I have no problem hugging friends if I feel they need it or I haven't seen them for awhile. I'm not hug-happy, but I don't mind them. I hug my family a lot.

As for taboos, pretty much anyone I don't know really well. As for guys hugging other guys... *shrug* I really don't care.

    Seriously, I love hugs.
Really, sometimes I just think to myself "Huh. A hug would sound good to me right now."

I give hugs to my friend Meggie becaude she likes them and allows me to give her hugs all the time.
    She's like my hug outlet.

I really need more people to hug.

    Hugging better than kissing?
Poissibly. I haven't really kissed anyone before, but Hugging seems more affectionate to me. :3

    Guys hugging guys?
I'm gay, you tell me. T_T

I don't like kissing, I'm bad at dancing, and sex is awkward...but hugs are where it's at.

I only like hugging the person who belongs in my arms, along with a few close friends. I hate it when people I'm not remotely close to hug me. I'll e-hug people, but in person...eh...

However, if I saw a PC buddy in person, I might just glomp them.

edit; Kissing > Hugging, but I think it depends on the situation.

hugs they come to me, I walk into school or church and a friend sees me (a girl) and gives me a hug. Acorse a Kiss is better but I dont think I want to kiss every girl I see. Also I dont have a problem with huging a guy if he is a close friend but If I justmet him its just plain weird

what is your few on hugs: Everyone day there's a good chance I'll hug both my parents, so pretty often. That is the question, right?

is it better then a kiss, or vise versa : Never had an actual kiss...
Depends on the situation, but it's a good alternative I guess.

whom to you is hugging taboo with? No one

what do you think about guys hugging guys? I have no problem with it. And actually if something big happened we end up hugging any nearby friends, so again I don't have any problems with it.

    hmm... hugs...

I have no problem with hugging. I would hug any girl to say hi, and any blood relative guy. Since I am half mexican, I was taught that hugging is no problem at all. I noticed that here in America, its quite the opposite it seems. If a guy hugs a guy, its a **** alert. Not there.

For some reason, I'm not really a "huggy" person. It just feels weird (probably 'cuz up until this year no one actually gave me hugs) and guys hugging guys is no different than guys and girls or girls and girls. I do feel more comfortable hugging girls though.

It's probably a cultural thing for me because my family hugs eachother all the time as a greeting and a farewell gesture, even guy-on-guy and girl-on-girl hugging aren't all that shocking in my mind...

As such, I prefer receiving and distributing hugs to kissing. >_<

what is your few on hugs
    Does... not... compute...

But if you mean to ask about my view on hugs, then I'll just say that I love hugs!!
I don't like the idea of hugging just anybody, though... I like it when it's with people I know and I like.

is it better then a kiss, or vise versa
For me, I really can't say one is better than the other. Both have their own places.
I can hug anyone I like, but my kiss is reserved for that special someone, lol.
Moreover, I don't have any experience of kissing, so I wouldn't really know...

whom to you is hugging taboo with?
    People I hate/don't like.
    Other than that, nobody...

what do you think about guys hugging guys?
It's perfectly fine. What might be wrong with this?

I feel awkward when people hug me, and I don't hug other people. It's probably a culture thing. I feel like my personal space is being violated when someone hugs me, and I feel like I'm violating theirs if I try to hug them.
I've noticed that you have a shortage of cute and lovely feelings in yourself, XD. That's one different view you got there...
What if the other person wants a hug from you? Would you still feel awkward?

I disagreed with the mods on that one. Why is sex such a taboo in society? I just don't get it. It's fine to see people slaughter each other in movies and games in the most gruesome ways possible, but throw in the slightest bit of nudity and Fox News has some dumb jerk calling your game a porno simulator that's destroying the fragile minds of our nation's children (for the record, I didn't like Mass Effect anyway). :/ I'm not saying violence should be tabooed, I'm just saying that it's absurd that it isn't and sex is (since we all know it's better to stab someone than to have sex with them, right?).
Just wanted to say that I agree to this point.

I really don't like hugging anyone as I used to ):
You sound like you need a hug to start liking hugs again, lol!

Gawd, I love hugs. They're pretty amazing. ^.^

When I'm feeling pretty down, I just open up my arms and normally one of my friends rushes to get there and hug me. They make me feel so much better.

That free hugs guy at your school probably just feels lonely and wants a lot of hugs, haha.

Anyway, I personally find that hugging is more intimate. I love to kiss, but hugging is just so...perfect. When you're holding the person who means the most to you in your arms, keeping them close to you and never wanting to let go, it seems like more of a way to say "I love you" than to press your lips to the other. But hey, kissing and hugging can be done at the same time.

And just as hugs are super intimate, they can also be incredibly friendly. So versatile and adaptable, these things are. :P I hug all my friends to say goodbye or hello or if I just wanna hug them. n_n hugs are so cheerful and friendly.

AND AND AND hugs are perfect when someone is feeling down. You don't even need to say anything, don't have to ask them why they're crying or upset, you just gotta hug them. That alone helps so much.

I've actually never hugged my parents, the first time I had ever gotten a hug was when I was 14 from this girl in nearly all my classes. Then I got one from another girl and now all the males like to hug me -_-.

I've found that hugs are much more pleasurable than kisses. I don't know why, but I always prefer to be embraced by someone opposed to having someone's lips touch against my own. It gives me a sense of comfort that kissing just doesn't give me. I can't remember the last time I got a hug that meant something to me, unfortunately. I know the last hug that did was from my mother. Maybe I'm just longing for one.

And one last thing... what do you think about guys hugging guys? *coughfreehugsguyatmyschoolisfreakingmeoutcough*
Don't worry, he's not going to try to get in your pants or anything... :|

Two guys don't have to be homosexual to show affection of eachother. I mean, seriously. Don't be so closed minded.
