Gray

I smiled, Forgetting that she can see my face.

"Is that so? I don't wanna ask this but... Why do people... Kiss each other?" I asked, Feeling myself become nervous. "I mean... Isn't it the same as a handshake? Tulip seems to do it all the time, But I don't feel anything. I think it might be different if it were... uh.. Y-You?"

I cleared my throat, Not knowing what I'm doing.

"Awww... okay..." she said nuzzling him kissing his chest through his shirt.

"Well get used to sleeping next to someone... Id like to do this more often..." she said softly.

"Darren... promise not to leave me... okay?" she said quietly, straddling Darren's chest and putting his hands on her hips.

"Isn't the silk nice?" she said innocently.

Arryn
I upset him… Arryn sighs in the dark, not meaning to ruin his mood.

Didn't you know? I used to work for Giovanni. His office is in the Silph.co building.

Arryn waits until she's sure Gray is asleep and Rex is slumbering on the ground before she slips out of the bed as quiet as possible. If there's one thing she's good at, it's being sneaky.

Shadow, her Absol, glares at her in the dark as if she knows what Arryn plans on doing.

She gestures her head towards the door and the two leave the apartment quietly.

Once outside, Arryn breaks into a sprint up the next few blocks.

Shadow growls, you're not thinking clearly.

"If I wasn't, I would take the others with me." I snap at her, but she only gives me a look that says I proved her point.

Right as I was about to kiss Darren I felt something different.

"Gardevoir... teleport to Arryn." I say quietly teleporting behind Arryn.

"Where the fuck do you think you're going?" she said irritably.

"Fine... but if you arent back by the time I wake up tomorrow. I promise you I will jump off of that building." She said seriously.

"We will talk more about you and Gray tomorrow. I love you. Goodnight." she says hugging Arryn.

"Remember. I will die, if you don't come back." she said teleporting back to Darren and falling asleep in his arms.

((Night yall))

Arryn
Tulip teleports away and she breathes in a sigh of relief. I was almost going to sing to her, let my dark move knock her out…

If everything does go according to plan, then Arryn will be back by morning, safe and sound.

Silph Co. isn't too far from the park, it turns out. Arryn stares at the large building from the parks' border, considering the very worst that could happen.

Death, what happened to Gray could very well happen to me… All reasons that she should turn around and go back to the apartment to sleep for the next eight hours. Yet the mere possibility she can look that scum Giovanni in the face clouds her judgement.

Ignoring Shadows desperate look, Arryn jumps the shrubs that act as a fence and strides towards Silph Co. with every intention of confronting the very man that made her what she is.

I've never killed anyone, only did what I had to for survival and still, people treat me as a monster. It's his fault.

She pulls the doors open and marches into the front lobby, looking at her first targets that act as guards by the elevator. The receptionist is nowhere in sight.

"You two," Arryn addresses them stonily, grabbing one by the collar. "Where's Giovanni?"

The two men that can't be much older than her share a look. She's about to snap at them when the one she's holding glances upwards.

A security camera is trained down on her.

With her free hand, Arryn forms an icicle that hovers in her palm and flicks it towards the camera. It penetrates the lens.

"You're one of them…" the other guard says in disgust. "If you don't leave, we'll –"

"If you don't tell me where Giovanni is, that lens will be your eye…" she threatens, holding her hand up for good measure.

The elevator dings and Arryn looks, hopeful as the doors part – more guards, about six of them, exit the lift with their Pokeballs at the ready.

"This is what you buzzed in for?" The man with bright red hair questions incredulous. "A little girl?"

Shadow snarls at the man in warning.

"And her pet… has Silph Co. really sunk this far?"

Arryn abandons the guard she had been holding by shoving him towards Shadow whom pounces on her prey, teeth bared inches from his face.

The man with red hair cracks his knuckles, pocketing his Pokeball. "Are you here to sell cookies? Because, I have to say, our fridge is –"

"Stolen," Arryn interrupts. "My friends stole everything you have and left most of you with your life." The man waits, calculative. "If you don't tell me what I want to know then I'll finish their job." She's talking a big game for someone who has never killed before.

He smirks, "and what is it you want to know princess?"

