and Study of Pokémon Science.

    His mother ran the local Pokémart, taking over after the death of her husband. This gave Alex even more exposure to Pokémon as Trainers often passed through to pick up supplied. From a young age he had a wide range of knowledge on Pokémon species and abilites and could spout of various bits of trivia about a multitude of Pokémon.

    When Alex turned 10, the year he should have started training to become a Pokémon Master, his mother fell ill. He spent less days in school and more time covering shifts in the Mart along with the help of some of the Locals who in turn helped keep the Mart running. As he got older he spent more time in the shop and less time studying in school. His dream had started to die silently in the recesses of his mind. His mother was all he had left and he wanted to take care of her.

    For the next four years, he woke up, went to work for the morning, and then did class in the afternoon before returning to the shop to work for the evening. He would then return home to care for his mother and rest.

    Then several days before his 16th birthday, his mother's illness had declined rapidly and she had passed away due to unknown causes. Doctors couldn't determine what had caused her to fall ill - nor what had caused the rapid decline. This affected him so badly he gave up school
    all together, shutting out the idea of becoming a Pokémon Researcher and letting his dream die along with his mother.

    The years dragged on and while he recovered from his loss, he became over come with a sense of duty toward his family. Close to his 19th Birthday, a close family friend urged him to sell the shop and to start living his life. That he should be out there doing what he loved and not let his life become overwhelmed with work and responsibility.

    After months of thinking about it, he settled on starting his journey to become the worlds greatest researcher and to live upto his Father's Legacy for decoding the Pokémon's base genome. But to do that he had to understand Pokémon on more than just a scientific level. He was given the gift of his first Pokémon, Scyther, by the Town's Gym Leader as a token of the start of his journy and as a sign of gratitude for doing so much to keep the local mart running and providing trainers and the gyms with supplies over the years to keep things moving.

    The cab pulled up to the arrivals exit of JFK International. Alex had just gotten off his flight and could feel the butterflies rumbling in the pit of his stomach every few minutes, he didn't show it - but he was secretly excited about this. On the flight over he spent a lot of time thinking about what his mother might say, or if his father would be proud of his decision.

    He felt unsure of both thoughts but rationalized that it was just his lack of confidence in his ability to succeed at something so unknown to him. Sure all the other contestants probably knew everything there is to know about Pokémon and here he was, barely able to tell a Pokéball from a Pokédex...

    He got into the cab and asked to be brought to the docks in Rhode Island, handing the Cabbie a credit note from Nintendo in lieu of his fare.

    Watching the passing cars and sky high buildings, Alex nodded off to sleep...his dream was quite a peculiar one indeed;

    He was standing on a hill with the Ocean all around him, completley alone...then from behind him a great shadow rose and covered him and soon everything in sight....
    He grabbed a Pokéball from his pocket, and threw it at the ground, a flash of great red light burst out forming into a woman, one very familar to him...looking harder, his focus adjusted and it was his Mother.

    He only felt sadness and confusion, she started to run further and faster the more he tried to follow...He picked up the Pokéball and threw it.....

    "This is it kid, your stop", opening his eyes, in a daze he glanced around

    "Thanks" and he handed the Cabbie a $5 bill..

    Stepping out of the car, his mind was caught between the large Yatch infront of him, and the confusion of his dream...what was it about, he hadn't dreamt of his mother in over 5 years - and why was she inside a Pokéball.....he did miss his mother though,
    every day...she was his best friend, something he never had many of.

    "ALL ABOARD WHOS GOIN' ABOARD!!"

    Gah!! He ran pulling his suitcase over his shoulder, his satchel bouncing off his knee, he ran up the gang way waving his pass in the Boardman's face, afraid he would miss the boat.

    He had decided to settle down for a bit of rest, he was quite jet lagged and he figured he'd need a good rest before arriving at the Island.

    He woke up several hours later - leaving his room he peaked down each way of the corridor before leaving his room.

    He was starving now as he forgot to eat before he left. Walking down the steps onto the Starboard deck, he found his way to the Stern of the Yatch where two girls around his age were chatting.

    He approached them, feeling a bit awkward, but smiling non-the-less;

    "Hey guys, em, you don't know were I could grab a bit of food do ye?" he asked, feeling a bit silly for sleeping so much and missing meal time.

    They didn't appear to notice him or maybe just the sound of the waves and the crash of the wake drowned out his embarrassing attempt at conversation...

    He stood there for a moment - maybe they would notice him and start talking but no response...He turned to be faced with double doors with a paper notice reading "Meal Room"...he felt a bit stupid now...

