Understood Otherworld. I just would like to know what's going on with everyone before I have to assume, y'know? In regards to Miley, I'm giving her till Monday before I have to remove her from the RP. I don't know where she is, and I don't want the RP to be held back from activity.
 
Due to Miley's absence, I am removing her from the RP and I am opening the SU's back up for her spot. If you guys know anyone who would be interested in applying, please feel free to ask around! Until then, I will be looking for a new character.

Would I be able to apply for this role? I was going to sign up at the beginning, but I had heaps of coursework to do. x_X

Would you prefer me to play a female character, or a male one? And is there an archetype you wish me to fill or can I go wild? (Will probably get something done tomorrow as I'm going out in an hour. :P)
 
It doesn't matter to me. Males can have female Digimon and vice versa. However, Lunamon IS a female Digimon so that won't change.
 
Hmm, so will we simply replace Makayla with his character or will we need to do some random thing to get him in and her out of the story?

Appearance: Kara is tall for a girl, standing at approximately 5'7''. Her body composition is deceiving, for she weighs a lot more than she looks ("Muscles, bro, muscles"), and doesn't really exercise enough. Like many girls she resents her thighs and hips, but does not get hung up on her flaws as much as some of her gender might do. The same goes for her face; while she understands that society is superficial and prettier girls get to higher places (though not without depraving themselves in some manner), she does not dedicate much time to her appearance. Most of the time she wears black-rimmed glasses, but has been known to switch them out for contact lenses. Her eyes are not actually purple (forgive this author for not having access to image manipulation programs at the time of typing), but a light shade of blue which verges on grey in certain lights.

Kara is blonde like the majority of her family, and her hair is (much to the chagrin of her peers) naturally straight. It is often tied back in a bun so messy that most of her bangs fall into her face, but most of the time her hands are too dirty to fix it. Her other features are small and delicate, yet her entire appearance does not give off an image of fragility. Admittedly she does scrub up quite well (after all her twin sister is a model), but she never has the opportunity nor desire to dress up and parade around like a Barbie doll.

Personality: Kara's demeanour has been conditioned by hours spent on the internet, and she is not afraid to bring her trolly persona out into the real world. At times she is sharp-tongued, others she is quiet and will pull a ridiculous face rather than answer a question. Mostly she is very laid-back and ambiguous, and one struggles to get to know the real her. Nothing seems to faze her, though internally she does tend to worry and fret about things. Kara finds it easier to deal with children than adults, though stints at babysitting have always resulted in her being fired (apparently showing children the joys of image boards is a bad influence).

Kara is very naive, despite her external facades. She has brains, yes, and an opinion on most things, but shutting herself in her room has left her lacking on knowledge about the world around her. Though she has been on dates and whatnot, she has never been in a stable relationship (kindergarten does not count, especially as she 'cheated' on him by giving her cookies to another boy). Boys don't scare or overtly appeal to her, they're just there.

Family: Somewhat large due to her parents' divorce in 2008; she has a twin brother and sister (both of whom were in the 'popular' clique during high school and pursued sports and art respectively after graduation) as well as an eighteen month old half-sister from her father's second marriage. Before their split, they lived comfortably, but the absence of their father meant that Kara's family had to down-size (her mother being an elementary school teacher, her father an accountant). To make up for this she got a (rather embarrassing) job as a mascot for a local amusement park.

Background Information: Kara is the middle sibling of triplets (older brother Nathan, younger sister Stephanie), who were all born and raised in the suburbs of New York. The children were oblivious to the tensions in their parents' marriage, and were amicable towards each other until middle school when Stephanie became involved in cheerleading and Nathan had a growth spurt - both fell into the 'right' crowds. Kara had her own circle of friends but was ostracised from the social elitism of her siblings because she was so different to what they perceived to be 'normal'.

In her sophomore year, Kara discovered that her parents were splitting up. Unlike her twins who were distraught at the fact they would have less money, she simply got on with life and found a job as soon as she could to support her mother in her own way (paying for clothes, dinner money etcetera). There were dates, the odd experiment with alcohol and other girls (she decided the latter was not for her), but she avoided cigarettes and drugs. Shortly before graduation, Stephanie was revealed to be suffering from bulimia and much of her mother's efforts went into ensuring she recovered from the illness. Combined with her father's re-marriage and the birth of another sibling, Kara distanced herself from her family and found it easier to shut herself up in her room rather than deal with them directly. The internet became her best companion and she often found herself on notorious image board sites.

After taking several aptitude tests in both junior and senior years, she finally decided to enrol in college and major in Geology (giving her a delectable pool for puns and other terrible snippets of wit). Not only would this serve to further sever her from her siblings, but it would allow her to visit Hawaii during the module on volcanoes).

I'm done. It's shorter than usual because I haven't RPed in ages and am trying out a new character type. Hopefully it's sufficient but if not, I can amend things (and curse other people for making tomboys!).

Thanks. :D I won't be able to get much done until tomorrow, as I have plans for the rest of today~ I can quickly read the thread though and see where I can come in.

Question: do I have Kara introduced as a completely new character, or is she literally replacing Makayla with all the things that have happened so far? Will the others know (of) her already?
 
She will be physically replacing her. Likewise, everyone will know her. However, keep Lunamon's sassy nature.
