I am also quite religous and can quite truthfully say that I am not afraid of death in the least. So, Blaine, you were wrong, not everyone is afraid of death. There are those secure in their religous beliefs that firmly believe in a higher being who has a special placed prepared for them.

I believe that we are all afraid of death in so form or fashion. And yes, I have tried to commit suicide though I don't find this topic very suitable for some of the younger members. It's up to the mods but... -shrugs- Death is the end of the beginning in our lives so thought the Egyptians... So many different views are there on death, however. I don't know really... But each person is granted a hundred years to do as they wish... That's all I can saw truthfully about the matter.

Perhaps your mind says that but it may be you heart contradicts that belief. In my perspective, I find every being fearful of the day the are to perish. It all depends on your viewpoint.

I'm not afraid of death, but what I am really afraid of is the consequences of death.(eg. people mourning or being depressed afterwards, since I don't know how people/family think about me...) And your life would be rather wasted if it's too short, won't it?

I'm kinda scared of death..... x.x Whenever i think about it , and how after your dead you'll never have another life , never. Once your dead you never come back and thats it , for eternity. It really scares me and makes me kinda sad aswell. I don't like thinking about it at all ;__; I don't want to die. Oh and i have never tried to commit suicude its not worth it for a start , and i love life anyway ^^

Yes, I have thought of death before, but no, I've not once pondered the thought of suicide. I'm familiar with the whole concept of death though, but I'm not gonna reveal in a public forum how I'm so familiar with it. And for those who think suicide may solve all the problems, it actually doesn't. Call me a walking talking cliche, but suicide solves nothing. If you believe in God, Godesses or any of those other things, or you don't believe in anything at all, its common sense to know that killing yourself is dumb. Not only is it the coward's way out of their problems, but it begins problems for everyone else. I mean, I could sit here and say it is going to get better, but for some people, it isn't going to get better, and I know that. But killing yourself ain't gonna solve anything.

As for death itself, no I am not afraid of it, nor will I ever be. I could die today, tommorrow, or 90 years from now, I would still die in the end, so there is really nothing to fear about the whole concept of death itself. Just enjoy life while you still can, and don't think about suicide or any of that stuff, live a happy life people, that's really all I can say.

It?s not easy for everyone to live a happy life IMO. Some people are clinically depressed and really battle the thought of suicide every day. Even surrounded with friends and so on, it?s just not the same for them. It doesn?t mean they should fold to it, but that those around them should really try their hardest. You wouldn?t want to tell their mom you didn?t give 100% to stop them from killing themselves.