Arryn stares him directly in his cold, black eyes. "Where is Giovanni?"

There's no reply for a long moment that Arryn prepares herself to follow through on her threat when he finally says, "he's in Johto, by now. You just missed him." He snaps his fingers as if it's a shame.

Now what, genius?

Her indecisiveness must show as he laughs, booming and mocking. He grabs her hands, yanking her forward and holding her in a vice like grip. "Take her Absol out."

Shadow springs to action, ripping the man beneath her to pieces. Arryn struggles in the man's grasp – with both her hands constricted, there's nothing she can do. She has never given battle commands to her Absol as Shadow does what she wants anyway, so Arryn doesn't have much fear when the men suddenly rush at her.

"I bet you're really regretting your decision right now…" the man hisses right in her face and because she's stubborn, she doesn't look away.

"Hm, what's this?" His fingers wrap around her shard of ice and fear quickly overcomes her. He notices her tense up and smiles cruelly. "Must be important…" he yanks the shard, snapping the tie around her neck.

"No!" She shouts as he chucks it behind him at the guard, still by the elevator.

Shadow continues to maul the men behind her and Arryn feels the control inside her snap completely. The one thing that could stop me from being a murderer… she glares at the men, rears her head back and bashes her forehead against his nose.

The man releases her in shock, hand flying to nurse his probably broken nose. He'll be saved for last.

Arryn spins around to help Shadow that has now finished off her third kill. She grabs one woman that charges for her Absol and let's an ice dagger form right under her chin. She tosses the woman to the ground, dead.

The two fight side by side, dispatching every person that comes their way until all that remains is him.

"Easy," Arryn cautions Shadow whom is crouching, ready to pounce. "This one is mine."

Ice daggers materialise in her hands at will, her new favourite weapon.

The man glares at her, snapping his nose into place painfully.

"You should be thanking Giovanni, you little bitch," he grunts. "Look at what you can do… don't you like to be feared?"

"Are you saying you're afraid?" She taunts.

He chuckles, "impressed, maybe… but afraid? You'll have to give me a better reason."

Fine by me.

She lunges for him, daggers in hand – he catches her wrists, holding them tightly and slamming her on the floor beneath him, never loosening his hold.

Arryn squirms beneath him when he straddles her waist, twisting her wrists so the daggers point to her neck.

Shadow whines.

"He's mine," Arryn repeats with a groan, the pressure of his body making it hard to speak.

Waiting for the opportune moment, Arryn, using all the energy she had left wrenches her arms upwards; the tip of her dagger scrapes her cheek, deep enough to leave a scar. Seriously, when will I stop getting them? As she had before, Arryn slams her forehead into his face and he reels backwards, enough so that she plunges the daggers into his chest.

Arryn lays back on the ground, collecting her breathing. She laughs but it sounds broken with her chest still feeling the pressure.

Shadow licks at the wound on her cheek and Arryn reaches up, eyes closed to ruffle her fur.

"It wasn't a completely useless trip," she sighs and pushes herself up into a sitting position, looking at the carnage around her. "We know where Giovanni is…"

Shadow looks at her as if she's lost the plot and also looks around them at the blood stained marble floor.

Shadow (Hybrid):

He let Arryn have the rawst berry as they walked him the rest of the way to the apartment. They entered and I stood like a bump on a log. Listening and taking in everything.

What the hell did I get myself into? Shadow thought, but he couldn't help, but smile.

"A change of pace would be good for once." Shadow said to himself.

He walked over to a window and looked out, there wasn't much to see. But he still felt extremely awkward meeting so many people at the same time.

He listened to everything said, but he still was sure if it was right to join them

If they are looking to go to Johto, why don't they just take the subway? He wondered, but they he remembered that they were hybrids. So was he, but he rarely showed his powers.

It didn't bother him that most people didn't accept him right away. Everyone had went to sleep, but he remained standing in the moon light of the window with the Eevee in his hand. He didn't want to catch the pokemon like this, but maybe the little Eevee had already accepted him. He brought out a poke ball and tapped in lightly on the Eevee's head. They ball absorbed the pokemon and it clicked once and stopped.

I'll ask it tomorrow if it wants to travel with me.

