    I always do.
Here's what happens at the exact times:
6:00 o'clock, school days, going to school:The bullies copy my homework.
7:00 o'clock, school days, in class:I have to peek behind me to check for anything suspicious, when ohhh, they launch their water bottles on my face.
12:00 o'clock, school days, recess: Where'd my lunch go?
1:00 o'clock, school days, hanging around my pool: I'm getting some sun, and suddenly I'm carried and dumped into the pool.

So does anyone get picked on?

    =/ I get picked on bullies al the time. At my older school, I had a horrible time with bullies...Now at my newer school, I still get bullied. Many by people who are bigger and older than me O_o;;

    not really...sometimes though...

Nope. Im bully free. But at my busstopp there is always someone wanting to pick a fight with me or another kid, but only sometimes. (Blood thirsty little kids! Their terrible!)

    Not really very often...

Alot of people that bully others don't bully me because I have a bunch of High School and Junior High friends. Though I'm not that popular or weak so I'm not much of a target ^^

Bullies? What are those? Some kind of disease? j/k

Nah, I never "seriously" got picked on, if I did it was for fun. More than likely it was because of the fact that most knew I could fight back *studies martial arts.* Funny part is everyone knows I play the Pokemon tcg, lol.

Nope... I don't think any of my schools had an issue with bullies at all really. Well, there was this one girl I used to be friends with that was mean to another one of my friends. But not really bullying. I did used to get picked on by this one girl... because I was so quiet! I wouldn't talk a lot so she would always yell at me to talk... and of course that made me talk less... at least to her. But I don't really consider that being bullied...

That is bullying....I think. My teacher said that bullies try to make you do things that your dont want to do.

Well yeah but it didn't really affect me in any way. I didn't give into her... I just ignored her really. She was annoying that's all. It was more picking fun at me than forcing me to talk ya know? People always do that to me... even now... since I tend to be really quiet. But that's only when I have nothing to say. I do talk if I was given the chance. I hate when people bother me about my quietness... I guess it could be considered bullying... but on the other hand I don't... I don't know. I don't really remember much about it... it was a while ago...

Kiyumi, i feel so sorry for you. That's really not right! Haven't you told someone about what's going on...like a parent or teacher? It really needs to be stopped...those bullies shouldn't be able to get away with things like that.

Anyway, in answer to the question, i'm not getting picked on right now....but people have picked on me before....like last week, for example, i was walking to school and these guys who were quite a bit behind me, started chucking stones at me for no reason; several of which ended up hitting me and making me rather annoyed. Eventually i ended up having to cross a road and had to wait a long time to cross since there were so many cars...-_-; and by that time those guys had caught up with me. While we were all waiting to cross...the guys started laughing and whispering about me and then they starting going on about what they were going to chuck at me next as well as making faces at me...etc. I was totally fuming by this time...wondering what in the world gave them the right to go on about me like that. So on impulse, i grabbed the guy standing nearest to me by the shirt collar and....um..well..i said a lot of things i probably shouldn't have and made a lot of threats his way...but hey, the two of them just looked quite shocked and so far they've never chucked anything at me again..

    Man that'd suck...
If anything similar to that happened to me, I'd have them unconscious on the sidewalk instead of crossing the street... I don't tolerate being picked on... and maybe I shouldn't, but I react violently...

...ehh I might just ignore them though... it would depend on the mood.

One time me and two of my friends were walking down the street at night... and well maybe we shouldnt have been doing this... but we were lighting the a very old paper sign on a stop sign up in flames, with some flammable stuff and a lighter... and then these people across the street playing basketball started talking about us and making fun of us and stuff... so we went back and told one of our other friends, and we brought... a baseball bat, a metal pole, and a wooden stick and went back to the stop sign, and by that time they were very quiet... didn't say anything.

So thats one very bad example on how to deal with bullies.

I'm too quiet that kids don't bother picking on me. They used to, but I never talked back, so they gave up. =/ So hey, ^^; I'm a bully to people who treated bad meh friends. I so tormented this girl in middle school, I always tore up her homework. She told the teacher, but she said "She's not bullying you! She's the quiet one!" XD I only do that to meanies who are mean to meh buds =/

    *dies*

People used to bother me all the time in Elementary and Junior High...not anymore, though. By Grade 9 my method of coping was imagining the violent deaths of my tormentors, so it's probably good that I got away from those people. o.o

People are so cruel today...we've been poisoned by so many outside forces and it deeply saddens me to see so many of you victims of such ignorant hatred.