    He walked through and there were a few people sitting talking, having some hot drinks and sandwiches, others just reading.

    He approached the canteen and asked for a coffee and ham sandwhich which he to take a seat and he it would be brought over..

    He looked around trying to decide whether to sit alone or to try join one of the small groups talking, his reasoning they must have met here, they were all chosen at random...so it would be fine he figured.

    "Hi, I'm Alex, mind if I sit with you guys?"

    "Of course not, take a seat" spoke on of the guys.

    "I'm Andy, this is Tina, Gemma and Paul!" - they all said "Hey" in sync with eachother- laughing about it afterwards.

    "So where you from?" asked Gemma,

    "Ireland - what about you guys?" replied Alex...

    They chatted for the majority of the evening. Alex admitted he knew next to nothing about Pokémon and they all joined in giving him the run through what they were and all about the games. The were talking for atleast 3 hours before the Captin called over the intercom that the ship was about to Dock.

    After getting ashore they were brought to a large compound with a large amount of seats around five large tables with rows of what appeared to be Pokéballs all shining in the lights above them.

    Right now he was feeling the buzz of enthusiasm in the air.

    "Everyone take a seat, I'd like to start as soon as possible" he heard over the speakers... In the center of the room there was an Asian man in a lab coat.

    He took a seat and soon after everyone had gotten a seat.
    Looking around he saw a lot of faces old and young, some looking impatient, others half a sleep, some grinning and smiling and plenty of girls squeeling and eeking to their new "best friends" about the whole thing.

    He also took note of who was his main competition, pegging atleast 8 others there who had what seemed to be the right determination and motivation to actually get to the top. This was one area his skills came in handy, reading people...assessing potential, motivation, drive to win, personality traits....people skills he calls them.

    "Hello, and welcome to Pokémon Island, I am Dr.Fung,..." began then man in center of the room.

    He spoke for a good solid two hours, telling them all of their mission and goal, the paths they could take and what is takes to become a Pokémon Trainer and what only one of them possessed - what it took to become a Pokémon Master.

    Afterwards, everyone had chosen their Pokémon, Alex chose a Bulbasaur, a grass type Pokémon. He thought it looked weird and odd...which he loved. Different was unique to him. He saw several other Pokémon - one breed had a small glowing flame on the tip of its tail, it was an orange lizard like creature.

    Another was turtle like, but it was blue and walked on its hind legs. It also had a large fluffy tail which seemed odd for a turtle but considering what Pokémon could do - it was the least of the weirdness...

    He then looked at his own Pokémon, Bulbasaur...he felt a bit odd with this creature at his side, he sat down putting his hand out to give it a rub on the head. It reminded him of a small green dog. He had a large flower bulb on its back which seemed quite odd but again the least of it....

    "Bulba....saaaaurrr" it growled while he gave it a rub on his head...Alex chuckled...this was really weird ...

    "Ah you seem to be getting on well with your Pokémon...have you chosen a name for him?" Alex looked up and saw an elderly man, the man in the lab coat who spoke earlier...mr...mr....ah Mr.Fung,,,

    "Thank you Mr.Fung for giving me Bulbasaur" alex said, his throat going dry with awkardness....

    "Ah don't worry about it, this little guy will become your best friend, in no time!"
    "Are you looking forward to training him?" he asked with a light smile,

    "Eh yeah of course, I'm really excited" he said hiding his uncertainty to exactly what he was supposed to do...he figured he could find out later on....

    "Most excellent, I think I have something belong to you" and he handed him a small red palm computer-like device..."It is your Pokédex, you left it at the pulpit when you were choosing your Pokémon"

    "Ahhhh I had completley forgotten!" reaching out to take it - "Be more careful Alex, you will need to be more responsible if you are to become a Pokémon Master" he spoke with a hint of a smile....

    "Well I must go now Alex, I have plenty of other trainers to speak to " and with an up and down of his hand, a brief wave of his hand and he was off...

    "So...what now buddy?" he looked down at Bulbasaur, who just looked back with what Alex could only make out as a smile!

    Name: Elizabeth 'Lizzie' Jordan

    Age: Seventeen

    Gender: Female

    Appearance: Lizzie considers herself of average height and build, despite never really working out. Her skin is lightly toned, showing indistinguishable freckles that appear here and there on her face with green coloured eyes. Lizzie's hair is a lighter shade of brown, slightly wavy and quite untamable, which reaches just below her shoulders. She wears her hair either in a messy bun with a side fringe that covers most of her forehead or in a side ponytail, pulled back off her face.