He sat down in the chair. It was surprisingly comfortable. He closed his eyes.

Let's see. Rex is the mountain. Should be easy enough to remember. Darren is the guy that had the severed head. Don't know why, but he did. Gray is the one.... the one that used to work with Team Rocket. For his sake, I hope he doesn't work for them again. He has that lightning though... How I wish I was a ground type. Tulip is the one with the fairy aura. She must be part fairy and grass and she obviously can't drink much. Arryn... is the one with the Absol that shares they same name as me.

Shadow opened his eyes. Arryn was slipping outside. He wondered if he should follow her or not. He didn't have much else to do. And he really wasn't too tired. And he was practically a ninja. He patted his two swords sheathed on his side. Quickly, but quietly he sneaks out of the house and climbs to the roof.

"She may not want me to follow, but I can't sit around knowing someone might get into trouble. She has to be part dark if she thinks she is sneaky enough to do something like this in the middle of the night."

His watch rang. He quickly clicked his watch.

"A Team Rocket member is walking down the street near the pokemon center. Kill him."

The voice faded. Shadow grinned, "A new target. Finally. I have been waiting for one to show up. But what about the girl... Damn it. The team rocket member shouldn't be too tough... Ugh. I don't have to kill one every time."

He clicked the watch, "I decline this assassination. Let someone else take care of it tonight. Next assassination, give me two targets together."

"It is unlike you to decline such a small job. But ok. When a new job comes up, we will let you know." The watch said as the voice faded yet again.

Shadow started following far behind. Stopping at the edge of a building and taking a seat. He waited patiently, "If I don't sense anything wrong, I will head back to the apartment. However, it would be wrong to leave someone behind if they were in trouble. I think she will be ok. Especially if she is a hybrid."

Shadow Laid on the roof he stopped on, looking up to the sky. He felt at peace with everything in this town at the moment. Other than those two men, but he had warned them.

He felt something change in the air, and thought he could smell blood. He quickly got to his feet and looked into the direction of the park. He hopped over roofs and climbed to a higher building and looked toward a large building. He could see many bodies on the ground and he saw a girl sitting with her Absol.

"Hmm. Those are members of Team Rocket, I am pretty sure. Not bad. I wonder if there are any other members there that I could deal with... That would take care of a large amount of jobs for me at least."

He touched he watch again, "I have a better idea. If I was to take care of some members, could I got on vacation for a bit?"

"You just declined a mission. We don't have any for more than one at the moment."

"How about I sneak into their HQ?"

"Your serious?"

"Yeah. Looks like they have been hit pretty hard today already."

"Fine. Do what you like. We will transfer the credits to your card, but if you betray us, we will kill you."

"Understood, but unlikely."

"Unlikely to what?"

"What do you think?" Shadow said with a smile and shut the watch off.

He waited for the right moment.

Arryn
It takes her a beat to realise the guy from the elevator, the one that had her necklace, was gone.

Arryn manages to get to her feet and stumbles slightly, uncoordinated from the fight. I hope this feeling is gone by the time I get my hands on that twerp.

Shadow follows her into the lift as Arryn punches the 2 button.

Do I even want the shard back? It's true that she has never felt so free, more powerful since her only tether to having any self-control was snapped… but she needed it, for when the group would get on her nerves. She was impatient enough as it was – what would happen if Gray acted up? If Tulip got protective over a boy?

The elevator opens and Arryn enters the hall, albeit slow but with purpose.

She pauses, listening intently for any sound – hearing nothing, Arryn walks slowly down the hall.

"I'll give you one chance to hand that little shard over…" her taunting has never implied what the outcome would be should someone fail to do as she said and out the corner of her eye, Shadow even seems surprised.

Shadow:

"Dang. She went further in."

Shadow jumped down to the street floor from building lines and other things to help break his fall. His speed boost ability kicked in and he moved quickly across the street and into the building. He wasn't moving fast enough for the cameras to completely miss him. He was sure that it had at least caught him. He stepped over bodies and through a puddle of blood, looking for the girl, but he wasn't sure where she was.

"Damn it. I don't want to let her see me. Most of the time I am calm, but I really really hate Team Rockets. All the pain they caused.... I wouldn't mind just blowing this whole place apart with dragon pulse. At least it it night time where no one can see me. At least not easily."

