Angel felt herself going forward and landing on her back. Gold was on top of her, his body was bigger than hers, so he pinned her easily. She was staring up at him, her eyes were loving and playful. She craned her head upward, licking him on his nose. She loved playing. She would have continued if her sunken-in right wing hadn't suddenly cramped up. She had to change back to her normal angel form. "Ow,ow,ow. Damn it!", she muttered under her breath. She flexed her right wing, easing the cramps until they were gone. "Why isn't it better? It shouldn't hurt like this.", she thought, not realizing she was thinking out-loud. "Maybe it healed wrong. Or maybe I tore some tendons and muscles". She was worried now.

Rikki shook her head, keeping her eyes locked on the sky. "I keep everyone at arms length. Everyone, included Angel and Alex. I did it for my own good, and theirs as well." she sighed. "But she left so easily. Like Alex and I meant nothing to her at all. I don't understand, we're a team. We've all been together since we were born, give or take a year or two." she put her head in her hands.

She clenched her fists again, looking back up. "Am I really that bad to be around? I know I can be mean and all, but-" she cut herself off. "I don't know why I care. I've lived my entire life not giving a crap what any one thinks of me, and at first, Angel's betrayal didn't bother me. She was just a traitor. But now I'm starting to feel. . . bad. Like I'm not good enough anymore."

Rikki sighed, pushing her hair back and wiping at her eyes. "I didn't need to say all of that, did I?" she shrugged. "Oh well, it's been said." she sighed again, turning her head to face him.

(sorry I was gone again,I had to go somewhere with my mom)

Julie woke up.

"I don't know about Gold,but I think its nice."Julie said and standed up."I'm ganna go change."

Julie went and changed.She walked out in a pink dress (on the verge of being hot pink but not quite) with a light purpel jaket and light pink wedge sandles.She had her pink and purple hair straitened.She had a light pink headband in her hair,and finished the look with a hot pink purse that goes over her shoulder and the actual bag is on the other side.

"I envy your looks Rosie,you look so much better than me."Julie said.

"What do you think Silver?"

Alex observed as the two headed to the rooftops. He wondered what they would talk about, but put it out of his mind. What Alex was concentration on was trying to learn to play the guitar instrument, and he has been steadily improving. Well, that and getting the heir and getting back home. Alex paused for a second as his hand burned. He took it off the guitar and observed the palm. There, the same eye that appeared on his sword was on his hand. All at once, a projection was shown of a man in a black cloak, standing in Alex's palm, right above the eye. This was his sword's face. After all, it had life in it as well, and it frequently visits him when they are alone like this. Adamanta said nothing at first, just taking in the sites. Alex spoke to him finally.

"You didn't have to destroy that whole room, you know."

The man responded in a low voice, "How else was I supposed to display our immense strength? You should let me out more, I would do so much more damage."

"
No, thanks. I prefer to actually be able to sleep somewhere nice." Alex laughed a bit. The man Adamanta smiled as well. Although he was still only a sword to some, to Alex, he was more than that. He was his greatest treasure, his greatest companion, his partner, and his friend.

"The woman angel shoots flames and ice, and the man has many different sword styles. Did you see? He was clearly a master....I will look forward to fighting him again soon."

"
Don't get your hopes up, I'm not planning on it."

Adamanta frowned. "You always ruin my fun." With that, the projection disappeared and the eye on Alex's palm closed and disappeared. Alex picked up his guitar again and continued to mess with it.

Silver smiled at her kindly, head slanted just a bit, almost entranced by her beauty.

"Truly wonderful."

He pulled her down to him and held her, behind her, resting his head over her shoulder.

