I went into Clannad thinking the character eye design would put me off but it didn't. Not sure how far I would have gotten if everything else didn't look great though. Bishoujo VN adaptations have certainly churned out some ugly stuff over the last 12-13 years, that is probably the biggest batch of shows with unappealing design for me. Then it would be the ones which are just sterile and unimaginative, I'm sure I don't need to name names here. My final big dislike when it comes to chara design would be the Vocaloid/Super Sonico/2hu type stuff, I don't have ADD so I suppose that isn't surprising.

If the show is good though it is obviously pretty easy to look past.
