Arryn
Darren exits the apartment and sits on the steps.

Awkwardly, Arryn comes into view, guilty.

"Uh, I heard everything… sorry."

She glances at the apartment and sits next to Darren. "You shouldn't leave," she stares ahead of them at the apartment complexes opposite. "I get it, the whole not getting attached thing, I completely understand." Arryn scratches underneath Shadow's chin. "Sometimes we just can't help it though."

Giving advice is not her strong suit – at all – but as she said, sometimes you can't help but care about people and she does not want Darren to leave their fragile group.

Darren

"Houndoom and I will at leat hang around for another day or two." Darren took a bite of the Swellow leg. "But it's probably best for everyone if I'm not here. That way neither Tulip or I will get hurt. That way Gray and I don't kill each other." Darren took another bite of the Swellow leg, then pulled a piece off and handed it to Houndoom. "Besides, you've got Rex around. He can handle Gray when he decides to try killing you again." Darren stood up. "We'll be back... sometime before sunrise." Darren and Houndoom walked off.

Arryn
His words hurt more than she cares to admit.

He can handle Gray when he decides to try killing you again.

Arryn leans her back against the apartment door and crosses her arms. I can take care of myself should Gray loses it again and I don't think he will.

She watches as Darren and his Houndoom walk off into the night. That way neither Tulip or I will get hurt. "It's too late for that, buddy." If he really is in love with her, then the damage is already done.

Since she has no interest whatsoever going inside and facing Tulip's crap attitude should she wake up, Arryn makes herself comfortable outside and waits for Rex and Gray to come home.

Gray

"I was BORN ready!"

Before the action gets started, I walk up to the car and position my finger near the front seat door. A little click is heard and the door opens. Once I make sure we can open and close it freely, I head to the back of the truck and force open the back. There was a lot of space, just as I predicted. The truck was already in position, so all Rex and I needed to do was get what we came for.

"Alright then. I'll see you on the other side." I said to him as I walked through the front doors with Rex by my side. The lady at the front desk noticed us, but didn't seem to take interest. Just encase, I shot a jolt of electricity at her face, and she fell to the floor. "Before you say anything, she's not dead... I think." I said to Rex. The camera's aimed at me, They zoomed into my face and then Rex's. The camera lens adjusted a few times before going back to scanning the area.

"Alright. Your good to go. All Magnemite will ignore you and if you see anybody, I'll let you decide on what you want to do." As I said that last statement, I walked up the staircases to the second floor casual, leaving Rex and the stairs that go below in the process.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alright... Time to get started. I don't think we really need Pokeballs. The crew seemed already attached to their beloved Pokemon... Potions though, are definately a must.

As I thought things out, I forgot that there are ALWAYS scientist on this floor. I looked at them blankly and new a single bolt strike would kill all of them. I did exactly that.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hours later, I exit the building with a giant sack of random goods and items. I saw the truck empty.

Is Rex still at it?

As I began to think, Rex walks out with the Bag of things too, Seemingly proud.

"Heh... Not bad, Not bad at all." I said to him with a smirk as I tossed the large bag in the truck.

Arryn
Shadow makes a noise of complaint for the seventh time in the past ten minutes that Arryn stands and shoves the front door open. "Never took you for a complainer, Shadow." She mutters and follows her Absol inside.

Madox sniffs at the food and begins to nibble on the contents in the salad bowl.

"Help yourself," she scratches his head on the way into the kitchen.

"My stupid leg has been bothering me for ages," she mumbles and takes her purple, slightly singed tights off. Grabbing a dish towel, she sits on the now clean hardwood floor and breathes onto the towel, freezing it enough that it's cold to touch but not completely frozen.

She presses the towel onto her burned, now bare shin and sighs.

I won't hold it against him but shit this hurts.

"Hopefully they manage to get a burn heal from wherever they're robbing..." Arryn looks at the door leading outside and waits patiently for Gray and Rex to return.

Rex Dart
Have Fun Storming the Castle!