    She frequently wears singlet tops in her favourite colour, a dark sea blue, combined with pale blue denim shorts cut off above the knee and white lace-up tennis shoes when the weather is fine. On other occasions she wears t-shirts with various slogans printed on the front and her favourite black and blue pleated skirt. Though she doesn't wear them often, Lizzie loves denim overalls. The bag she carries everywhere with her is dark brown leather in colour, with a very worn and torn look. It isn't big enough to fit many belongings in, which is why Lizzie does spend a lot of time in Pokemon Centres waiting for bad weather to pace and such. Her bag is styled like a small messenger bag.

    Personality: Lizzie has a shy personality, prefering to stay indoors rather than roam around outside. Despite this trait, she does have the heart of an adventurer once she actually gets going. She's more inclined to do something if someone else does it with her. She lacks confidence in some areas of her life.

    Lizzie does react well to situations filled with violence and/or conflict, remaining calm and willingly able to assist anyone.
    Although others may not see it, Lizzie admires the brave, outgoing and friendly, wishing to change her personality but not realizing she can be all of those things if she really wants to be.

    Lizzie loves books and reading. While she travels anywhere, be it with her family or on her own journey, she keeps a detailed record of flora, fauna, the native culture etc. She loves to write and because her mother has dragged her to every holiday destination possible, it seemed the only logical thing to her - record her findings. She hoped that one day, they may prove useful to her. She writes in small, leather bounded books that coincidentally match her bag.

    Lizzie really detests loud and obnoxious people, the complete opposite of her own personality.

    History: Lizzie's childhood held nothing out of the ordinary. She went to school, did her chores and dreamt and wished that her life was something else. In the big city of Lilycove, Lizzie was the girl to blend in, the one no one ever knew was there. This didn't really affect her though, she was ultimately happy to be left to her own devices.

    Pokemon use to scare Lizzie as a child even though her father, a 'retired' promising trainer in his hay-day, had Pokemon with him. Lizzie's father would try very hard to get her to like playing with his patient Electabuzz but as a small child, Lizzie never took to them. It was only recently, when many of her peers left on journeys of their own did she stop and think, if my own father did it, why can't I?

    An event Lizzie doesn't remember too well was her father leaving their family. Even as a young child, Lizzie knew her parents weren't part of the happy family she has known little of. It was something that, previous questions had answered, Lizzie was unable to control. Lizzie's only seen her father a couple of times since that year.

    Her teenage years held part time jobs at the art gallery, study and more dreaming and wishing that she coud leave on a journey. When the time finally arrived, and from a person she'd heard little about, she hesitantly accepted the challenge, urged on my her mother who insisted this 'Lance' figure had probably known her father. Her mother really hoped a journey like this would help Lizzie grow and learn as a person.

    Age: 19
    Gender: Nobody knows. Jk, he's a guy
    Appearance: Alex is a rather average boy. He stands at 5'11", about 150 lbs., has an average build, you know, just any basic late teenager. In the past few years, he has been getting quite muscular, though, due to his job. As a result of spending the long days in the Safari Zone, he also has gotten rather tan.

    Alex has dark brown hair that he cuts twice a year. But when he does cut it, he gets the whole thing off. He waits until the autumn to get one haircut, gets it buzzed off, and lets it grow until mid spring. He has bright blue eyes that he swears change color based on his mood; one turns darker, and the other turns greenish if he's upset or mad about something.

    Alex cares alot about comfortability, and wears shorts all the time, even in the middle of winter. He wears a short sleeved, blue t-shirt in the summer until it gets too cold, and then puts on one of his many blue sweatshirts. He wears sturdy tennis shoes, gloves, and a golden necklace with a sapphire rain drop.

    Personality: Alex believes the best experience is field experience. That is why the job at the local Safari Zone caught his eye so much. A lot of times, he gets too close to the wild Pokemon, and makes them mad. But, he is a very quick thinker, and always manages to escape unharmed. He loves Pokemon, and he hates anybody who doesn't. His favorite type is Water, and he commonly visits the ocean next to the city so that he can be with them. He especially likes Staryu.

    Most of the girls find him hot, and he is a very flirty guy. In the summer, he enjoys going to the beach to just look at all the girls in their bikinis. Being the social kind of guy he is, he always talks to the pretty ones, and mostly gets rewarded with someone attractive to tag along with for the day. Even though they come and go, Alex doesn't. He stays right at home, and eagerly awaits the next opportunity he'll get.

