Alex's eyes widened again when one of the angels was coming right at them. He wondered who it was, and what they were doing. Travis just smiled at the coming site. Once it was close enough, Alex could see that it was Angel. No, damn it, what are you doing, Angel, he thought to himself. Angel spoke.
"I come bearing no weapons or shields. I know you intend to kill me, so I decided to make it easier on everyone involved. I wish to die peacefully, if at all possible Alex."
Alex screamed at her, "What are you doing Angel?! Get away, you silly girl!" But it was too late. Travis spread his wings, drew his sword and flew over to Angel, he thrust his blade deep into her stomach.
Alex could only watch as Angel was pierced by his brother. Travis looked back at Alex and smiled, not an evil smile, but just an apparent smile. If he had never seen Travis in action before, he would appear to be just a nice person, but that couldn't be further from the truth. Alex shook his head and looked away. He was prepared for this, but Angel was still once his friend, so seeing it done before his eyes was still a bit of a shock.
Travis kept smiling, and spoke. "Well, that was easier than I thought. Wouldn't it be something if all we had to do was simply wait as they came to us one-by-one and we cut them down like hay?"
Alex shrugged. He wondered what would happened now.
