Jade appeared by the twins, pretty much shouting every profanity Gold had ever heard, and even some he hadn't.

Gold frowned down at his brother. Tears were in his eyes, a look of sadness and fear of loss.

"You can't leave brother, you can't! I need you, Angel needs you, Rikki needs you... Julie needs you..."

He picked up the blood-covered body and rushed outside with it. Jade flew beside Gold who took to the air, still holding Silver. He was rushing him to the nearest veterinarian hospital and placed Silver on the table, blood quickly dripping over the edges of the table.

Julie looked at the roof saddly.

"No response?"Riley asked.

"No....if he does hear me there is something really wrong with Silver or someone."Julie replied her head slightly shaking.

She stood up and walked to the edge of the skyscraper.They were high up.She sighed and grew her wings and flew across the town and landed on another skyscraper.She did this where she might get closer to Gold.

"Gold is everything okay?Is Silver okay?Where are you guys?"She asked.

Riley then landed next to her again.

"Its g-"Riley was cut off.

"Say its ganna be okay again and I'm going to kick you where the sun don't shine!"Julie said.

"Okay then..."Riley said.

Julie sighed and sat on the edge of the roof,her legs dangling over the side.She felt a few tears fall from her face.She knew soething had to be wrong,and something in the pit of her stomach told her something was wrong with Silver.She stopped herself from continuing to cry.
 
It had all happened so fast, one minutr he was frozen in fear the next, Angel had swooped in and returned him to there hotel room with her flying capabilities, however it was quite the bumpy landing as she seemed to catch her right wing on the window and the two were sent flying onto the blood soaked bed, she stood up hissing in pain, she seemed to refuse to let go of Josh up to this point, in which she walked to a clean bed and put him on it."Ugh. This is soooo not my day. I had enough blood on me the first time, I do not need to be soaked in my own blood twice in one day.", she said. Josh just sat there a fearful expression on his face, Angels lilac eyes turned to him full of concern. "You didn't get hurt, did you?" she asked as she got him and herself a cherry coke each, she then put her left hand on her damaged wing which healed miraculously at her touch! "Much better" she said. "N...No Im fine" he replied partly shaky, from the experience and partly shocked from the miracle of healing he had just witnessed. Just then however the full intensity of the situation caught up with him, people with light and dark wings fighting each other, using magical weapons, and powers of healing? Josh knew of only one creature with these traits, Angels.
This time the shock was to much for Josh and he felt his stomach heave, he ran to the toilet just in time to get violently sick. He locked down at himself his clothes were torn his hand was cut and he was covered in the blood of an angel. He walked out of the bathroom his face pale, stained with tears and scarred with fear and sat down on the floor beside Angel, "Do me a favour..." he said. "...and please, please, tell me that this is all just a messed up dream..."
 
Angel looked up as the boy responded. She could feel his panic and fear. She also saw him run to the bathroom and be sick. He sat beside her, and he wanted her to tell him it was all a very messed up dream. She laughed quietly at that. "Honey, you have absolutly NO idea how much I would love to tell you that. Heck, I'd love to tell myself that and believe it.", She said. She looked at the cut on the boy's hand. She touched the cut with her fingertips, and her hand glowed a healing pink. To be healed by an angel, it feels warm. Comforting, safe. Like nothing will ever hurt you again. After about 2 minutes the cut was healed, like it had never been. "Ahhh,where to begin. I know your frightened. To be honest, I'm terrified. Let me start then by saying that this is not a dream. Everything you've seen and heard is 100% reality. Yes, we are angels. The 2 who were fighting are Alex, he had the really big black sword with the eye on it, and Raike, who had a sword as well. Rikki, the girl who gave you the phone, is in the hospital right now. She and Alex had a little tiff. There are currently 5 of us. Myself, Rikki, Julie...",she stopped."Gold and Silver". Her lovely voice broke as she said the last. *Gold? Are you both ok? What happened?*, she thought worriedly. "I'm very, truely sorry we've frightened you,little one.", she said. Her instinct to protect the young and vulnerable was raging at her. She wanted to hug him and tell him it'd be alright. She couldn't guarrentee that it would be alright. Nothing would ever truly be alright.

Angel looked at him and laughed.

"Honey, you have absolutly NO idea how much I would love to tell you that. Heck, I'd love to tell myself that and believe it." she said.

She looked down at the cut, she touched it with her fingertips and it started to glow pink, suddenly a wave of calm, warmth and comfort washed over him it was like nothing would ever hurt again, and two minutes later the cut was healed, like magic, although Josh supposed it was magic to begin with.

