Do you have your Driver's License yet? If not, at what age?

    So, who here has the official driver's license of the country/state they are in? Or...who here drives illegally. If you don't have a license yet, what age can you drive?

    :) I have many licenses...of which one of them is a driver's license! *glares over at license to kill and license to stalk and license to be crazy*

    Over here in California, the min age was 15.5 to drive a couple years ago, they changed it to 16 recently.
     
    I could've gotten my permit anytime from about 14 years, 9 months... but I never did. >.<

    Now I'm almost 16 and I'm ready to start my classes. ._.;;

    Well I could have gotten mine almost a year ago, if I did then I would be rolling up on my license by now.
    I have a cousin that just turned 15 and I always said I was going to get my permit before he turns 15, well now the only thing I can do is get it before he gets his first. XD
     

    I got mine. Been able to drive since I was 18, lol. I didn't wanna drive at 16...didn't wanna pay for gas or have to run errands for people, lol. :knockedou
     
    I got mine over the summer. but because I have neither a car nor insurance, I can't actually drive anywhere yet. >_<

    actually I might have gotten a car by now, except my sister got into a wreck with her car over the summer, costing about $2000 in repairs... so there went my hopes of getting a car. oh well. I kind of like riding the bus...
     
    Yup, I'm driving round in my Mercedes whilst everyone stares at me thinking "HE CAN'T DRIVE YET!!!" Seriously though... I can't drive, and since the legal age is 17 in the UK, I'll have to wait for 3 years :(
     
    I got my driving license in May. :) It was my second test (I majorly messed up the first one!) and I was so happy when I found out I'd passed! I'm scared stiff of driving though! XD

    Got it? Yup. Use it? Barely. I hate driving, they're too many negligent drivers out there. I also lack money for a car and insurance, but commuting is not really bad. At least I don't have to get stressed about traffic. =\
     
    Well, I'll have to wait until I'm 16 until I can actually get my liscense, but I do know how to drive. I couldn't tell you what all of the weird buttons in front of the steering wheel do, but I know how to push the pedal and turn the wheels. XD I thank my grandparents for that--They've always had two golf carts at their house, so all of the grandkids could drive them around everywhere! (I was an expert at driving them at like, 7 years old. O_o) There are a TON of back roads around their house, so we can drive anywhere around there without having to worry about having a wreck. We've always been really careful around them, and none of the younger kids were allowed on without an older person with them, so it worked out.

    Anyway, I honestly don't really want to drive a car until I'm an adult! Call me weird, but I just don't have the desire to. When the time comes then I'll get my liscense, but don't expect to be hearing anything about a crazy female teen driver in Texas named Kayleigh wreaking havoc on the streets, lol. XD
     
    I'm of legal age, but my dad has been too busy to take me to get my driving test done. I still drive, I have to have an adult over the age of 21 in there with me cuz I only have a permit...
     
    I don't have it yet... but I should get in on Wednesday! I'm scared that I'll fail the test though. I have less than a week left before I take the test and I just found the book yesterday... meaning I have to get studying. As for my permit... I got it in April... a month and 4 days after my 16th birthday. In CT you have to be 16 to get a permit and four months after you get your permit you can take the test.
     
    My mom kind of worries about me driving because she thinks that I'll always be stopping for animals and going really slow so that I won't run over them, lol. ^_^; That would actually be true, though... I couldn't stand to hit one, but a human's life is more important, so I couldn't try to avoid one if it meant that it would put anyone else driving around in danger. I guess it will just take me a while to get used driving in a busy place. I still won't go too fast, though.

    Ah. well im 17, old enough to have my liscence, but as you once said, im too lazy to read a borinbg little book and take a boring little test XD. And I have a car and no permit even XD.
     
    YES! I have my drivers license! XD j/k If I were to drive, I'd make everyone roadkill. I might even kill myself in the process. O.o I dont wanna even think of the possiblities. XD
     
    Next year when I turn 16 I will be able to drive... In a way I'm sort of excited to get it, because of the convience and all the walking I usually have to do during the day.

    What I really want to do one day is get a motorcycle, since I rode one in the summer and fell in love with them XD.
     
    When dad see's some one on a motorbike roar past he calls them a 'temporary australian' XD. Because the accidentamd death rate on motorbikes is real high O_O.

    My mum used to ride a motorbike. she still has the liscence.