    History: Born to a poor family, Alex was taught to love what he has for what it is. He was always modest, polite, and friendly. As a young boy, he would visit the Safari Zone near Lilycove City and just look at the Pokemon from the observation deck. He fell in love with Pokemon at an early age, but because his family was poor, they couldn't afford to send him on a journey.

    One day, while treasure hunting on the beach, Alex came upon the beautiful gold necklace. He gave it to the authorities to return to whoever lost it, but 30 days later when nobody claimed it, they gave it back, saying it was his. Everyone in his family expected him to sell it for money, but he didn't. He was happy, and he put it around his neck, his most prized possession, and from that moment on, it never left his sight.

    Alex knew that one day he would go on an adventure, and he wanted to be studied up when that time came. So, he asked for a job at the Safari Zone, and received one at the age of 15; the youngest child to ever have worked there. But he was a natural explorer, and had the entire area memorized in a week flat. He usually can be found in the Zone sitting in a tree or by a lake.

    Although he spends virtually all of his time in the Safari Zone or on the Beach, occasionally he is indoors, studying about Pokemon. He took his wages that he earned from working in the Zone, and as preparation for his one day adventure, bought the TMs that taught Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Psychic, and Shadow Ball. He was planning on teaching some of them to a Staryu- when he got one that is- but in the meantime, he held onto them, stored them in his room for safe keeping, without telling anyone about them.

    Alex was leaving the Safari Zone one day when a mysterious man approached him. He claimed his name was Lance, and he was looking for new trainers to help him take down an evil organization who showed cruelty towards people and Pokemon alike. Alex immediately accepted the challenge, and began the trek to New Bark Town to meet with Professor Birch and get his first Pokemon.

    Pokemon: If possible, I would like a Staryu from the Reserve Section. If not, I'll take a Elekid and trek back to catch a Staryu by myself.

    Personality: Likes the colour blue, Is a fun-loving easygoing kind of guy. Unfortunatly he is extremely stubborn when it comes to those in need and sometimes that can cost him dearly,he is very knowlegdeable and knows much in the ways of science and pokemon physioligy.
    Background: He Began His Journey when he was ten, He was a gifted student and a technological wiz, He spent years working alongside Proffesor duccard at his lab back in the rural moutian town that he lived in.
    Learning all about the pokemon and the technology to heal them. He traveled to many places studying pokemon and the technology that was used like pokeballs, healing machines, even the PPS (pokemon storage system), he has spent years trying to condense the technology of the Pokemon Healing machines you find in the pokemon centres down into microscopic form and is now trying to adapt it to the modern day pokeballs. He is currently working on a prototype pokeball system (which should heal a small portion of health when pokemon recalled to the pokeball), not perfected yet, but then he was offered a sponsorship by lance......

    It was a night like any other cold,dark, the winds as unforgiving as those who hunt him, Kez had lost his pursueors umong the various cliffs around the Katsu region.After finally having a chance to rest he quickly obtained some wood from the nearby trees. " Rocky" Kez said Launching his pokeball into the air And releasing his tyranitar. "see if you can find us Shelter" the bold pokemon responded at once thrashing into the side of the cliff slowly chunking away the lower rock to create a small cave.

    "Good Work Rocky!" Kez exclaimed examining the cave "but were not done yet" He moved his things and the chunks of wood into the cave "Rocky use rockslide" The pokemon did as obliged sealing them behind a wall of rock . Then Rocky punched some of the rocks loose, just enough to let the air in and keep the wall up. " well done rocky you deserve to rest" Kez said returning the Gargantuan to its pokeball.

    "Come on Out Flare!" Kez cried as he threw a second pokeball into the air and out came his most elegant Pokemon. Flare is a quilave with a most unusual flame which happens to Burn Blue. Flare stood elegantly eagerly awating its masters command. "Use dig to create a small hole and when i say use flamethrower" with amazing speed Flare had dug a hole 30cm in diamiter and awited kez's signal. Throwing the wood into the hole Kez gave the signal and the most beautiful blue Stream of fire erupted from Flare's mouth. Together they had done it, they had a place to stay, they were warm and no-one would find them with this thought in his mind Kez went to sleep.

    Kez awoke to the crys of pokemon who were in anguish , in pain.... Utilizing Rocky's strength the broke out of their make shift shelter to see a family of Lucarios' and ariolu trying to escape a Pokemon extermination squad. He had to act fast Releasing both Rocky and Flare He Called to them both " Rocky protect the lucarios', Flare get the riolu" as he ran fist-first into one of the Squad. Flare moved fast and picked up the young one in its mouth running as fast as it could to get safe, Rocky made his way to the lucarios' as fast as he could...However Kez Had been surrounded by three of the soldiers.