"You didn't answer my question, and I apologized for that night..." (Go look back a few posts)

He held her close, hoping she wasn't mad at him for yelling that night.

~~~
Gold sighed and immediately got off seeing she was injured. They both turned human-form, and he cast a spell on her wings.
"It'll be just like new in five minutes..."
He said after casting, then hugged her, careful to avoid hurting her more.
-Raike nodded, acknowledging what she had said. He then sat down beside her, and put a hand on her shoulder. He hadn't had any friends really, besides those few, but not childhood friends. Still he felt that he could relate. He didn't give a damn about what people said about him, but he only cared about himself.-
"Honestly you did give me hell when I first got here. But you didn't kick me out, but I suppose you have your own reasons for that."
-He paused for a moment, coughing before continuing.-
"It's good to vent sometimes you know, to release all that pent up anger or frustrations, feelings basically. That's why I have my ipod. Listen, what I am trying to get at, is that your not a bad person. Your vicious, yes, but lovable."
-As he said this he put a comforting arm around her shoulder, feeling very awkward while doing so.-
(I didn't see your posts sorry Julie'll fix it)
"Its fine Silver.I should have thought how you probably felt about not meeting your parents."Julie said.
Julie hugged him.She wished she hadn't got mad at him,and she should have brought the parent thing up.The one thing that still lingered in her mind is how he said no one would know or care if he was dead.dead...She never liked that word.Expecially the thought of Silver being dead.
Rikki blushed a little. She wasn't used to being so close to anyone. Sure, she had hugged Alex earlier, but she had felt very awkward about it, so this was a bit more embarrassing, considering she didn't know Raike too well.
"I wish someone would tell all of them that." she said, thinking back on all of the other Dark Angels. "From the moment I was born they didn't like me. I was different, I could do something they couldn't. Mostly though, some of them were scared." she sighed. "Trainer said I needed help, that I was dangerous without control. And he was right. I had to learn to control my powers and my feelings, because they both act as one." she turned her head to look at him.
"Every living thing is made up of water, blood counts as well. If I had gotten mad enough, if I had really wanted to harm someone, I could kill them easily. Just boil the blood." she shook her head. "But I'm not a monster. I may be reckless, and I may fight to make myself feel better, but one thing I am not, is a monster. I would never kill anyone unless I absolutely had no choice. If they were threatening my life, or one of my companions, I would do anything in my powers to stop them, no doubt about it."
Gold thought he had hurt her. Angel hugged him. "You didn't hurt me, Gold. I was trying to land in a room and my right wing clipped the windowsill and I crash-landed on the floor. I was being stupid, I hadn't thought of the window being a bit on the small side", she admitted. She then went and kissed Gold, fearless now. After a few moments she stopped. She blushed and was suddenly very interested in the bed cover.
"I hope I didn't hurt you..."
He frowned as he let go of her, sensing her guilt lingering with his.
"I shouldn't have snapped..."
He cringed as he rubbed his fingers lightly across his scar, stopping when he heard Gold sigh.
"You still do that brother?" Gold chuckled as he said it, but the was an unmistakable sense of worry behind it.
"Don't judge."
Silver replied quietly, tracing his scar once more.
He closed his eyes as he drew his fingers across the scar again. A faint image appeared in his head, of his parents. He jolted, eyes flying back open, when Gold smacked his hand down, stopping him from touching the scar.
"Enough!" Gold said a bit irritantly. "You know it won't bring them--"
Silver growled and glared at Gold, surprising him a bit and interupting him.
"I know it won't bring them back!! I-it helps me... Remember them..."
Gold groaned and walked away, back to Angel, who's wings were healed by now.
Silver had closed his eyes and began running his fingers across the scar, again, trying to picture his parents.
Obviously, there was significance behind the scars, the scars that the twins always refused to talk about.
Suprised was an understatement for what Angel felt. She glared at Gold. "What is wrong with him remembering your parents? It helps him. So leave him be!", she said, her voice low and angry. "You two aren't the only ones who've lost parents." She got her sword and held it. "I saw my parents killed. I heard their screams, their pleas for mercy. I was covered in blood because the blood sprayed everywhere..", she said. "I only have this sword left. I spend so much time cleaning it. It calms me. My father taught me how to clean it and use it a little. I miss them. Everyone has their ways of remembering their lost loved ones. There's no reason to be judgmental, Gold". A tear fell onto the sword.
Gold was startled by her sudden anger. But then began to feel his own as she talked about watching her parents die. He fought himself not to growl at her.
"That's nothing,"
He glared irritatedly. Gold looked at Silver who sighed and said,
"Maybe it's time we told someone what happened..."
~~~~~

Silver watched Gold sit on the foot of the bed and nod. Silver focused his energy, and suddenly, they were all watching projected memory, like they were there.

