I really like reading, Bt Id prefere to see naruto do the rasengan and edward transmute objects then read about them. Anime

I have never finished reading a whole volume of manga before. It's mainly because I end up going to the animé instead and stick with that. I guess it's because I like having a voice to associate to each character and like to see the characters move. Also getting to listen to the BGM used is a plus as well.

The only manga I would have finished (didn't because of onemanga's death) is Umisho, because the anime really only covers like 1/4 of the story... and maybe the first pokemon special I guess... but I stopped like half way through for some reason.

Manga.

It's easier for me to follow in a short period of time, I don't have to wait for it to load (I know I can just download anime/buy it, but the former would also take the while, ESPECIALLY if it's a torrent, while I just don't have the cash to buy much because it was already spent on a video game or something), and I've come across quite a few anime series where they have to leave things in a cliffhanger because the manga isn't finished yet.

Anime's also a killer to my eyes because of all the animation, while manga's just static. I will admit that you can get better shots from anime instead of manga for sigs. or icons or whatever, unless you're great at coloring manga scans.

I love both, but I prefer Manga. When reading manga, it usually covers the actual story better then the anime. But I do love watching anime too. There are times where I'll just read the manga since the anime isn't very good, aha.

Now the stuff I read/watch is a different story, ;3

I prefer animé, because it's usually drawn better and is easier for me to understand.

I really like both, I read manga when I don't have an anime series I'm working on. Sometimes the manga is online other times it is from the library. I also read other books too though XP so I am just a bookworm in general so I guess it doesn't count for me...

Anime is way better for me than Manga since more stuff you will see, like effects and so on for me.

Well both equally really! Anime is great for watching and Manga's great for reading :D

Hmm... I think I posted in here before, so I'm going to amend my opinion (if any) right now.

Although I prefer manga if the plots are the same (e.g. Haruhi. To a fault.), I do recognize that there are a lot of shows that just would not work in manga form. For example, Geass, Lain, and, possibly, Paranoia Agent. They would lose much of the impact, and a lot of the awesome.

That said, I still like to read manga. It's enjoyable, and faster.

I normally watch anime and I prefer it

It depends on the anime, to be honest. I usually try out both forms before really getting into the series. Only when a series with a certain genre that is more exciting to see in action, then I will watch it as an anime.

I'd always pick manga over anime. There's just something about holding the material and see the textures of the page interact with the artwork that I absolutely love, anime just can't match that. There's also the fact that I do dislike a lot of voice actors, so it's easier for me to give the characters their own voices in my head as I read along rather than dealing with anything I can't stand. I really suck at multitasking so that makes anime something I like would not be able to do during that time, whereas with a manga I can just pick it up and put it down a lot easier when I need to.

Anime. I'm weird like that. I only read manga when an anime ends in cliff hanger and I want to know what to do next. My friends really disses me for that. XD

I liked anime first but I like both equally.

This is a tough one for me.

Most anime is based on a manga series, and I'm the kind of fan who (generally) prefers the original incarnation of the story (due to Adaptation Decay-look it up on Tvtropes ;) ). Plus, you can read manga anywhere, on the bus, between classes and such. With anime you need a TV or computer monitor handy.

But on the other hand anime is in full color and I find myself enjoying a lot of anime soundtracks, which of course you don't get with a manga.

I'd have to say I prefer manga, but just by a tiny bit.