    They had began to strike Kez trying to find his pokeballs to stop Rocky and Flare, Kez didnt say anything, everytime they hit him he hit them back, but it was three on one.. Then Kez looked up and He saw rocky.." No.. No "he thought "Rocky dont do this" ...

    "Rocky save them, Save the pokemon!" Kez called out in vain as he could see rocky charging to free his master and oldest friend. Rocky threw one of the soldiers by his head into the side of the cliff, upon seeing this the other soldiers attacking kez fled they knew they were no match for rocky. Though Kez had been freed the lucarios paid the ultimate price, 2 soldiers had remained to exterminate the "menace" as they called them....
    Seeing this Kez snapped "Rocky Hit them with Hyperbeam NOW!!", Rocky found his mark The Soldiers were gone blasted miles away but it was too late for the lucarios' the only survivor was safely returning in Flare's care. Kez was wrought with pain, He had failed to protect the lucarios, he attacked another human being out of anger, using his pokemon to do it. "Rocky and Flare arent tools for war" he thought "But if we dont fight they could be next."

    Confused and Sheding tears for the fallen lucario, he fell to his knees. Kez was at a loss he had no idea which way to turn, Flare had just returned and placed the young Riolu at Kez's feet.."why am i crying? this dear pokemon has lost everything yet it sheds no tears, maybe it doesnt understand what has happened, maybe it does or maybe it has realised that there are bigger things going on here?" Snapping out of His confusion Kez faced the little Riolu " To honor your family i shall call you Luca" he offered out one of his spare pokeballs to the Riolu... "I'll keep you safe.. I Promise" The Riolu walked up and tapped the ball whether it was curiousioty that he joined kez or whether He just wanted to come along, Luca would now be safe wih Kez

    Steffyace: Your SU is good, but when did she join Esthin's gym, and why? And she does not start out with Eevee, it is given to her by Esthin at the start of the RP. Due to the otherwise high quality of your SU, you are pending. Make the necessary changes and you're in.

    Breezy.: This is a lovely SU. It includes everything necessary, and does so beautifully. You are accepted without hesitation.

    Cdub399: Your character shows promise, but your SU is far shorter than I'm looking for. Give me more detail on a lot of things, and if you like use Breezy.'s SU as a model. And you do not choose your starter's moveset, it begins with the moves specified in the plot. Due to the overall shortness of your SU, I'm going to have to say declined. However, this doesn't mean you can't reapply.

    myrrhman: Your character is something of a cliché. You can't generalize that most girls find him hot. Everyone is attractive to someone. However, your SU is otherwise of good quality, so you're accepted with Elekid, since the Wildcards are reserved. Just be careful that you don't make Alex something of a superman. And try to keep your post length more like This is War, and less like The Seven Wonders. I know you generally post in accordance with what you're given, but I promise there will be plenty to go off of.

    Kez_2007: I'm afraid I can't allow a healing Pokeball this early on. That would be unfair, and it gives your character an unrealistic edge. Perhaps some time after starting, he can develop it. Though a Cyndaquil would be perfectly fair, I am not allowing shinines. They're supposed to be rare, but they're everywhere. You could perhaps catch one later on, but not have one as your starter. You're pending.

    Gender: Male
    Appearance: Sephy has short blonde hair and pale skin, his eyes change colors, they seem blue far away, but up close it can be seen that they are green, but at times people have claimed to see them as yellow, or even red. He is about 6"4 and generally wears a plain white shirt with a short, buttoned split going down from the collar about 5 inches with 3 buttons, he is so tall and thin that he can't find jeans that actually are long enough and tight enough, so he has a plain black belt with a pokeball buckle. (Strikit, if you accept me I would love to have you sprite him.)
    Personality: Sephy is generally kind and a very good listener, but he is also pretty lazy, but he is very willing to help with the problems of others if they are at least a little interesting or he can get something out of it. Sephy loves to eat despite his shape, especially cheese, he is talkative with those he knows but quiet when they're not around, he is also very shy around girls he doesen't know if they are anything other than ugly, he tends to worry too much about what others think.
    History: Sephy's Father is a trainer who once managed to win at the Pokemon League, which is a big part of why Sephy is interested in being a Pokemon Trainer, his mother fell in love with his father while she was watching him at the pokemon league, when they talked between battles, it quickly became obvious how much they had in common and how much they liked each other.