"That, that was incredible I feel better physically and mentally...wow..." Josh said the intense ammount of wonder and awe clearly pronounced in his voice. He was truly shocked, but thankful to be so.

Angel began to talk again. "Ahhh,where to begin. I know your frightened. To be honest, I'm terrified. Let me start then by saying that this is not a dream. Everything you've seen and heard is 100% reality. Yes, we are angels. The 2 who were fighting are Alex, he had the really big black sword with the eye on it, and Raike, who had a sword as well. Her voice cracked as she said there names.
And then he heard another voice like the ones from his sleep, but the strange thing was it was Angels voice he heard.

*Gold? Are you both ok? What happened?* her voice was full of worry.

"I'm very, truely sorry we've frightened you,little one." she said she seemed to be full of worry.

"Wait, did you say something a moment ago something about somebody being in trouble?" Josh asked, hoping she wouldn't think he was insane. "And more importantly if your angels, then why are you fighting or moreso why are you here? Shouldn't you be in like heaven or whatever? And why didn't that Raike guy have wings?!?" Josh was getting desperate for answers, how did he get caught up in all this, why could he hear these voices, why did he run away from home in the first place he missed his Mother, he missed his friends, and now he felt like he might never see them again, oh great he could feel the tears coming again but he desperately tried to hold them in.
 
Angel shook her head, her raven black hair flinging over her shoulder. *How odd. I never said a thing about two of us being in trouble. I asked Gold....mentally. Oh. My. God. He's a mind reader?! Wha-how-why-whaaa?!?*Angel thought. She took a deep breath. *You can understand my thoughts, can't you?* She asked him tentatively. "Remarkable", she murmered. *Gold, Is Silver ok? What in Almighty's name is going on out there?!*, She thought. Something was very, very wrong. "First of all, you need to calm down. You humans are certianly a very curious species.", She said. "There is a war going on between the kingdom I come from, The Darkness Kingdom and the Light Kingdom. The battle you saw out there? That's simply a little sword fight. It's child's play. The war has killed so many of us. Many of us have lost our parents. More specificly, me. I don't like to dwell on it. 10 years is enough time to suffer from grief. Raike isn't full-blooded angel. Hence,no wings. I don't even know if he IS any part angel.", She said. The boy was going to cry. She hugged him gently. "You'll see your mother and friends again. I promise. Even if it's the last thing I do.", She said quietly. She felt bad for the boy. He was so confused. To keep herself busy she let go, and got up. She started digging through her pack, hoping to find..."Dang. Thought I had packed some. Guess not.", She said. She took out her sword and noted that it needed to be cleaned. She took out a cleaning cloth and a whet stone, grabbed her sword and sat back down. She un-sheathed the sword easily. She shook her head. "How did it get so dirty so quick?", she wondered. She cleaned it and polished it. She then began to sharpen it, moving with the precision and ease of a swordsman long used to sharpening a blade. She sang Listen to your heart by DHT as she worked, never missing a word. She was putting the singer to shame.

Josh was confused, Angel was looking at him and he could here her voice but she only moved her lips when she said "remarkable". *My God* he thought *Could it be true, can I read minds?....*

He could here Angel think again she was using some form of telapathy to communicate with Gold she was asking him if he was alright he could tell she was getting worried.

Angel began to speak aloud again. "First of all, you need to calm down. Talk of parents made Josh feel overwhelmed again and was starting to cry but Angel comforted him, by giving him a hug. "You'll see your mother and friends again. I promise. Even if it's the last thing I do." she said quietly, almost whispering it. That made him feel better.

Josh said nothing in reply he was thinking *these angels* he thought *are fighting for some reason he could get hurt if he stuck around, but out of every living creature in the world he could only hear their thoughts....he wanted to get to the bottom of this and maybe helping these angels was the only way to do it.*

"You said or more you thought to your friend Gold using telepathy or something, and it seems he and that other guy Silver I believe need help but they won't answer you... whats happened to them?"

Why did Josh ask well he had already decided that he wanted to help so maybe he could help with this, after all if things got hairy he could defend himself, he was an o.k. fighter, but than again they were angels, but he had to help them they were the only reason he wasn't alone on the streets of new york.
 
Angel accidently sliced her hand open. "Damn it", she said. She healed herself again. "Yes, they are in trouble, but it's something Gold should explain". *Whenever he gets back*, she thought. "You hungry? There's pizza in the fridge", she said.
 