With the cameras taken care of and the receptionist knocked out, Rex and Gray go their separate ways, Rex taking the stairs to the basement. True to Gray's word, Rex steps out into a food court with several people inside, all enjoying their lunch break. Other than the stairs Rex just came from, the only other way out is the elevator on the other side of the room, located near the restrooms and the door to the kitchen.

A few people take notice when Rex walks in, but no one says anything or gets up. Rex shrugs, then smashes the top hinge of the door, jamming it shut. This gets the attention of a few people, and one man, apparently a security guard moves forward. "Hey! Who are you and what do you think you're doing?"

Seeing the man reach for his Pokeballs, Rex quickly and calmly brings his fist down on the man's head. The man's eyes slide out of focus as he collapses to the floor. Rex raises his voice, calling out to everyone. "My name is Rex, and I am here for your pantry! Everyone just stay in your seats and I'll be out of your hair in a few minutes."

A lady scientist throws a ball, sending out a Magnemite. "We will not tolerate any thievery or threats! You think you can take us all on?"

Rex chuckles, a wolfish grin spreading across his face. "That's the plan!" He tosses a ball of his own, sending out his Tyrantrum. Directly in front of the elevator. "Tyrant, make sure no one leaves. Let's keep this party private, huh?"

He rushes forward, "Storm..." grabs the Magnemite by the magnets, spins around a full 360, "THROW!" and slings the creature into a wall. He takes a deep breath, exhaling a blast of cobalt blue gas directly at the scientist. The force of his breath knocks her off her feet, and leaves her paralyzed on the ground.

Rex gathers power, bulking up as others rise to their feet. "Who's next?!"

**Several Fights Later**

Rex stands in the center of the room, people and Pokemon alike knocked out around him. Tyrant idly munches on a Murkrow someone had sent out against him, apparently thinking the T. rex would be an easier fight than the giant. They were wrong.

With the fight over, Rex is breathing heavily, clutching his chest in discomfort. Various cuts, bruises, and even a burn cover his body, but he's still smiling his gentle smile, satisfied with how everything went. He lets out his breath as his muscles return to normal size, his armored scales fading from his skin. He laughs quietly, looking around at the chaos he caused. "Been a while since we had a good brawl like that. When was that, 6 months ago?"

"Ty! Tyrant ty."

"Four? Oh right, the Game Corner. Those bouncers really knew how to take a hit. Even left me with a few bruises... But that's enough fun for now. I've got a job to do."

Leaving Tyrant to guard the elevator, Rex goes looking for supplies. Luckily, he has several empty burlap sacks in his pack for just such an occasion. He loads one up with various utensils (sporks and knives, kitchen knives, a can opener, etc.), while the rest are filled with food. There are 5-pound cans of fruit and vegetables, loaves of bread, frozen meats, and snacks (cookies, chips, crackers, fruit snacks).

After tossing all these bags into the elevator (and having Tyrant hold the door), he goes back for one more thing: a refrigerator. Filled with bottles of water, milk, tea, juice, lemonade, and various sodas, it is large, heavy, and unwieldy, but the beverages inside make it invaluable. After bulking up a bit, Rex is able to hoist it off the ground and stagger over to the elevator with it.

----

Gray is waiting by the truck as Rex heads outside, sacks of food slung over his shoulder. He grins and waves, seeing Gray has a bag of his own.

"Heh... Not bad, Not bad at all." Gray tosses his bag into the truck, followed by Rex's bags. "One more thing." Rex runs back inside, coming back with the fridge. After putting it in the truck, he looks at the size of the cab. Deciding that he won't fit, he climbs in the back of the truck, sitting on the floor.

"Shotgun!"

Darren

"So what do you think about Hoenn?". Darren said to Houndoom as the two walked down the street. "Doom." Houndoom happily said. "I'm thinking we should go there next. Far from Kanto, nothing bad seems to happen there as far as I know. Maybe tomorrow you and I will head out to Vermillion and board a ship, depending on how things go with the group". Darren stopped. "Except we don't have money for a ticket.... and sneaking onto one of those ships is going to be near impossible..." Darren looked at a building in the distance. "Well, I guess we could always go back to old gym. It's risky but we need the money if we're going to leave this region. Aerodactyl can't fly us all the way to Hoenn."