    Sephy wanted to become a Pokemon Trainer as soon as he started learning about them, which is why he was mad at his father for a long time when on his 10th birth day, when most trainers start out, he was told he couldn't start out yet, saying "It does not feel like the right time yet, trust me, I had no interest in pokemon at all until I was 17, and look how I turned out."

    Shear never had many friends, because he wasn't muscular and most of the kids near his age in the small little town he lived in were girls so...well if you payed attention earlier you can guess the problem there, luckily this made it easier for him to leave when his father got the call from Lance, who he had made friends with at the Pokemon League, and their battle afterwards.

    Now that he is in Hoenn, Sephy is extremely excited to get on his journey, especially after all the extra waiting, although he does not yet know the full reasons behind why he is there, he just knows that his father is going to lead him to Prof. Birch, where he'll be getting his first pokemon and taking his first step on the long journey ahead.

    Despite not even having started his journey as a trainer, Sephy is extremely talented at battling, mainly because he can almost always guess his opponent's move right before they make it, in his very first battle, which was against his father, he barely lost to his father's Nidoking with a Riolu, a borrowed Riolu, at the amazing outcome Koam couldn't resist calling his old friend Lance, which was probably a big part of why he was chosen even though he hasn't even caught a pokemon yet. Professor Birch gave Sephy a Scyther to start his journey with, but Koam had a better idea, the Riolu Sephy battled with that very first time, Sephy was so happy, but at the same time he felt bad for giving up Scyther

"So, ready to grow closer to and farther away from dear old dad at the same time buddy?" Koam (Ko-ahm), Sephy's father said to him as they stepped off of the SS. Aqua that had just arrived from Johto. "Of course I am, finally! my journey is beginning." Stepping off of the dock and onto the soft neat grass, they began walking in the direction Koam said Prof. Birch's lab would be.

    "Maybe now you'll finally meet a nice girl you can actually talk to, after all, your mother and I met because I was a Trainer." Sephy blushed a bit and tried to sound un-stressed. "Dad, don't worry, it may happen in time, don't rush things." "I'm not, do you know how hard it is to watch your son stay single 3 years longer than most boys and get wobbly legs whenever he actually talks to a pretty girl? Of course you don't, your 16." Sephy sighed and thought to himself. "This will be a long trip if dad doesen't get off this subject soon, oh well, I can finally start, Woohoo!" He pumped his arm gleefully into the air as he thought the last part.

    Age: 17

    Gender: Male

    Appearance: Being in a gym almost 24/7 doesn't help with picking up chicks.His hair is now a chocolaty brown from the lack of sunlight, while is skin is almost a ghostly pale. Looking at his face, he looks almost void of life, and the dark brown eyes don't help any. A "Normal" looking face, no freckles, moles, or scars.

    James was last seen wearing a black, hooded, cloak. When standing still, his cloak covers his knees, but when moving, or just after, his cloak stops at his waist. Under his cloak, he appears to be wearing a grey shirt with red horizontal stripes. When not standing still, he also seems to be wearing black cargo shorts. For some reason he looks like he once was a happier, and brighter boy in his youth, and that with age, he has not only grown more mature, but also darker in his outward appearance.

    Personality: James is one of those people who just don't seem to belong, but still blends in. Not with people, but with the shadows. The only recent time he has been spotted was at night, alone and hidden in his cloak.

    He has been through a lot, and even his appearance has been changed by it. Now he is almost completely emotionless. Precise when battling, swift whenever else. James works alone, and will complete a task for whomever, whatever the cost. Two of his only surviving traits from his traumatic past is his loyalty, and courage.

    History: It seems that James has lost most, if not all, of his memories, but it may be for the better.

    James wasn't always as he now appears. In his youth, he had light brown hair, deep brown eyes, and a pale white complexion. He had no cloak, and he wore tan cargo pants, instead of his now black cargo shorts. But the most dramatic difference was his face. He seemed so young and full of life, ready for anything thrown at him. All that life has since been drained from his face.

    He grew up in a small town, in between a mountain and a large city. He was given a Growlithe for his seventh birthday. He was absorbed by his new friend. At the age of twelve, he asked his parents if he could travel the world. After finding a older companion for him, they accepted. His companion's name was Alice.

    She was 15 when they set out, and was studying for a grant to help pay for college. Alice came from a large family of 5 kids, where she was the oldest. She was caring and looked after her siblings, but also knew that her parents didn't have a lot of money. When she decided to go to college, to study to become a professor in English, she knew she couldn't ask her parents for help. Alice was able to travel, studying how pokemon communicate, and take classes in the cities around the continent.

