The recording of your voice is actually what your voice sounds like to other people, you just perceive your own voice slightly differently as it is coming from inside you iirc.

Anyway, I'm glad I don't hear my voice the way others do, 'cause I sound like a little girl. Not helpful when I'm trying to portray a 'grown woman' image also I'm short

My voice sounds noticeably different over the phone/computer/recorded (to me, at least). I really hate how that happens, but my friends have assured that I still sound nice so I don't give it much thought.

I dont mind it.
Although sometimes I record myself singing just for laughs.
It just sounds so much worse hearing it the second time then when I was actually singing.