I, too, was tormented. I don't think I was happy any time between 1994 and 2001, from the time I entered 1st grade to the time I left 7th grade. Since I was a bit precocious and quite heavy-set many years ago, not to mention the most innocent, kindly person in my grade, I was the perfect target for bullies...I was picked on constantly, beaten up, and outcast. The brutality never ceased...they saw me as a freak. Nobody else was treated that way...I was the lowest of the low. I remember absolutely dreading every day, wishing I could just disappear, and these horrors lasted up until the end of 7th grade...by then I had grown bigger than everyone in my grade (back then I think I was 5'10) and therefore could no longer be beaten up, and magically when I entered eighth grade, everyone except the preps (who hated me up until this year, my 10th grade year) somehow began to understand me, and I was suddenly popular in a way...then the bullying stopped and I was able to finally find acceptance, but not after many years of horrors unspeakable...I'm scarred for life, I suppose, but I'm just grateful that I've escaped the hatred of my classmates.

Man, I can't really remember the last time I was bullied...i think, 9th grade was my last bullying year...heh

I try to be nice to some people, but if I sense that anyone is a:

    1. Racist
    2. Biggot
    3. Ego-Head
    4. Bully (generally the "I'm bigger than you" bullies)
    5. Leech (a person who won't go away even though you blatently let them know to)

If you fall in that category I love to bully you day in and out...and I'll gloat about it...yay! yay I bully and enjoy it!

We all bully somebody...whether we admit it or not...

    BOO ya!?

    (Lol, what's a Biggot?)

    I don't go to a public school, and so it's not often that I am around a lot of other kids. But, even when I was in public school, I don't remember ever being bullied. I was kind of in the middle category; I wasn't considered a mega dork, but I didn't hang around the most popular people. I could talk with them, but I wasn't interested in being buddies, mostly because they were always so rude to anyone who wasn't as rich, pretty, smart, etc. as them. But, I still tried to be nice to everyone, and so I had several friends that would back me up if anyone happened to insult me, and I would do the same for them. ^_^;
Now, I don't think that anyone would want to mess with me, mostly because I'm a bit taller than most girls my age. (And I'm only 5'6! I feel short when I read how tall most of the other girls here are, lol.)
I still run into a mean person every now and then, but since I almost always try to be polite to people, they're not usually rude back. And even if I do get insulted, I tend to just ignore them... I am just not capable of thinking of a witty comment to respond with. -_- Maybe, after I think about what happened for a while, I can. But not instantly. I guess that's my only problem when dealing with bullies. Though, I wouldn't want to start a fight or anything. It would be nice to know some sort of self-defense whenever I need to defend myself. I'm going to take maybe a karate class or something. =D Muahaha, so you won't want to mess with me after that!

I... typed a lot. I'm in a typing mood. Wee! *goes off to post more long messages*

Talk about a lot for someone who doesn't even go to a public school hehe...
    *whistles*

I'm usually able to respond with very witty comments, but not around bullies either. I think it's just strangers in general. I just can't think of anything at that exact moment. I actually think that the bullies are too afraid to mess with me hehe...
I mean, they have such a big opportunity to try, and they don't. When it did happen to me once though, I think I scared them away with my menacing look hehe...
Oh yeah, and I'm skilled in the ways of the martial arts. I went for one day and never returned hehe...bad incident.

And actually, I did have one big bully. In California.
    ...Johnathon....
Oh, I never liked that kid! He would always take advantage of me just because he was 3 years older.

Not as much as you but, eh, it gets the job done hehe..

I have the same exact problem...I have an absolute inability to make comebacks on the spot if anyone says anything insulting to me...and therefore I'm worried that I'll never have the important skill of being able to tell someone off to their face (I hope I never have to though...) I suppose since I haven't been exposed to some of the insults and things that other, more antagonistic people have been exposed to, I don't have any material to work with...which is good in a sense, it forces me to walk away from a fight.

Also... bigot (noun): A prejudiced person who is intolerant of any opinions differing from his own.

Well, older doesn't necessarily mean that they are stronger. Most bullies come to be because they feel intimidated by you or one of your friends, so they feel that they have power when they bring you down. Most people say "Stand up to the bullies, don't let them see the fear. DON'T FEAR THEM AT ALL!" Hmm...sometimes fear can make them slack off on the bullying. But, if they are copying your homework or something, just say "No" with some authority in your tone. They will back off soon enough XD
For me, yesh, i did get bullied from elementary school all throughout middle school.
Thank you for tuning in to the insightfulness of....me! This is very rare! My advice is at your desposal XD
