They were caked with the blood of their only kin. They cried and held each other close, shaking. They were forced to kill their parents. Now they only had each other for family. They faced the man who forced them, taking form of a white wolf pup and a blond fox kit. Fury burned in them, and the man backed away, suddenly surprised, hands in the air as he took steps back, as the mob began to leave in a panic. No one had seen this before, and it scared them. The twin animals lunged at the man, fangs extended, both aiming for his throat. Suddenly, the memory began shaking, before it collapsed and they were in the real world again.
Silver could display no more. He had collapsed in on himself, hiding his face behind his legs, arms wrapped around his legs, shaking from severe crying.
~~~~~
Gold frowned and closed his eyes, a single, angry tear dripping.
"I'll finish the story, with words..."
He frowned at his brother. He closed his eyes and ran his fingers over the vertical scar over his right eye and most of his right face.
"We... We lost all control... There was nothing left of the man. The mob who had watched long enough to see what we did, were either institutionalized or commited suicide out of fear that we would hunt them down..."
Gold walked to the window and crossed his arms on the frame, watching outside. The sun was covered by clouds.
"We were completely rejected from all of light kingdom, but still expected to kill dark angels. We fled into the forest where we ended up living off of the land... Eventually, we were seperated. I stayed in the woods. Silver decided to still go to school, where he wanted to learn all he could. I visited once or twice, but I never stayed. I was done with the kingdoms already. I had been in the city, in disguise, when Silver sent me brain-mail,"
Gold was referring to Silver's telepathic mind-powers.
"About Angel. I have to say, I'm glad he did though. And I do want to join the rebels..."
"I'll join the rebels. I have nothing to say to the kingdoms anymore. Almighty is the only one I follow."
He picked up Angel off of the floor and held her close, frowning.
"The scars aren't bad though..."
He glanced at Silver, as if waiting for him to finish the sentence.
~~~~~
Silver was too far into depression now. But hiw mind projected his words while he cried and shook.
The scars are a constant reminder... Of the cruelty of the kingdoms... They're the reasons the revolution will conitnue... ... ... G-gold...
Gold's voice was over with Angel again.
"Yeah brother...?"
Silver was still shaking.
I m-miss mom...
Gold almost broke down right as he said that, but retained his emotions.
"Yeah... And I miss Dad..."
I do too...
"Yeah... Me too..."
Gold roughly wiped his tears off of his face, and he didn't face them as he climbed out the window.
"I'm gonna go for a walk," he said, unable to hide the shaking in his voice as he landed on the ground and began to walk, wings vanished, down the sidewalk, silent.