(Ooc: Okay I give the H*** up I'm being ignored I'll post frequently again when I'm unignored.I don't know what I did but EVERYONE is ignoring me else I say something that makes them mad)

Julie flopped herself onto her back while she screamed into the sky out of frustration.

"No response?"Riley asked.

"What do you think Riley?"Julie asked.

"I think I was right."Riley said.

"I'm going to try to contact Angel."Julie said.

She stood up and focused on Rosie.When she was 99% sure that she found her,she sent her a message.

"Angel,whats going on?I can't get Gold to respond and I think theres something wrong with Silver."Julie said.

"Done?"Riley asked.

"Not quite."Julie replied.

Julie now focused on Silver.

"Silver whats wrong?Are you okay?I can't get Gold to respond.If you think its going to be a problem to let me know than just ignore this."Julie said.

When Julie laid back something fell out of her pocket.She picked it up and turned it over.It was her cell phone.She wondered if Silver had it with him.He probably didn't but it was worth a shot.She diled his number and waited for it to ring.
 
Angel was suprised to say the least whe Julie contacted her. *I have absolutly no idea what's going on. Neither Gold or Silver has contacted me in any way. I've got a bad feeling Julie. I think something very,very bad has happened to Silver. I can only hope I'm wrong, although I don't think I am. I'll keep you posted ok? As soon as I know something, I'll call you, I promise*, she thought.

"Whenever he gets back, eh? Remember I can hear your thoughts, and when would he get back, excactly?........And yes I'll take that pizza."

Suddenly he heard anothers thoughts, other than angels.

*Angel,whats going on?I can't get Gold to respond and I think theres something wrong with Silver.*the voice said.
a few moments later the voice spoke again but Josh assumed it wasn't directed here,
as he couldn,t hear it clearly however he did hear Silvers name.

Josh then heard Angel reply.
*I have absolutly no idea what's going on. Neither Gold or Silver has contacted me in any way. I've got a bad feeling Julie. I think something very,very bad has happened to Silver. I can only hope I'm wrong, although I don't think I am. I'll keep you posted ok? As soon as I know something, I'll call you, I promise*.

While Angel was distracted Josh slipped out the door, he had to help the angels somehow, and it was obvious that he wasn't going to be able to help anyone from that room. Now that he was out he began to look at his options, Raike was fighting Alex faster than humanly possible so he couldn't help there, he didn't know where Julie,Gold or Silver were so that rules them out so that left.....Rikki, she was in the hospital, so thats where he would.

It was about 12:30 A.M. when Josh arrived, he immediately saw Rikki lying on a stretcher in a room near the entrance, he walked over.

"So yeah...When you offered to share rooms you could've mentioned you were an angel." He said with a smirk.

Rikki heard someone come in and lifted herself up a little. It took her a minute to figure out who it was. It was the human from earlier. She looked at him, confused for a minute, then shook her head.

"Someone's got a big mouth." she mumbled. "And I'm a Darkness Angel. There's a difference." she sighed.

She sat up completely, still sore from the fight. "And we aren't really suppose to go around telling people who were are. This word would go into a frenzy." she looked over to the window, a little bit worried. "Those two better get this done soon, or I'm gonna end it for 'em." she said, laying back down, her arm beginning to hurt again.

(OOC: Meh, short post!! I try not to do that too often)
 
"judging by the condition your in your not fit to be ending anything" Josh said.
"Sigh.....listen Rikki your probably wondering why Im here...well you angels or dark angels or whatever seem to be affecting me, for some reason ever sice I've met you Angels I,ve been hearing voices, fragments at first and only in my sleep, but earlier this night I realised that what I was hearing was your kind of ummmm....Angelic telepathy, for lack of the correct term, and so I,ve come to the conclusion that I didn't meet you by chance, oh no something brought me here, something pulled me towards you angels and now I realise that in order to better understand what has happened to me, what I must do is help you, and aswell as that I believe I owe it to you to help, I mean I haven't known any of you a full day yet and you've already prevented me from sleeping on the streets and saved my life.Do you understand?
Well if you do or not it doesn't matter. Can you walk? or do I have to carry you because either way your injured and theres a fight just around the corner, so Im getting you out of here."

Josh was sure now and saying it aloud just confirmed it! His sudden ability to read minds, how he ran away from home against his good judgement, how something in the back of his mind told him to turn around and go to the hotel where the angels were staying back when he had just arrived in New York and how he came into contact with angels at all, all of it had happened for a reason and he was going to find out what that reason was. But first things first, the sun was starting to come up and he didn't want to be here when a normal person saw the two of them fighting outside.
 