Two little twin boys, who looked about 4 or 5, and were unmistakably Gold and Silver, were in a corridor of light kingdom's torture dungeon. A mob was forcing them into a room, the door closing behind.

The king and queen were chained on their knees in a dank, stone room. The smell of blood and agony was overwhelming. The boys looked at each other in confusion and fear, this was the first and only time they ever saw their parents. They knew right away who the prisoners were, and they ran up to hug their parents. A mob member knocked them both on their faces and stopped them. He handed the white-haired child two small knives, and the blond-haired boy a sword. He snarled in their faces and pointed at the prisoners.

"Do it! kill them!" He almost spat as he spoke. He pushed the boys in front of their parents with weapons. Silver was bawling and dropped the knives and buried his head in his tiny hands.

"M-mommy..." he whimpered through tears, Silver was hugged for the first time by his mother, and Gold by his father. The man screamed at them.

"Fine! For that, your parents will see something they'll never forget before dying!"

He pulled a switchblade and swung at the twins, marking across Silver's face, and down the right side of Gold's. The parents squealed as they were forced to watch. He shoved the bleeding children forward with their weapons.

"DO IT!!" he spat. The boys shut their eyes tightly as he shoved their arms forward, forcing them to kill mom and dad.

Tears were flowing freely now, Angel's ability to feel others emotions let her feel their pain like it was her own. She bowed her head and started throwing up. She thankfully hadn't eaten yet, so it was just dry-heaving. She cried. She cried as the blade bit into Silver's and Gold's skin, feeling the searing pain and the blood running down their faces. She cried as she watched their parents die, watched as they were forced to kill their parents leaving them orphaned at such a young age. "I...I-I'm s-so...sorry...oh god..I d-didn't think...I'm s-sorry!", she managed. She felt so stupid. "Gold...I-I'm so s-sorry". Her entire body was shaking from the force of the emotions. Her parents death seemed peaceful in comparison. She hid her face behind her wings, her hair was back to black, and it was down, covering one half of her face.

They were caked with the blood of their only kin. They cried and held each other close, shaking. They were forced to kill their parents. Now they only had each other for family. They faced the man who forced them, taking form of a white wolf pup and a blond fox kit. Fury burned in them, and the man backed away, suddenly surprised, hands in the air as he took steps back, as the mob began to leave in a panic. No one had seen this before, and it scared them. The twin animals lunged at the man, fangs extended, both aiming for his throat. Suddenly, the memory began shaking, before it collapsed and they were in the real world again.

Silver could display no more. He had collapsed in on himself, hiding his face behind his legs, arms wrapped around his legs, shaking from severe crying.

~~~~~
Gold frowned and closed his eyes, a single, angry tear dripping.
"I'll finish the story, with words..."
He frowned at his brother. He closed his eyes and ran his fingers over the vertical scar over his right eye and most of his right face.
"We... We lost all control... There was nothing left of the man. The mob who had watched long enough to see what we did, were either institutionalized or commited suicide out of fear that we would hunt them down..."
Gold walked to the window and crossed his arms on the frame, watching outside. The sun was covered by clouds.
"We were completely rejected from all of light kingdom, but still expected to kill dark angels. We fled into the forest where we ended up living off of the land... Eventually, we were seperated. I stayed in the woods. Silver decided to still go to school, where he wanted to learn all he could. I visited once or twice, but I never stayed. I was done with the kingdoms already. I had been in the city, in disguise, when Silver sent me brain-mail,"
Gold was referring to Silver's telepathic mind-powers.
"About Angel. I have to say, I'm glad he did though. And I do want to join the rebels..."
"I'll join the rebels. I have nothing to say to the kingdoms anymore. Almighty is the only one I follow."
He picked up Angel off of the floor and held her close, frowning.
"The scars aren't bad though..."
He glanced at Silver, as if waiting for him to finish the sentence.
~~~~~

Silver was too far into depression now. But hiw mind projected his words while he cried and shook.

