No, it's not related to skin. It's just a bug with php and our version of VB that will eventually get fixed when the php gets updated within vb.

I remember when I used to have three browsers up (Safari for forum browsing, Firefox for DWRP, and Chrome for...stuff; I don't even remember) and my computer would run just fine. Now whenever I bring up a second browser it lags for a bit, then only works well when I don't switch between them and lags a bit again when I close one.