He walked around the floor for a bit. Seeing if there was anything that he could possibly use. He finally ran over to the elevator, and hit one button. It opened, but he didn't see anyone right away. If Arryn had used the elevator, she must be on a different floor. This was good. He could look for some Rocket Members to kill.

Arryn
"Scout him out," Arryn whispers to Shadow.

Shadow sneaks ahead as Arryn continues to call out taunts for him to show his face.

With no response, Arryn opens the door to the stairwell as it will be much faster than an elevator. Shadow returns and follows her into the stairwell.

The cycle continues, going further and further up, threatening floors with no one in them.

"What gives…" Arryn hisses, moving up to the sixth floor.

She shoves the door open and yelps as an elbow connects to the side of her head. She falls on her side, hard on the ground in the spacious room, desks and chairs have been pushed to the side with maybe thirty or so people lining the back.

The man above her is the guard that was handed her shard.

I'm powerful, but not enough to take out thirty people…

Shadow:

Something didn't seem right. He had been running around rooms, not seeing anyone. It was odd.

"This can't be right. Even if a small amount of people were here, there would be at least one on each floor."

He thought about Arryn, he should have seen her by now. He quickly started to run, speed boost kicking in every so often as he continued to run. He got to the sixth floor where he thought he heard a yelp. He pulled out his two longsword that started to glow one with a dark glow and the other with a lighter glow. He walked slowly to the door. And stayed in the shadows as he looked in. He could see at least thirty people lined up in the back. The desks and chairs were pushed to the side.

He could see Arryn on the ground, with a man towering over her.

Hmm... Thirty on two. Obviously this wasn't her night. I may have to bring out my pokemon for this. If we have to fight. Don't think I can handle more than a few people at once. Then again, my speed as increased by a lot thanks to speed boost. What to do...

"If I knew there would be an audience," Arryn starts, lifting herself up onto her hands and knees. "I would have cleaned the blood off my hands."

The guy fakes a laugh, holding the shard of ice in his fingers above her.

"Tell your Pokemon to back off or this gets crushed by my Machoke."

I need that.

Arryn scowls at him from beneath her hair that is falling in her face, having been shaken out of its tie during the scuffle earlier.

"Shadow, easy," she calls her Absol as she stands in front of Arryn. Shadow moves behind her no longer the barrier between her and the guard.

"Tell me something," he begins, crossing one arm over his chest and staring at the shard with interest.

"Should you die… what would happen to the rest of you freaks? Would the message to back off be clear? Or do I need to throw all of you out the window…"

Arryn looks in the direction he does. The sea of people parts as the sixth floor window is wide open and a huge gust of air blows in; it cools the slash on her cheek that is drying with blood, pinching the pale skin.

"Answer me," He backhands that cheek, sending her crashing into the wall.

Still, she pushes herself up so her back is resting against the solid wall. She gives him a snarky smile laced with pain – if she's going to die, she won't make it easy on them.

"If you managed to kill me," she nods her head to the window. "I can assure you that there will be some upset people."

I'm not sure about Darren or the new guy, but positive that Rex, Gray and Tulip would rain hell on this place should I be sent hurtling out that window.

"Don't prod the bull," she advises, pushing herself up onto her feet.

"Then perhaps we should send you a message." He nods to the other guards that quickly swarm her – she tries to punch one, but her fist is easily caught thanks to her lack of energy.

Arryn is carried towards the open window and she sees herself in the reflection of the others. I don't even look like me any more.

Blood is dried in her hair, on her face… her eyes are bloodshot, lip busted, cheek scarred and red. Tulip would be disgusted with my appearance, she muses as the men hold her by the back of her hair, close to the window's edge.

"It's time for you to answer some questions, Hybrid."

Shadow: (Hybrid)

Note: This is my last post for a little bit.

Shadow watched as the man backhanded her and a group picked her up and took her to the window.

"Wrong move."

With his speed boost, Shadow ran into the room and before they knew what had happened. He brought up his blade and slashed through the heads of the people carrying her with his Sacred Sword.

