Do You Give A Damn About What People Think Of You

A while ago I did, then i realised i was being a bit paranoid and that whatever people thought about me might upset me more, so i just dropped it and i really wouldn't care anymore.
 
I don't care. People will just have to take me how I am.
 
I care what my friends and family think of me, yes. And there are certain situations where I care what strangers think of me, like a prospective employer in a job interview. But, aside from that, no, not really. :/

I do care what people close to me think. But, when it comes to strangers (other than employers/job interviews/etc), I really don't.

If they don't like me, so be it. They can just learn to accept people how they are.
But, if something's blatantly obvious like my shoe is untiedmy hair's out-of-whack or something like that, then I don't mind them pointing it out/whatever they do.

Like I said, it just depends.
 
Well like I care what certain girls think about me but other guys and friends and that, I don't really mind cause we always just say stuff to each other jokingly lol

I really don't give a damn either. XP

I think society places too much importance on what they perceive as socially acceptable.
 
Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. It changes from time to time ^^;
 
Back in high school i did more than i do now. Now i don't really care but it still doesn't mean that i should not pay attention to how i dress. Now that is just uh...hmmm like c mon man! In any case yeah i dress ok but i don't give a flying rat what others think of me as long as i don't hear it.
 
There was a point and time when I did consider what others thought about me, but as I grew older I learned that I am my own person, I'm unique in my own way and what others think of me is only their opinion. Those who like me as who I am is accepting and right for not judging one before getting to know them.

However, like some have mentioned there is certain circumstances when I still do care about what others may think of me. For instance when going out for a job interview or when I'm in school and my teachers take an impression from me, and other critical points such as this.
 
I'm always like that outside,I have like no self esteem for myself it's a pity. I don't even wear the best clothes but I always hear some stupid comment behind my back. What's to do about it just get over it Paul~ ):

Well, actually I give a damn. I give a damn and a half.
I can get pretty hung up on it.

But it depends on who it is. I mean, I don't want my family and friends to think badly of me.. but there are some people I don't care about at all. The people who I don't like.. I know they think badly of me, so I'm not wondering.

I hope I sort of .. grow out of it, like everyone else here seems to have done.
 
Well, I think everyone does to an extent...even those who insist that they don't care. (If they really didn't care, I don't think they'd be posting that they don't.) Caring what others think is just a human trait, and it greatly influences our actions. That's generally a positive thing, but a lot of people are TOO concerned about what others think and let it control their lifestyle. I certainly do care, but I have high self-esteem and don't let other people's opinions get in the way of my goals and desires.
 
If they like me whohoooo If not that's thier problem I will not change who I am
