Do you name your things? :O

    I do sometimes. I named my PS2 Tiger because its got a mind all its own. It's six years old and it doesnt play DVDs but it listens to me when I tell it to play a disc that is scratched by me rubbing it and saying it can do it. ^^

    I also named my laptop R2D2. :'D

    My comforter/blanket's name is Blankey. XD

    Anyway, by naming I mean do you name your things for the hell of it or do just not bother giving names to them? XD

    Ugh...how else can I put it? DX
     
    I only name my electronic things. Like my Zune, my laptop and my desktop, My DS and my cellphone all have names.

    I also have naming schemes for all my storage devices and such. I also change the naming schemes frequently. Currently, the scheme is Anime characters. My Zune is named Belldandy, My laptop is named Asuna, My DS is named Onpu-chi, and my cellphone is named Impmon. :3

    I haven't thought of a name for my DS. I just call it, "my DS". XD

    Oh! I have one of those pool noodles, mine is Blue and it's name is wormy. :'D It looks like a worm so I named it wormy...

    I also have a basketball named hoops and I used to have a laser named Flicker, because it often flickered alot when it was on and wasn't that bright...but the then the stupid teacher took it from me and then lost it and I was pissed...manly because it was very special to me. ;;

    Yeah, I remember when i had my old computer, I called it Mr. Stupidhead. :'D I hated that computer because it didnt like me. DX

    The things most important to me, yes. DS is Rory, Laptop is Lorelei, Wii is Richard and Ipod is Luke. Yep, they're all Gilmore Girls characters. XD

    lol...when you said you named your iPod after Luke, I was like...Luke the S-Mod? XD Anyway, I named my ipod Lelouch! :'D I think i did because it was black but also because I was obsessing over Lelouch at the time so...yeah. XD
     
    I've named my Zune, and one of my airsoft pistols.

    My Zune is named the X-Pod V.2 because I had one before, but the their stupid choice of plug type caused the Zune port to screw up. I couldn't charge it or anything. Obviously, it was named X-pod, so I named my new one V.2. As for the name itself, I called it X-pod because I wanted an mp3 device, but I didn't want the mainstream i-pod crap. so I named it X-pod. >:3

    Then my airsoft pistol is named Silver Eclipse. On the side of the handle, I etched in S.E with a nail. I have no sentimental reason behind naming it that other than I like Eclipses, and the gun is silver.

    And then I obviously named the steril egg in my sig after it. XD
     
    My laptop is Sasha =)) Idk why.

    And my mobile is mobie ~
     
    My PC is Ol' Betsy.

    And my Bass Guitar is Heart.


    But that's it.
     
    Nope. I don't believing in naming my possessions. They're inanimate objects, right? What's the point of showing them signs of affection when they can't feel anything themselves?
     
    The only things I name are the characters I create. They could be called 'things' in the sense that they are imaginary and can only tangibly exist primarily as a drawing on paper.

    I name my things after people 'cause I'm fresh like that.

    • iPod Touch = Brendon (Urie)
    • Phone = George (Craig)
    • Laptop = Ezra (Koenig)
    • DS = Alex (Turner)
    • Television = Tord (Overland-Knudsen)

    I say the names so much my friends know what I'm talking about instantly. BD
     
    I named my Wii "Steve" for whatever reason. I don't ever call it that, but I've always recognized the fact that it has a name. :P

    My brother named the shotgun from Halo "Bessie," though. He thought of the name by thinking of a cow when comparing it to other things: it's big and slow, but it's critical and it gets the job done.

    Also my MacBook is called Modoki, my iMac Mokona, and I'm trying to think of a good name for my PC. Jeez, we need to educate you a bit more =P

    My Wii is called Rocky after my godparents' collie that died shortly before I got it. This makes Pokémon Ranch awesome, because my ranch is called Rocky Ranch xD

    My iPod Nano is called Fumi.

    I basically name things that need hostnames or device names xD