    Upon coming to James' town, she was taken on as his care taker. Together the traveled, and saw the continent. James still kept close contact with his parents (Who would let their kid run around the continent with only a 15 year old family friend?). While traveling, James mailed his sister every week, and called his parents twice a week. It's not easy basically living like a hobo, so James would sell wild berries he found, and his parents would send him some money too. By 13 he decided to take on the gym leaders.

    For the next year he fought his way trough them, one by one with his faithful Growlithe. He spent the next half of a year training in all the different biomes that were offered. Before her turned 15 he set off to fight the elite four. Upon getting to the end of victory road, relief had set in. Just the, however, James and Alice were caught in a freak earthquake. Right before the ceiling caved in, Growlithe pushed James and Alice out of the way. Growlithe was trapped in a separate room. James was then thrown to the ground, after his attempts to stay up. Helpless he watched as the ceiling caved in around Alice next. In seconds his whole life had been lost. James was the only survivor from that day. The next day reporters swarmed the cave in site, but James was no where to be found. Papers, and news shows told of the cave in for the next week, about how 3 people had gone in earlier that day, and were never found.

    James then spent the next two years in hiding. He has found the comforting arms of the void gym, and has only recently resurface with a new look, new attitude, and new life.
    Pokemon: Houndour

    RP Sample: The howling wind blew the door open again.

    "Isn't there a lock on this!" yelled an angered man, as he got up from his seat and slammed the door closed once more. The Inn looked older, and three men were sitting around a table, playing a new card game they had made up the night before. The bar was all but deserted, with one larger man sitting on a stool. The waitress was behind the bar, talking to the man. And in the corner, sat another man. But this one kept to him self, covering him self with his cloak, and appeared to be sleeping. His arms crossed over his chest, his head down, and his legs slightly stretched out in front of him. Again the door flew open. "GAAH! For crying out load!", the same man yelled, or more of screamed, as he got up again to close the door. This time, however, he slammed it shut, then for good measure he propped a chair against the door.

    The waitress at the bar sighed and shook her head. How could she get customers when they couldn't get in? "That should do it! Know where were we?" the man inquired devilishly smiling.

    "You were about to lose all your wedding money to me! And right before the wedding to!" One of the other men at the table said. "What would the Misses think?"

    "Ha, about what?" The third man at the table chuckled, "It was her idea to throw Romeo, here, a bachelor party!"

    "This isn't much of a party…" the first man pointed out, "Alright last game, I need to get home before my wife kills me!"

    The door flew open again, but not before tossing the chair half way across the room, right the first mans feet. A chuckle came from the corner. The hooded figure now obviously awake from the men's loud bickering. He now sat up strait, with his hands clasped together supporting his head.

    "What was that? You think this is funny?" The first man shouted, now very clearly mad. "I'll pummel you!"

    "Losing all your money make you sour tonight?" the hooded man laughed to himself.

    Throwing his chair back, the first man stood up. Quickly his friends grabbed both his arms, trying to hold him back, but failing at their attempts. "No man! Think what she'll think if you come home with scrapes and burses!"

    "I'll be careful not to get hit then." The first man replied to his friend, shrugging them both off. Both the larger man and the waitress were both looking now.

    "Come on man, just go home and get some sleep," the large man said.

    "No, this is a party! Time to actually have some fun!" the first man was now closing in on the hooded man.

    "Fine, lets play," the hooded figure calmly responded as pokeball hit the floor.

    "What's that suppose to be?" the first man chuckled only a few steps from arms reach of his foe. Just as suddenly as it appeared, the pokeball exploded into a Haunter. Still walking towards his prey, the man didn't hear it. His friends grew pale at the sight of the spectral pokemon in the room, but were unable to warn their friend. The man stopped walking. The large man at the bar stared, and the waitress shrieked. As her screams rang off the walls, the man hit the floor, dead, with three dark red slashes glowing across his back, the hooded figure stood.

    "Now, if everyone else would leave me alone, I shall be off," he said as he bent over to pick up the pokeball. The second man ran to his friend's side. The larger man stood up, and the waitress fainted. As the Haunter was being pulled back into his pokeball, the third friend could have sworn it was smiling at him. Without another word, the hooded figure was gone.