The pair stopped outside the building and Darren stared at the doors. Darren let out a large breath and looked down at Houndoom. "Let's hope we can make it out of here alive." Darren pushed the doors open and the two walked in. The room got quiet and the fight in the middle of the room stopped as everyone turned to look at Darren. "It's the hybrid." one man said, pulling out a knife. 'You just don't know when to leave town do you?" A giant of a man stepped out of the crowd. This guy again...

"I know when to leave" Darren said, staring the man down, "I just came to get a little money first".

The man laughed "You think we'd let you fight here again?".

"Afraid I'll win?"

The man stopped laughing and stared at Darren and started whispering to someone. The man turned back to Darren. "Alright kid, we'll make a deal with you. You want a fight, you've got one."

"Awesome". Darren began walking to the ring.

"But it's going to be a fight to the death". Darren stopped and turned around.

"What?"

"You heard me. A fight to the death. You win, you get the money. You lose, well... you know".

If I win I get the money. But if I lose.... Houndoom will be on his own. Darren looked to Houndoom who gave a nod to it's trainer. "Alright I accept". Darren stepped into the ring. "One more thing" the man said, "Double battle. Each man brings one of his pokemon into the ring". Well, I guess Houndoom won't be alone then. Houndoom jumped into the ring and growled. The man sent out a Machamp and the two walked into the ring. "Houndoom" Darren looked to his pokemon, "Good luck".

Gray

"One more thing." Rex runs back inside, coming back with the fridge. After putting it in the truck, he looks at the size of the cab. Deciding that he won't fit, he climbs in the back of the truck, sitting on the floor.

"Shotgun!"

"Alright, Just leave the Driving to me!"

I enter the truck's driver seat and I start the car with a jolt of electricity. Normally, A jolt of electricity would just fry the car's circuits, making it impossible to start. However, I had realized during the raid, That my Electricity seemed to posses a mind of its own, Doing what it wants.
The Jolt of electricity could be likened to me putting consciousness in a car. It soon started to turn on and make it's way to the apartment where everyone had been waiting.

I had been thinking since my Power is essentially alive, I think a name would be suitable for calling it. Can it even learn? Adapt?

I looked at the car wheel turning by itself, And then I look at my hand and let a bit of electricity release through my pointer finger tip. It shaped a question mark, as if it was wondering why I called it. I gave off a smile that I had never given before. One, that was neither evil or devious, But one, That perhaps a mother would give when she gives birth to the child she's always wanted.

"Light." I said to it and watched as the electricity spell out it's name. "I'll call you light." I told it, And as I did, It seem to spark, As if it was excited or pleased. It returned to my hand, And I look through the car's front window only to see the apartment coming into view.

Darren

Machamp right hands formed into fists and it punched it's left palms, staring Houndoom down. "Machamp, snap that Houndoom's neck. I'll take care of the trainer". Darren looked down at Houndoom, "All or nothing. Don't let it catch you off guard." Darren looked at the opponents on the other end of the ring. "Let's blind them as soon as the bell rings", Houndoom gave a nod then growled at Machamp. The giant man was handed a metal baseball bat, He thinks a bat will help him?. The bell rang and all four fighters ran toward the center of the ring. Darren fired a shadowball as Houndoom shot out a flamethrower. The two attacks collided and exploded, creating a cloud of smoke in the ring. Darren rushed into the cloud and punched the man in the jaw, knocking the man down. Houndoom jumped and hit Machamp in the chest with an Iron Tail. The man spun and swept Darren's legs out from under him, causing him to fall onto his back. Darren rolled over as a bat was slammed down where he was lying. Darren grabbed the bat but let go as he heard a clicking sound come from the bat. Nails shot out and were sticking out of the bat, turning the weapon into a mace. Ok. Guess these guys take death fights seriously. Machamp grabbed Houndoom and slammed the dog pokemon onto it's knee then threw it across the ring. Houndoom spit a flamethrower at Machamp as it flew but Machamp blocked the attack with Cross Chop.

