    Martha Stewert has been sentence to five months in prison and 30,000 fine. Yay Yay. but what is bad is that The average time in prison is 10-16 months. What is your view

    I think she should have been put in a max. security prison (instead of low) for atleast a year with atleast a million dollar fine. 30,000 is like a twenty dollar bill to kids and about 800 bucks to there parents aprox.
     
    I think she'll have the prettiest jail cell ever ^^
     
    Now she'll do in jail what she does most of the time...Get up at 5 am wash dishs do some work out do the laundrey make someone her bytach and go to bed. In all honeslty I think she desereved it
     
    It was a fair sentence for what she did...I mean people tried to accuse the courts of sticking it to her because everyone knows she's a hateful hag behind the scenes of her show, but she did commit a financial crime and got what she deserved.

    No, they went easy on her --;; If you (if you were thirty or whatever) did what she did then lied about it you would have gotten an enourmous fine. larger then that and a year + in prison.
     
    Well I'm just glad, little jailtime or a lot, either way because she's probably the only celebrity to go to jail for anything =/
     
    Um, she lied about stocks I think. Hmm, she did deserve it, but I think it's funny, and she kept her cool. She said she's not afraid...Let's hope she doesn't drop the soap...um, 7_7

    On-topic: I think this if fair, I mean she *did* do that illegal thing with those stock records, but I think people are giving her too much of a hard time about it.
     
    I think she got off too easy. I mean not even a year for doing what she did. Lots of people got hurt (the people that worked for her), I think like 200 people lost their jobs over this and also it messed up the stock market and everything. I just think 10 months is to short.
     
    I think she got off easy too. If funny how these double-standards work. I don't think it's fair. I don't understand how celebs always end up getting less time than regular people. Maybe they have good lawyers...

    Hmm... well, from what I hear, it seems like Martha Stewart was a bad girl (call me Mr. Obvious). =X Well, if she truely did lie about her stocks, then I think that is pretty fair. After all, it isn't nice to decieve people, especially over something like that.

    No, Mary Kate is Anorexic. You probably heard that she was on Cocaine from a Tabeloid (a newspaper that has untruthful and fake articles).
     
    They went to easy on her, cause she's a famous. :/ Now if she wasn't famous, mwhahaha! It'll makes things much worse if she's a minority like me. :P
     
    I never really knew who Martha Stewert was, until i saw all that stuff today on the news about her. She deserved what she got, but i can't empathise further..since i don't know much about her.

    Not saying you're wrong or anything, but as well as hearing she was anorexic, i also heard she was on Cocaine; not from some Tabeloid newspaper, but from a British T.V channel...>>

    As for Martha, well, I do think that she should have been punished more, but let's look at it this way: Just by being famous, she's getting a LOT of attention for this. The world knows about it, so that puts a lot of pressure on her right there. Though she deserves it, it is harder for her because she's famous. The paparazzi already comes up with enough stupid things to say about celebrities, and this is just fanning their flames. This has probably put a pretty big dent in her career, too.

    I have heard about how mean she is in real life, and now this proves it. She does need to learn that she is not a superior being; she is a real person that's no better than anyone else, so hopefully some jail time will do her some good.

    I guess that her sentence is enough. I don't really know; I'm dumb when it comes to these things. But, her reputation has already been ruined, and that's bad enough when you're famous and almost everyone in the world knows who you are.

    I juzt zaw an interveiw with her a few minutez ago...I mean, I overheard a few minutez of it while I waz eating...but that countz right ^^;;

    Anywayz, zhe waz talkinga about how zhe waz azhaimed that zo many ugly photoz had been taken of her in all thiz ztuff. Zhe zayz zhe'z uzually zo photogenic but theze were terrible picturez!
    ...I think zomeone zhould tell her the reality of what'z going on. Zhe zhould be more worried about what'z goign to happen to her after zhe'z releazed -_o