Rikki smirked, but nodded anyway. "You humans are rather interesting." she said, pulling her covers back. She brought her legs to the edge of the bed, careful as not to hurt herself as she had done before. "And if I must, I will freeze their insides to make them stop."

She got to her feet, still feeling a bit woozy, but she managed to shake it off long enough to get a good grip on the railing. That fight had knocked quite a bit out of her, but she wasn't about to let some stupid injury stop her from getting on with things. She still had a mission to accomplish. She looked at the kid.

"I can manage myself well, I've been doing it for years. In my current state, using my powers could very well get me killed, but if I have to interfere, do not doubt for a minute that I won't." she said, grabbing her jacket, which someone had put off to the side, and put it on. She pulled her hair out from under it and crossed her arms.

"I'm trusting those two to take care of themselves, but I expect Raike too return soon, or they're gonna have an angry Angel on their hands," she said smirking, "And believe me, no one wants that." with that she started walking towards the door. "If we're going, then come on kid, I've got a few questions for ya."
 
"Well unfortunately for you I won't be letting you out of my sight so, no I dont believe you'll be getting involved"Josh said "and really you have questions for me?" Josh remarked as sarcastically as possible as he and Rikki walked towards the door.
"Well Miss Dark Angel I'll trade with you, questions for questions, I'll go first. One, why are you here why did you angels and dark angels come to Earth, two, If your a dark angel why are you working with light angels? and three, how did you wind up in hospital, in the first place?"

Josh then stopped walking, looking Rikki in the eye waiting for an answer.
 
Rikki sighed. "That's a lot of questions kid. But before I answer any of those," she sent a glare at him, "You're a kid, what are you gonna do if I try to get involved in that fight?" she asked smirking, and crossing her arms.

Then she thought back to the questions. "Since you're with us for a while, I guess I can answer, no point hiding any of it now. Well, for once, the reason we're here is, we're looking for the heir to the Darkness Kingdom. Simple as that. The answer to question two-" she stopped for a minute, leaning against the wall, "It wasn't intentional. We needed the help, and they were our only option. And question number three. I challenged Alex, that guy fighting the human, to a battle, and well, I got my butt kicked. Alex is a Darkness Angel as well. We just. . . .aren't on the same team anymore."

She sighed, looking at the ground. After a minute, she looked back at the kid. "Does that answer all of your questions?" she asked.
 
"Yes that should do for now, also I dont think Im going to be staying for just "a while" Im staying until you find this "Heir of Darkness" or whatever, and about what I would do to stop you getting involved, well perhaps you angels have affected me physically aswell as mentally, I just don't know it yet, and if it has I will use every ounce of it to stop you, understood?"Josh said the slight hint of a threat in his voice apparent.

"Anyway"He continued."you said you had a few questions for me?"
 
Rikki shook her head. "I'd like to see you try kid. I control water. I could boil your blood to the point where it'll burst out of your skin. Believe me, I've done it." she showed him her bandaged arm, which was at this point, still rather sore.

"As for my own questions. I'll start it with this. What in the holy heavens is a human kid doing loitering a hotel on his own? I mean, I know how big of a pain in the ass parents can be, but you could get yourself seriously hurt. If you hadn't run into us, what were you gonna do? I don't think you'd make it very far on your own for very long. Nothing personal or anything, but for whatever reason you're on your own, it probably wasn't the smartest move you couldn't made." she said, crossing her arms.
 
"Id rather not talk about it its a very sensitive subjecct for me" Josh grumbled."I hope you understand."

They were just at the door when...

"AAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHH!!!" An insanely intense pain shot up through his spine and into his head. It was the worst pain he had ever felt and it just kept going.
"AAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHH!!!" He could only scream as he colapsed onto all fours in pain.
 
Rikki was going to be persistent on the subject, but she didn't really get the chance. The kid started screaming and fell to the floor. This shocked Rikki, as she had no idea what could have caused him to act this way. She got down on her knees beside him, putting a hand on his shoulder.

"Kid. What's wrong?" she asked, wincing a little at his screaming, and at the fact she was leaning on her injured arm.

She wasn't really good at comforting people, but she figured she could try. "Hey, kid. C'mon. It's okay. Tell me what's wrong, maybe I can help." she thought about mind searching him, but she was weak enough as it was, and didn't want to use her powers unless she absolutely had to.

She was, by now, actually worried about the kid. "Shhh, just calm down. What's wrong?" she asked again.
