4th Gen Diamond / Pearl Q&A Thread

When I look at the summary for some of my pokemon, there is a colored shape on that first page.

1 of my Pokemon has a red star and the other has a black circle. what do those mean?

Red star means shiny I think and I dont know what a black circle is

What do the shapes underneath a Pokemon mean? Some of my Pokemon have all of them filled in and others just have one. I'm assuming they all mean different things?

The red star is for shininess, yes.

The black symbols are marks that you can place on Pokemon to make sorting Pokemon easier. For example, I could give all of my EV trained Pokemon a star, or all of my traded Pokemon a circle.

Personally, since there's six marks, I mark each pokémon's perfect IVs.
It's just a thought, and it helps me organize my Ditto.

Stark moutain, again

Okazy so I took buck through and he took the stone or whatever, so now what?? should something happen after the shaking of stark moutain?

Oh god....again.....look you have to go to the battle zone and come back later and in that room where the stone was a pokemon will be there, it is called heatran :)

You go to his home in the Survival Area and talk to him in his home, I believe he does something with the stone (give it to you, puts it back?). Either way, then you head back to the room where the stone was and there you'll find Heatran.

I never went to his house but I found heatran, think it also has to be at night :0

Quick question:

if a Pokemon gets the Effort Ribbon, does that mean that all 510 (or something like that) EVs are obtained?

Why is my Cresselia blue (I caught it like that while thinking that's normal) when it's supposed to be pinkish-purple?

No wonder everyone's so surprised when I use it in Wi-Fi battles...

The Cycling path, you only need to keep pressing up, it really saves your fingers hurting and it goes really fast!
