Some of the artists I really like that I discovered thanks to this playlist are Grimes, The Radio Dept., Field Division and Arms and Sleepers. What about you guys?

I expected there to be classics on the list, especially the double entry from Pink Floyd there. I do love Grimes so happy to see that kick off the playlist. But I do give extra credit to Matt (maccrash) for going out of his way to pick stuff that is obviously older than his generation, which goes to show that even a young person can heavily prefer the older stuff.

EDIT: By the way, Dark Side Of The Moon came out in 1973, not 1971.

By the way, it's incredibly hard to pick just one song from albums such as Dark Side Of The Moon and The Wall, because, in all honesty, those two albums are meant to be listened to continuously without stopping. Especially The Wall, where it's a story.

I think exactly the same about DSoTM. I actually feel bad listening to any of it on its own when I don't have time to listen to the whole thing since it's more a performance than an album which is supposed to be experienced as such.

...can't say I have much love for The Wall though, heh.

Happy to see Grimes =) Alt-J somewhat fell off the face of the earth for me (except for that one viral video), so I'm glad to be reminded of them, I really enjoyed some of their music when An Awesome Wave was just beginning to be in vogue. (Same goes with Sia and Miguel). Great idea, expect more participation from me!

I started making a list, but realized that would be a dangerous thing to do, as I would eventually then add those listed songs to my Amazon wishlist, knowing it could be a while before I get them. Buried with enough songs on there as it is.

Incredibly varied this week in terms of genre. I love it! Although it's a shorter list than last week, I think it's more fitting considering the amount of repeat customers and avid listeners. We'll keep the limit per user to one going forward.

Some of my favourites this week are The Internet, Semisonic and Ryan Adams. What about you guys?