    EDIT: My RP, I just made up, I added a little to the history, though I already had when he joined, everything else wasnt very clear. Also, Anti-Hero, I saw right when I posted, that you posted only 2 min after me, sorry for the Houndour jack :)

    Name: Nikifor "Niki" Alabaster
    Age: 26
    Gender: Male
    Appearance: Niki is a man that has had it rough, and it shows. Because of this, his features are acute, never been dulled in any way possible. He has no skin blemishes of any sort, no freckles, no pimples, no anything. He has never burned, as he only tans. As a man in, or around his prime, he exerts a lot of testosterone, and because of that, is physically fit.

    Shoulder-length, red hair hangs down. It is left alone, he has no time do to style it or anything of the sort. His hair is crazy, and sticks out all over the place. (Kind of like Zelos from TOS, but shorter hair.) Steel-Grey eyes seem more like a lifeless void, reflecting no emotion. That, however, is his game face. It gives most a chill when they meet his gaze, the creepiness that is brought about by no emotion. He wears what most would consider a rather complex outfit A pair of black skinny jeans are his substitute for stockings; everything is black, except the buttons. A black over coat made of a weather and flame resistant material has red trimming. A black cavalier hat is adorned with a feather. A pair of black and red boots are good for long treks over any surface.

    Personality: Although Niki doesn't show his emotion, that isn't to say that he has none. In fact, he is quite a fill with tons of emotions. He believes that emotions make you weak, the compassion you feel for people, it is all just chemicals mixing and combining in your brain. Once you learn to take control of those chemicals, do you finally become a threat. He believes that he has reached the stage, where he controls his emotions, making him the predator and not the prey.

    Cold and calculating, he dare not make a mistake, a mistake could be the factor between life and death. Nothing matters but winning and getting stronger. The stronger you are, the more power you have. The more power you have, the better off you are. Niki's life is based on following his leader, his protector, and his master, Esthin. Many say that because he gave up his compassion, and has blindly devoted his life to a clearly insane man, he has lost his humanity, but he couldn't care less. If being human causes him to change his life, he doesn't want to be one. Occasionally he will have a mental lapse in which he regains what people consider humanity, these lapses. however, are brief.

    History: Niki had a great life, in fact, a life that would be envied by most. He was rich, and could afford anything he wanted. He enjoyed that life, but it was missing something. The challenges, the hard ships, they weren't there. So, he left his family in seek of the life. Of course, when things went wrong, he wanted back into the sweet life, his family, however, refused to accept him in because of the rash way that he handled things. So, he continued on his on.

    At this point, his life was hell. With not even a proper home, he lived where ever he could find a dry spot. He was the scum of the planet, hated by most everyone. The only thing that he had going for him was battling, when he was younger, he was the best, a battling prodigy he was decreed by some. Still, people treated him like absolute garbage. His training methods, all of that seemed to brutal, too dangerous, and everyone hated him for it. No matter where he went, he found no solace.

    Then, one day, cold, wet and starving, he was about to keel over. He had nothing left except for a pair of tattered clothes, all his pokemon, anything worth any sort of money was lost, stolen from him (He is determined to get his pokemon back if given the chance.) On the brink of what would be certain death, a man tripped over him. The man helped the distraught Nikifor to his feet, his intentions were unclear at the time, but the boy(at this time he was probably around nineteen) had grown a fondness to the man, and vowed to return the favor.

    Years passed, and his sense of battle had dulled. But, he once again heard of the stranger who had helped, thinking that it was now the time to repay him, he went and joined the first dark gym ever.
    Pokemon: Houndour, and could change the one for an egg move?

    Age: 26
    Gender: Male
    Appearance: Nox commonly wears a dark grey tunic, often with a black of jacket or trench coat. He also has a shock of white-blonde hair, which makes his dark wardrobe all the more unusual. Nox stands about 1.8 meters tall and weighs approximately 55 kilograms.
    Personality: Noxis very calm and cool, even when under severe pressure. Nox despises rashful, quick thinking people, and prefers to think out a well-rounded plan before acting.
    History: Nox's parents were killed when he was very young and was picked up by and occult group. They taught him the ways of meditation, self-purity, and even self-defense. Nox left the group when he was eighteen and set out on his journey to become an Elite Four Champion. It took six years of training before he was even close to defeating the Elite Four, however when he visited his former master before he took the Elite Four challenge his master disowned his, saying power was corrupting his mind. Devastated by this, Nox released is Pokemon into the wild and joined Esthin's gym to obtain his once meditative state again.

    Cdub399: I don't see the difference between the rejected SU, and this one. It's still far too short. I want this RP to be interesting and lasting, and posts of that size just won't make that happen. Again, declined for length.
