Lasted a long time actually (3+ years) and even right now I'm not exactly sure how it exactly ended up or of it even ended (aaand I don't think explaining it will make any sense).

Regardless, this is for internet relationships, not dating per se.
 
Personally I think that how they type and how they talk are two different things. How they look and act in person are just as important. I would hazard that most online relationships have ambition to be together in person sooner or later, and I think that to commit, I would have to have experienced all of these things.
 
I don't, thats too dangerous. I do not even date irl. lol. xD
 
Honestly I think I'm the type that would prefer an online relationship to an offline one. I'm not the touchy-feely type, nor am I affectionate or a romantic. I just... I dunno. I open up a lot more online about certain things than I do offline. I can't see myself ever using a dating site or something like that, though. I'd rather just meet people naturally and if something comes from it, cool.

I don't really understand the appeal of "dating" exclusively online though. You'd have to have some sort of intention to meet somewhere down the line.
 
I will honestly pity anyone who has.

I don't see the point.
It is like dating a group of pixels.
You will, most likely, never see them in real life.
It is a waste, in my opinion.

Never. I'd prefer a real relationship in real life. I don't even want to meet my online friends. I vote against dating online. You risk breaking someone's heart, and then you feel bad. I don't date online. Never will. Plus typing the words "hugs and kisses" isn't the same as getting real hugs and kisses.
 
No, I personally don't believe it's the right way to find love.

no, because you can't always believe what others type on the internet. I much prefer to get to know someone in person if I really want to have a serious relationship with them.
 
Nope, I never dated online and I never will. I dont see the point of dating online when you dont get to see the person, in person and hung and kiss them (or do a bit more ;) )

Nope, never tried and never will. It's dangerous to schedule meetings with someone if you haven't seen them before or don't even know their background. It could also prove to be annoying and horrible in many ways. You could have some old fart post pictures of himself/herself looking young and beautiful, and you could fall in love with them...until you actually get to know them :S
 
I could never date online...I mean, I suppose you could have an online "relationship" but I'd never be able to take it as seriously as a normal one, simple because your only means of communication would be the internet. I'd actually have to meet someone before dating them =P