Darren shot multiple Shadow Balls at the man, but each one got knocked away with the bat. I need to get that out of his hands if I'm going to get close enough to use my sword... Darren turned and shot Machamp in the back, making the pokemon turn around. Houndoom seized the opportunity to run up and grab onto Machamp's neck, digging it's teeth in as far as they would go. Machamp yelled in pain and used Submission to get Houndoom off. Darren ducked as the bat was swung at his head, then got knocked over by Machamp's Submission. The man swung the bat down, landing a hit on the back of Darren's leg. "Aaahhh!" Darren screamed as five spikes dug into his legs. Darren rolled onto his back as the spikes were pulled out and shot a Shadow Ball into the man's gut. Houndoom slowly stood up and hit Machamp in the face with a flamethrower. Machamp punched the ground with a quadruple focus punch, knocking Houndoom down. Darren sat up and tried to stand but couldn't stand on his left leg. This is not how I expected to die... Darren dropped back onto his back and rolled out of the way as the bat came crashing down again. Of course. Take out the legs. Darren crawled backwards to the edge of the ring.

Houndoom jumped back as Machamp kept punching. Darren pulled out his sword and watched as Houndoom and Machamp slowly came closer to him. Machamp finally landed a punch in Houndoom's face, knocking it down by it's trainer. Darren dove to the side to avoid getting hit by Houndoom. Machamp slowly walked towards Houndoom, ready to finish it off. Machamp's trainer stood back, laughing. "You should have left while you could have kid. Ya know, if you weren't a hybrid it might hurt me to do this. Darren looked over at Houndoom. Darren shifted his eyes to his sword then Machamp's legs, Houndoom gave a nod and laid it's head down. As Machamp raised it's fists to finish off the canine Darren rolled behind Machamp and stabbed the back of it's calves, the blade going all the way through and sticking out the other side. Blood splattered on Darren's face as he rolled back to avoid the fighting pokemon as it came crashing down, crippled by Darren's sword. Houndoom leapt up and took hold of Machamp's throat, digging it's teeth in deep and tearing the fighting pokemon's throat out. Houndoom walked up to Darren, helping him up. Darren grabbed onto Houndoom's horns and pulled himself onto his knees, then slowly pushed off the pokemon's back to stand up. Darren stood on his right foot, using his katana to balance himself.

Machamp's owner stood in shock as he watched Darren and Houndoom defeat the fighting pokemon. The man raised the bat and ran at Darren. As the man got closer Darren shot two Shadow Balls, one at the man's feet and one at the weapon in his hands. As the man fell and dropped the weapon, Houndoom ran up and bit his hands to prevent him from grabbing it. Darren limped over to the man kneeling before him, "If you WERE a hybrid, it might hurt me to do this". Darren swung the blade, slicing off the man's head. Darren limped over to the announcer, followed by Houndoom. "I'll take my money". The announcer shook as he reached into his pocket and handed a pile of cash to Darren. Darren fire punched the guy in the face then turned around and picked up the dismembered head. Not that it really matters. But this might show Gray that it's best if he backs off. Darren limped out of the gym, using his katana as a cane.

I yawned waking up from the cat nap. I walk out to the kitchen to see the table. Some food had been eaten and Arryn was sitting, icing her burn.

"Who ate the food? Wheres Darren? Are you trying to cure that burn with ice? That may feel good but its not helping anything. She sighed sitting on the ground next to Arryn. She tossed the cold cloth away and took out a vile from her purse. She poured it on the burn. She stood up trying to contain her smirk. She knew this stuff would cause an excruciating burning sensation so she sat and watched.

"Oh hun? This might sting a little." She smirked sitting back. The stuff would help her but she'd still be in pain.

"So Arryn. whats going on with you and Gray? I know you like him... I think he likes you too." she said nonchalantly. Then she went to the table and started putting things back in the oven to warm them.

"Grarryn... too depressing... Array... Thats no good either.... Hmm... you two seem very compatible... in my opinion." she said looking at her nails then down at Arryn.

Arryn
"Darren and I ate some of the food," Arryn confesses sleepily. When are they going to get back?

