Do you ever associate someone's personality with their avatar?

I mistake too many peoples gender by their Avatar rather than their personality

It's some uber kawaii desu girl-chan, then I look over and it's a "nature: Naughty. Gender: Male"

However, I do associate the person and gender based on their avatar ...I'm sorry. ;_;

I sometimes do, if it's not inanimate or abstract, and I do assosciate genders (ignoring that I'm male and Katy Perry is my avatar). xD

Ohh yeah ive done more of the think they are female because of female avatar. But as far as personality some times too, but most of the time i get to know a little bit of them before judging by the avatar. Some times it does reflect a lot of their personality though.

Be it that you can't see how someone looks on the interbutts, yes, it's a force of habit.
Nah, I don't associate their avatar with their sex all the time.
But I am guilty of doing it in the past. :x

I sometime mistaken someone's appearance with their avatar; which is weird since most of it are cartoon and anime avatars. :O

Well. sometimes it just can't be helped xD
If it's a funny avatar, I'll take that this person has a good sens of humour or likes to fool around y'know.
Then the same thing goes with "emo" avatars, "fangirl" avatar etc.
But most of the time I rather look the way they write than their avatar.
