Issue: Dissapearing text?

God, I hope this isn't some simple problem like all my other problems are :<

So on a couple profiles, and even a few posts, the text is not showing up whatsoever. I figured it might have been the colour blending in with the background, but that's not the case. I have a couple screenshots of the problem I'm having.

The first could be a possibility, but the second is unlikely.
Mainly because every single one of BH's posts are invisible to me. Even PM's. I've seen the VM's thing on a couple other profile too, but Chibi's was the first I noticed; thus, the one I screened.

Maybe Rukario would look into this. Even if it's unlikely, you should check your computer or browser if everything is working as it should be.

Well, I'm using the new Firefox 3.5 Beta 4.
So if anyone else with that browser could confirm this for me, that would be great.

I don't really see any reason for it to be a computer problem. I keep it safe and all that good stuff. I only visit PC, Youtube, Myspace, and Facebook anyway. Even if it was a computer problem, I wouldn't know what the hell to check xD

I'll try switching over to Safari real quick and see what happens.

I'm using Firefox 3.5 B4 and am not having trouble whatsoever.

I'm also using FF3.5b4 and I can still see everything. try emptying your browser's Cache. it could be that your browser, in an effort to spped up page load times, is simply using an older setting.

(just out of curiosity, does this same thing happen if you use a different browser, or only with FF3.5b4?)

Do you see this paragraph twice? If not, seems like you have arial deleted from your system fonts. That's the font he is posting in… and maybe that's the font the profile is set to. It happened to me when I accidentally removed too many fonts. It's a core system font so it won't display anything. You'll have to get someone to give it to you or system recovery.

I see it twice in Safari but once in Firefox

Must be a browser problem then. I'll try emptying the Cache and see if that helps.

EDIT: Cleared the Cache and it's working like a charm. Thanks for the help guys.

In my case, It disappeared but I changed the colors so it got back...

Internet browsers and certain other programs have their own fonts that comes with their package. It's likely Safari has arial in it's package, whereas firefox searches your fonts folder.

Not too sure of this though.

its definitely a font issue on your side... either a cache issue or your browser, for what ever reason, didn't have access to the font file it needed. My guess is the former and since you cleared your cache and its working, then its all good now.
