4th Gen Did any male Poke fans play as the girl in D/P/Plat?

I always choose Male Characters in games. But my Wife and Stepson tend to choose the opposite sex when playing games.
 
I don't think it matters how old you are..I'm 22 and I use the female sprite in Platinum. I also used it in Emerald and in Crystal. I don't see what the problem is. I just think Lucas looks terrible.
 
Yes sir, I actually just started a new Platinum game and I named my female the usual Dawn. Why? I never tried the female and I think Dawn is hot xD It has been fun playing as her. I usually choose Chimchar but this time I choose Turtwig to mix things up.
 
Heck, I've been playing as the girl in every game since Crystal. They always have the better character designs IMO.
 
I used the female character in Diamond, because I already used the male character in Pearl, and I was planning on using the male character in Platinum as well.
 
I dont really care about the Character sprites. But i have chosen Dawn ONCE. Never again. LOL. I hate her. Dunno why :P.
 
I'm playing as a girl right now, and I am a male. I just asked my sister what gender to be.
 
You'd be surprised by the amount of people who chose Dawn over Lucas. I guess it has to do with the fact that:

He's a stick.
He has an acorn head.
He also has a duck head.
He looks funny.
Dawn is better known then Lucas.
He's a fairly generic character.
He's not that charming.
He has a terrible taste in head-ware.

I'm a girl and used Lucas in Pokemon Pearl and Platinum and Dawn in Diamond. I'm not a big fan of Dawn so I didn't want to keep choosing her. Only did it so she could have her beloved Piplup....

In Pokemon Emerald I played as Brendan and Pokemon LeafGreen I played as Red. All the old games I didn't have a choice and with the upcoming release of HG/SS I'm going to use the male Gold..or his anime name known as Jimmy

The guy, erm, looked like a f*g, so I chose the girl.
In both times I played the game.

I played as the girl, I play as the girl in all the games where you can, even if I hate the girl, or what she looks like.
 
i usually play first as male on one version and then female in the other one. if there's a third version like the platinum i go back to play as a male.
 
Since I was born a female and going to die as one, I chose the female Dawn (even though I can't stand their hats -.-" )