He heads tumbled of as he stood in front of the one the seemed to be the leader. He slashed of his arm and the crystal like thing that he thought the girl was after and the arm fell to the ground.

"I really don't want to fight. But... what you are doing is wrong. You call us freaks when you were the ones that made us. I advise you to quit. You let her go and you live. Actually.... I think I made you let her go. You murdered my little sister and I will kill every last one of you. But my task is finished. Stand down or you will be the one going out of the window." Shadow warned.

"Arryn, get what you needed and go. I will hold them off. Don't worry about me. You need to get out of here though." Shadow said as he sheathed one of his swords and brought out his Greninja, Duoblade, and Lucario.

One member charged at him with a stick and Lucario raised an aura sphere and blasted the man back,

Arryn
"Wrong move."

Is that… Shadow?

When the hold on her slackens, then drops altogether, Arryn turns around to see Shadow wielding a sword and her shard on the ground beside a severed arm.

"I really don't want to fight but… what you are doing is wrong. You call us freaks when you were the ones that made us. I advise you to quit. You let her go and you live. Actually… I think I made you let her go. You murdered my little sister and I will kill every last one of you. But my task is finished. Stand down or you will be the one going out of the window."

Arryn blinks in surprise, a million questions racing through her head.

How did he find me? What is he doing here? What happened to his sister…?

"Arryn, get what you needed and go. I will hold them off." He doesn't even look back at her as he talks, keeping his eyes trained on the guard writhing in pain. "Don't worry about me. You need to get out of here though."

He sends his Pokemon out to finish the job and she snatches her shard off the floor.

"Be careful…" Arryn implores him, touched that he saved her from almost certain death with the way she acted towards the guards.

With the shard in her hand, Arryn no longer feels the need to kill every single person working in this building. In fact, she wants to leave and get a damn Potion more than anything.

Arryn dodges an attack meant for her on her way to the stairwell. The moment she's on the steps, she's racing down two at a time.

I almost died. I almost died. I almost died. The mantra continues until she reaches the lobby and is sprinting outside. I just left him up there alone…

She limps to the safety of the park, far enough away from Silph Co. that she no longer felt a target; Arryn collapses onto the grass to take a breather.

She unfurls her fist that clutches the shard, her tether and shakes her head, feeling herself come back into her own mind; but not entirely.

I'll get back to the apartment, heal up and come back.

Gray

My eyes slowly start to open as I find myself staring at the wall. I sit up, knowing I'm more of an early bird, I assume everyone should still be asleep.

I glance to my side and Arryn was NOT there. Not trying to imagine the worse, I assume she took a midnight walk. No problem.

I look over to see Rex sleeping like a Dog. I shoot out a jolt of electricity to scatter the house. It returned to me and formed a thumbs up as Darren and Tulip were asleep in the room.

"Good work Light " I said to it, Proud only my power has a form of intelligence. "It seem's everyone is just fi-" I paused. I looked around for that other Hybrid. He was suppose to be in that chair.

Arryn and Shadow were missing. BOTH were NOT here in the middle of the night. That can only mean one thing...

The window was open already, So I swiftly jumped through it, avoiding the loud floor creaks. I'm an electric type. Lucky for me the earth has a magnetic field, And with this upgraded Power Giovanni gave me, I can manipulate that Magnet field around me.

I landed on the ground, but as I did, I made sure to cause a ruckus by purposefully cratering the ground.

"Shadow and Arryn are together, I know it..." I said to myself, INFURIATED

"Light. Do me a favor. I want you to travel through electric wires, going from house to house in search of Arryn and Shadow. If they're together, KILL Shadow. If you find just Shadow, KILL him. If you find Arryn, show yourself. I'm sure she'll know that you and I are the same. Once you show yourself, Guide her to me, And try not to be too fast... Not a lot of people are as Godlike as us" I commanded, while speaking confidently.

Without a second to waste, It quickly shot at each building, riding currents from house to house at light speed.

I smirk, knowing that LIGHT WILL get the job done. It's traveling at light speed, so I don't have to worry about time. Shadow better hope he's not found, because LIGHT, Is LEGENDARY Lightning...

