Did your parents ever give you 'the talk'?

Ñupe! They pretty much left it to Sex Ed class. Which didn't really help either since I'm gay, but it's not like my parents would've told me how it works between two guys. >__>

Anyways...I sought out the information for myself.

Uhmmm, no. :/
I received Sex Ed. when I was in Class 6. The teacher separated the boys and girls, and we were shown a video on the subject of Puberty and stuff. It blew my young mind away. Of course my some of my friends' remarks and hysterical laughing did not allow me to concentrate as much as I wanted to, but I understood the concept. I don't remember my parents uttering even a single word about it.

No, I learned through common sense, friends and school. I'll have to say fallopian tubes is something I'll never forget. The word is so interesting D:

My mom gave me a book one day called "What's Happening to My Body? Book for Girls" when I was in third grade, and told me to read it. No warning of what was inside. I promptly brought it to school and showed all my friends. :3

Some girl when I was in 3rd or 4th grade had the same thing, more or less, and was showing more than just girls.. haha

My dad certainly wins points for creativity...he used a hardcore pr0n site as a visual aid when he gave me the sex talk.

It has had the unfortunate side-effect of giving me a lifelong repulsion to female anatomy. >_>

Hahaha. My roommate told me that's how his parents taught him looooooool.

As for me . . . I actually don't remember. Probably through sex education classes though. If my parents did give me the talk, I've forgotten about it.

I don't think so... I don't remember it if they did.

I learned about it in 5th grade... but I remember that I already know how it worked... somehow.

I'm not sure if I'd call that creative... >.>

Sex is a creative process. Thus using the 'prOn site' as a visual aid was doubly creative.

Nope.

I learned in 4th grade what it was, because two fellow students of mine decided to do a play in recess and she was teaching all the boys how to 'stick it in'. It was pretty weird. Then in sex ed. I learned more. I was pretty appalled, because when I was little, I knew animals did that, but I thought humans were different.

Nope, and I'm thankful for that. It would have been disturbing. I've learned it all myself, meaning from either my friends or the internet. If they had told me, a lot of the stuff doesn't even apply to me anyway XD.

Nope. Mine probably knew full well that I'd find this stuff out on my own sooner or later and just left me to grow up at my own pace.

I should probably elaborate. XD

I was like 12 by the time my dad got around to giving me the talk, and I had a fairly good grasp of the basics from sex ed classes in school. however, sex ed classes only give dry, scientific explanations of the mechanics. My dad thought that it would be a good idea to let me see what hot, passionate sex really looks like...thus the pr0n site. >_>

At least it's a step better than making me watch him and my mom go at it. >__<

I don't know, well, I don't think so. :(

I know I was given a book to read and I was like "lalala I don't want to know" and then in school when sex ed was on in year six, again "lalala I don't want to know" and studied spelling for that entire lesson. >____>;

In later years I eventually had to listen!