"Are you trying to cure that burn with ice?" She looks up as Tulip questions her, mocking. "That may feel good but it's not helping anything."

Tulip sits beside her, removes the cold towel and brings out a vial of some liquid. Is that a burn heal? It doesn't look like one… She pours it on the burn without hesitation and stands.

Arryn hisses at the pain. "Dammit," she curses.

Tulip can barely hide her smirk.

"Oh hun? This might sting a little," she says as if she just remembered.

"So Arryn, what's going on with you and Gray? I know you like him… I think he likes you too."

Not this again. "As of right now I'm getting over the fact that he's tried to kill me, twice." Arryn quips. This is the source of Tulip's attitude towards her. Gray.

"Hmm… you two seem very compatible… in my opinion."

Arryn forces a smile at the girl, looking up from her spot on the floor. "Well, I'm sure Darren would be happy to hear we get your approval."

Shadow:

Shadow walked down the lamp lit street of Saffron City. He could hear a car in the distance coming down the road. He had nothing to worry about. He hid his hybrid status well, as much of his power was hidden with in the longswords he had sheathed to his side. He wore black clothing every now and then that helped him blend into the shadows and night time.

He heard something in the ally between some old run-downed apartments. He had his hands in his pockets as he turned to look down the apartment ally. Two men were beating a young Eevee. Shadow had no love for the likes of those who picked on those weaker. In his eyes, pokemon, human, and hybrid were all the same except the murderous Team Rocket who he hated with a passion. Team Rocket were the main people he hated. He accepted that people will die, people will kill, and people will steal in order to survive, but mistreating anything like this was, the wrongest thing.

"Hey fellas. I don't like what you are doing there." Shadow said as he walked down the ally toward the two men and the Eevee.

One of the men turned, "Mind your own business. This has nothing to do with you."

The man pulled out a knife.

Shadow sighed, "I don't want to fight, but don't force me to. Just stop beating the Eevee and leave. I will take the little Eevee myself."

"You are an idiot. You can't take on both of us." The other one said as he walked shoulder to shoulder with the other.

Shadow stopped, "Last warning. Leave, or... you will force my hand."

The two men yelled and charged. Knives waving in the air.

"Very well." Shadow said as his speed boost ability kicked in and within a blink of an eye he appeared behind them.

"I warned you." Before they could turn back around on him, Shadow held up his hand and a surge of dragon energy pulsed forward launching the two men with the knives out of the ally, across the street where then hit the ground and started to tumble, coming to a stop against a wall on the other side.

Knowing that the two men would not be bothering him for a while, he turned to the Eevee who was shaking on the ground. He picked up the little fox pokemon and cradled him in his arms and walked out of the ally. He found a bench on the side walk where he sat down. He took off his bag he had on his back and found a bottle of water and an oran berry. He crushed the oran berry into the water and slowly fed it to the Eevee. Although the Eevee did not accept it right away, it had looked into Shadow's eyes. "Ee.....vee."

"Yeah that's right. I am not hear to harm you. Just want to help. And if you want, you can stay with me. My little sister had always wanted an Eevee... but Team Rocket's experiments killed her when she was seven. She died in my arms. She told me to catch an Eevee one day." Shadow talked to the Eevee.

Shadow could feel is sister's necklace around his neck that he wore. It had a symbol of a Talonflame on it and was more like a chain. Sadly he could barely remember his sister. The only family he had. He wasn't even sure she was his sister. But for 12 years, Shadow has been alone. He never blamed any single person for anything. The only people that were to blame for everything was Team Rocket.

"I bet." she said flatly.

"So... you do like him...? Even though I have... or had dibs? You broke girl code." She said crossing her arms. Then it hit her. Gardevoir was freaking out and sent itself out of its pokeball. The gardevoir touched Tulips temples and gave her a message.

"Oh my god! Theres another Hybrid in town.... he has a hurt pokemon... IS he cute...? I cant tell... Come on... lets go find him." she says worringly, like a mom or something. She pulled Arryn up from the ground.

"God youre heavy... I thought you were an ice type not a steel type...." she said in a joking sort of way but it was still very obviously an insult.