I awoke to the sound of the the clattering outside and stood up. I felt okay, I figured out a while ago the fairy part of me cant handle my liquor and the grass type of me can get rid of diseases and recover fast. So no hangover for me. I smiled at Darren still sleeping and kissed his forehead softly. I get dressed back in my dress and have Houndoom zip me up, he was still very tired. I walked out to the living room expecting to see everyone but Rex was the only one in the house.

"Arryn..." I said softly. I opened the front door and stepped out going down the stairs to here Gray say the word "kill."

"I'm sorry... who are you going to kill?" I asked stepping out in front of Gray. I look to the top of the roof and think about what I said to Arryn.

"You're looking for Arryn i bet? When tell her im jumping... she wasn't back in time, so im jumping."

Shadow: (Hybrid)
Shadow waited for Arryn to leave.

"You will die! We will kill you!" The guy with one less armor yelled.

Shadow sighed, "Fine. There is one thing I can thank Team Rocket for. And that is the combination I was given. You have only seen one of the abilities you gave me. Now... And I really hate do this.... you will see my second. It is true, I may not be extremely powerful, but Team Rocket has always been fairly weak. I don't recall a time where they actually stopped anyone, even with numbers they always seem to win. If ti was any one else that was threatening me, may they stood a chance. But you are Team Rocket and I hate Team Rocket. Now... behold.... Pure Power." Shadow said as he took off his necklace and put it in his pocket.

His eyes started to glow a purple color and a power strong enough could be seen around his body. A cloak of the blackish purple aura surrounded his body, mainly from the fact that he was a dark type. His swords lit up like a torch in the darkness.

"You see, I was given the abilities Pure Power and Speed Boost. The two together, are powerful. I usually don't like unleashing Pure Power, but I think when it is 20+ on 4.... is a unfair. True there is no fairness in this world. Not anymore. I try to stay calm. I try to not show this... mutation off. I act like a normal person. I did not choose this power. You forced me and many others into it. Now.... it seems like you have more than you took on more than you could handle." A focus blast caught Shadow off guard as he was talking. He took the hit, doing a good amount of damage. Dark and fighting were both weak against fighting typed attacks.

Shadows skidded across the room.

"Greninja Water Shurikan. Lucario, Aura Sphere. Duoblade, use power trick and slash them with your blades. They want a fight. We will give them one. But first...." Shadow said.

He took what seemed like one step and covered the gap that had been formed while he was talking to the severed arm guy, trying to reach for his pokeball, but couldn't. He was next to the window.

"As I said... you are the one going out of the window." Shadow said as he placed his hand on the man's stomach.

"Wait stop! Please! We will let you go. You will never see use again!" The man begged.

"Why should I? You didn't stop. You didn't spare my sister when she was in pain! Why should I stop!?"

"Dear Arceus please! I have a family that I care deeply for. Please. Let me live!"

Shadow watched the man plead. Shadow put down his hand and turned away. He let his power down and he sheathed his blades. He noticed that other members were cowering at the might of his pokemon against theirs.

"Enough." Shadow said.

His pokemon stopped, he had already killed his share, "I don't want to fight. I never want to fight. But I am forced to." Shadow said as he heard the man grab a chain from behind him.

"And I don't take lightly to liars." Shadow said as he turned around on the guy who had picked up a chain and quickly channeled dragon energy to his right hands.

"Dragon Pulse." Shadow said. A massive light of dragon energy shaped like a dragon with wings blasted from his right hand, into the guy who had just been pleading for his life. The man took a direct hit and he was launched through the wall just next to the window.

"Damn it. He was suppose to go through the window. I am still not completely in control of Dragon Pulse." Shadow cursed at himself.

He looked at the other Team Rocket members who didn' try anything else. He was suffering from that focus blast, but he could still take on some members if he had to.

"Anyone else care to try?" Shadow asked, his eyes returning to normal.

No one said anything.

"I have one last favor before I leave, if someone asks who killed who, make sure you tell them that seven of them were killed by 'the boy that is called what he is.' They will know who you are talking about. Anyways, you fellas have a nice night. I will be going now." Shadow said as he put the necklace back around his neck.

He returned his pokemon and walked down the steps with no problems. Pain was searing through his left side, but he was ok. It will probably be sore tomorrow though.
