    Are you planning on pre-ordering platinum, or have you maybe done so already? I already have, mainly to get the giratina fig. I don't even LIKE figurines, but I still want that thing. :P
     
    It doesn't come out until May over in England, but I'm going to import a US copy when it comes out there. I wouldn't really want a Giratina figurine myself, so I'm not bothered if I miss out. ^_^
     
    Yes, I am planning on Pre-ordering one in the near future before it is released.
     
    I ordered the second gamestop had it. i plan on picking it up the second it comes out. The figurine isn't a big deal, but I'm going to pick up the strategy guide
     
    hopefully my mom preorders it for me like she said she would.

    i would pick the guide up too, but why not just use serebii or psypokes or marriland? They have walkthroughs for Platinum already, I think.

    For when I'm on car rides or such and can't get on a computer, I can just use the guide. Plus, I collect the guides of pokemon games.

    Haha, I never thought of the pokemon guides this way. They don't have as much info. as serebii like egg moves and stuff/ things most competitive battlers/breeders use but I guess they can still help. I don't know if I'ma get one with my English platinum as I already beat my Japanese one. I always thought the guides were kind of nooby only explaining to you the basics like functions of the daycare, pokemon types, nooby stuff etc. for those lil' eight year olds who want to learn.
     
    I actually preordered it yesterday on the way home from school. ^_^
     
    Yep, pre-ordered last Saturday.
    I didn't bother with the figurine.

    Now I'm holding my breath until the release data.
     
    Currently, pre-orders in the UK aren't out for Platinum, yet. But as for pre-ordering the American version of Platinum... I don't really know. I probably won't, because it'll likely show up in one of my local, most overlooked gaming stores ever.

    As for when the UK version is nearing release... probably not again. The Giratina figure-thing, to me, doesn't seem worth the time of pre-ordering the game to get it. That is to say if the UK actually gets the pre-order 'special offer'.
     
    Yep, I pre-ordered mine at gamestop almost two months ago and they didn't have the figurine in stock at the time but they said they'll have it on the release day
     
    I pre-ordered it about a week ago. I'm not really after the figure, so I guess I just did it because I had done it for Diamond, and so I ensure that I get a copy as soon as I can. Plus I'd rather have shelled out a chunk of the money already so I don't have to pay it all when I pick it up.
     
    I did, they gave me the figure which I gave to my sister who is Fascinated by it.
