If you want there to be a VIP forum only MOTM, you have to take the initiative to making it happen. While suggesting it here may be something appropriate, it doesn't mean it'll happen. You have to make something happen. Even if it means you become a demanding and relentless person. But most supporters are already relentless and rather demanding, so you shouldn't have a problem!

...I'm just sayin'.
 
This is certainly what I am attempting to do thus far. I'm not gonna like...flood a whole bunch of staffies with PMs unless I seriously absolutely positively have to in order to get things done around here...But yeah, a supporter only MOTM wouldn't be too shabby either, and we could even vote in non-supporters, making all the supporters be the limited jury on who should get voted as MOTM. :p

What I need to hear is that I have staff backing on these sorts of ideas, so that emblems can be properly awarded to the winners of such things like MOTM, or whatever other contest we choose to run. And if you want to ask us to design and submit the emblem too, let us know so we can arrange that and get it done! x3

Opening up to Tier 2 wouldn't do any harm.

Regarding a moderator, I don't think that's neccessary. Supporters tend to be more well-behaved than the average member and this forum isn't quite active anyway.
I haven't seen any admins or s-mods complain that VIP Forum is too much to moderate. Rukario even seems to think there's nothing wrong with this forum.

I vote we just get rid of the forum.

(And our names go back to being PURPLE. Stupid people that had it changed. The only reason I donated was for my PURPLE name.)

I like this idea a lot, even if we have to count the dern votes ourselves!
Nica, if you don't wish to start the thread once we get the clear go, (Which I think Steve has already given us...) I will do it, and it'll be so that only supporters vote in it...and umm I'll poke Erica to give the winner of the Member of the Month category an emblem when it's all said and done. XD

It's been awhile since I've seen you around Greg...don't think the new name fooled me. XD

There was discussion awhile back about whether we vote for a new supporter color, but I dunno what came of it. >_>

There was even a debate about whether supporters get to choose their own color individually, but it was decided that it would be unfair to the staff members and it would involve too many different usergroups being made. >_<

I'm immune to Cherrims so yeah, not immune to lightning but Erica isn't scary. She's pretty friendly to me. :3

The whole idea of a VIP forum is to only let a few people see it... isn't it? One day, there will surely be something worth talking about that the normal mortal people must not hear about.

Or maybe not. But still. But I like the idea of speshul votings and contests for supporters :3

I miss the purple usernames as well. The blue got old real fast.

It made a lot of sense to use that purple as well, compared to this blue. Seeing as how Steve's username is a shade of purple and he deals with the donations and server costs and all, it makes... sense. You know?
 
Indeed it made sense, but I always felt we'd be mistaken by some newbie as junior administrators or something like that. x3

This is primarily why I voted for pink, when we were choosing colors. Pink wouldn't have been so old, and if people hadn't been obsessing over the stupid 'Pink is a girls color' stereotype, it would have certainly won.

I somewhat liked the green usernames, that were the norm before we instituted the supporter tier system. I'm one of the few whom actually donated to get a green username back then. :3

(And back then, all you got was the colored username)
 
I remember that time before tiers too, though when I first donated I was indeed purple. I wouldn't any colour so much as long as I don't lose my italics. I wuv my italics. <3

I do remember there was a few during that color debate who abhorred the green color that was before the purple and refused to have it again.