The scars are a constant reminder... Of the cruelty of the kingdoms... They're the reasons the revolution will conitnue... ... ... G-gold...

Gold's voice was over with Angel again.

"Yeah brother...?"

Silver was still shaking.

I m-miss mom...

Gold almost broke down right as he said that, but retained his emotions.

"Yeah... And I miss Dad..."

I do too...

"Yeah... Me too..."

Gold roughly wiped his tears off of his face, and he didn't face them as he climbed out the window.

"I'm gonna go for a walk," he said, unable to hide the shaking in his voice as he landed on the ground and began to walk, wings vanished, down the sidewalk, silent.

Angel had been given a rude awaking. Her eyes turned a sad, dull blue. She had never cried so much in her life. Or felt something that strong and traumatizing. She found that her songs were useless against this kind of pain. She had lost all interest in singing, and it showed. Her tears finally stopped. She wanted nothing more than to hold Gold, but she thought he was mad at her. So she sat, shivering from the force of what she'd just felt and seen, feeling alone even though there were three other people in the room. "Gold..", she started, her voice quiet. "Are you mad at me? I'm sorry for what I said. Truly I am. I don't want you mad at me...I have enough people mad at me." she looked at Gold, her lilac eyes apologetic. She followed Gold, unable to stop herself. She placed her hand on his arm lightly. "Gold?", she asked, tentatively, afraid he was going to yell at her for following him and wanting to do what she could to comfort him. "You've suffered more than anyone should have to suffer. I..I want to help you, if I can". Her fears were clear. She was afraid of losing him. "Just tell me what, or if I can do anything."

Gold knelt down before her, picked up her hands in his, and kissed her.

"Of course I'm not mad at you... I... I need to go for a long walk right now..."

He left, ignoring the strange looks from humans as he passed.

(You must have missed the second part of the post before. Re-read please)

(My laptop is being evil, so I didn't see the second part. Sorry :( )

Angel watched Gold walk away after kissing her. She sent him a thought *Please,be careful Gold...I love you. And when you get home I'll have a suprise for you.* She mentally giggled. *I think your going to like it a lot.* She flew back up into the room, and saw Silver on the floor, crying. She sat next to him. She had never seen him so upset, so she didn't know what to/ not to say or do. She hoped her presence would calm him a tiny bit. She simply waited, picking the dead feathers out of her wings and placing them in a neat pile beside her.

-Raike snickered silently. This girl was willing to risk her own life for her comrades. This was harder for Raike to understand, as he only took care of himself, not really requiring or desiring other people's help. No one had really offered to help him anyway.-

" I wouldn't know what feels like, sorry. I don't really work with others at all, this would be my first time. So I find it hard to make the decision to lay my own life down, for those who wouldn't even give a second thought about me dissapearing from existence. You guys would probably want that right? I mean all I have done is take up couch space, and be a hinderance."

Gold was intruiged but clueless of what she meant by 'surprise'. He sighed and continued down the path, ignoring human oddity around him. He ended up circling in multiple areas, distracted by his thoughts. It was a long walk, probably a good hour, before he came back and reclined on the bed, remembering Angel talk about a 'surprise', his curiosity starting to pick at his mind. What could that possibly be?

~~~~~
Silver hugged Julie close. She had not yet said anything about the story, or about anything at all. He slept in her arms, exhausted by his horrible memories. He awoke an hour later, when Gold returned, and was now laying against the bed, mind probably wandering about something. Silver didn't pry, though. He didn't read thoughts unless he had good reason to. He lifted his head after sleeping in Julie's arms for an hour. Was she going to talk to him now?
Silver couldn't hide his grief that still remained, but he looked to Julie in silence.
(miley gots to post :/)
Angel knew the moment Gold had returned. She had changed into her favorite pajamas, which was a silk nightgown that reached down to her knees. It showed off her curves beautifully, and was still modest. It was a sapphire-blue color. Her long hair flowed to her lower back. She smelled like strawberries and raspberries. She walked out and un-folded her wings. "Well, how does it look?", she asked. "And before you go and get the wrong idea about this, I meant I wanted your opinion", she clarified. "If it makes you uncomfortable, I can go change again." She waited for him to answer.
