Well it probably won't be soon. I'm thinking that, if I do get a pet, it'll probably be once I'm on my own. Not sure if I'm gonna stay in this state or not.

But if I do, probably a mouse, since they're the most invasive and it'd be a matter of them coming to me. That or something of a smaller rabbit. Or...I dunno. Other than that, there are snakes, but I do have a (strange and complicated) weakness for cute things.

Gotcha. Wanted to try to own slugs, only to find that it's illegal to own ones not native to your state. I find slings and baby snakes pretty cute.

I'm not a huge fan of parrots in captivity tho.

I'm not really. Sad fact is that a parrot that has been in captivity will never have instincts sharp enough to survive in the wild. We took some parrots from a rescue place after their owner died, if I were to get some more in the future it would be from a similar place.

That's good that you're helping them out, I commend you for that. I don't have the time or space to care for them so I never looked into it. Have you ever seen the Nature episode about them?
