Diamond/Pearl/Platinum hacking

it can mean just one thing------your rom isnt pokemon
because i try with trauma center and if i choose any sprite i doesnt appear

and if i choose pokemon pearl all the sprites appear execpt professor
 
Where can you find PokeText and PokePicDS?

Do you wanna find does in the rom? I don't think overworlds like that is in dp, But you could try to look at some spriters work. I know some guy named Samson did som DP ow in the sprite part of the forum...

We have barely scratched the surface of DP Map Hacking. :( gabe_k has gotten the furthest, but still hasn't gotten THAT far. :)

Please DO read the whole topic, it's almost nothing but people asking this question. anyway, in awnser, i have found how to hack maps, there's still alot i don't know though. I made a video of my map hack here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlGuo0MW974
 
there was a diamond hack released on gba temp where you could catch all pokemon. and pokespam is my d/p hacking team

when will you release this tool? Because, i want to make my own all Pokemon hack.

i would, but i don't have it right now :( darthatron is the only one who has it right now.

anyway, for mapping i've actualy docoded quite abit :D
 
If we get that tool for editing what pokemon show up on routes plus the trainer editing tool mentioned earlier in the thread I see... potential. By which I mean making Diamond the way it should have been(changign the route pokemon+evolutions to make all 493 catcheable) and by making trainer battles more interesting...
 
Gabe, this weekend, mind showing me the basics of how you're doing this map hacking, if I can get a hold of you at GU?

Do you think we could contact the creator of this topic, and see if he'll allow us to PM him edits for the first post? That way people could keep tabs on what's been done, and what hasn't... Good idea? :)

Quick Search -> PokeTEX

PokeTEX is great if not the best Sprite hacking available. We were talking about it a day ago. I just wonder if there is a program that allows you to extract and convert .poke files.
 
that what i was thinking.
i have poke tex and i know how use it, but i was thinking to do sprites like the shinygold trainer or import sprites to the program
 
I think he means he would like to import his own custom .bmp, etc. files into PokeTEX, Darksun. I would check the readme.txt in the compressed archive you got when you initially downloaded PokeTEX... Also, I would check the topic specified for PokeTEX.