Darren

Darren and Houndoom stumbled down the street. "Well Houndoom, we survived". Darren looked down at the head in his hand, "Not sure how I'm going to explain this though...". What would the group even think? What would Tulip think? Darren shook his head Not like it matters. The group's probably going to fall apart in a few days then Houndoom and I will be on our way. Darren stopped and looked at his leg, pulling up the leg of his jeans to see the five holes from the spiked bat. "Definitely gotta take care of that soon." Darren dropped the pant leg and look forward, "I'd say we're about ten minutes away?".

Arryn
"So… you do like him…? Even though I have… or had dibs? You broke girl code."

Arryn shakes her head disbelievingly. "Tulip, I met him yesterday. I know hardly anything about him!"

"Oh my god!" Tulip suddenly says as her Gardevoir massages her temples. "There's another Hybrid in town… he has a hurt Pokemon… is he cute…? I can't tell… Come on… Let's go find him." She reaches down and pulls Arryn up. "God you're heavy… I thought you were an ice type not a steel type…"

Arryn rolls her eyes and brushes the insult off. I'm not letting her get to me anymore. We have bigger issues at hand.

The stinging of her burn has subsided slightly and she stretches her leg out, looking at the burn mark. She has her fair share of scars, so it's not a huge deal.

"I'll leave a message for Rex and Gray should they get back while we're gone." Arryn says, reaching for the notepad and scribbling down a quick message for the guys.

Tulip had another feeling.
There's another Hybrid in town, we're going to look for him.

"Dear Gray. I love you so much and I want to have your babies and make out with you. I love you babe. Forever and always , Arryn." She said mockingly as Arryn wrote the note.

"Lets go." she said walking out of the door. "They better not eat that damn food..." she growled.

"Oh but im sure if Gray does youll find a way to punish him." she said flipping her hair and walking down the stairs.

Gray

As I pulled up to the house, I was somewhat excited. I left Rex in the car, and I quickly grabbed the bag of Items. I knew Arryn would be proud of me if I show her all the Items Rex and I got.

I burst through the door with Pride. "I'm back!! And I got the-... Huh?" I looked around and noticed everybody wasn't in the room. I took a step in and noticed the note.

Tulip had another feeling.
There's another Hybrid in town, we're going to look for him.
A

I frowned, as I found out she wasn't here. It was a disappointment. My frown quickly became a glare. I was upset that my efforts have seemingly been for nothing. Not 1 person was here to acknowledge my efforts.

"Tch... New Hybrid huh? Time to introduce myself..."

Arryn
It was pitch black outside now, the only source of light coming from street lamps and the crescent moon overhead.

"How are we supposed to find someone like this?" Arryn mutters, looking down every alley she and Tulip pass. "Shadow," she addresses her Absol. "Go up ahead and scout out the alleyways, come back if you find anyone." Shadow can find Hybrids' just as she had with Darren.

Shadow races up the next two blocks and begins to search every corner.

Arryn brushes her hair off her face and gives Tulip a side glance.

"I know you're upset with me and all… but our group is already falling apart." Not good with emotional situations, Arryn avoids looking at her and stares stonily ahead. "We shouldn't be fighting over something so stupid."

"Were getting close..." she said sensing his aura, using the power of the moon.

"Okay. We don't have to fight... Look." She stopped and sighed.

"You're still my best friend I just... I've never not gotten what I want and the fact that Gray likes you over me is upsetting... I'm sorry... I'm not trying to be a total bitch or a brat or whatever I just... I act weird when things don't go my way... that's probably why Gray likes you... I'm high maintenance and you're not..." she said looking down.

"Its fine... Im sorry... lets just keep going..." she said quietly, tears falling from her face.

Arryn
I'm so bad with these situations but… Arryn sighs and pulls Tulip into an awkward hug.

"He doesn't like me, Tulip and it should not matter or change things between us." She pulls back to give her a comforting smile. "Besides, things between you and Darren seem to be going well..." Tulip may be the only way to stop Darren from leaving this group.

"Now let's go find this Hybrid."
