    I do. A very strong connection, with the first three Pokemon I get, very much. The others are cool too, but the ones I get near the start just...connect to me. I can't get rid of my Servine, I love it too much, it is my starter and is strong and loyal! Can't get rid of my Stoutland, it's amazing and I love it! Second Pokemon ever caught, and never let me down! And my Unfezant always is trustworthy and never gives up! And my other Pokemon are harder to share a connection to, but I only have 6 badges, I'm sure I'll find the right other Pokemon to connect and friend with.

    They need interactive Pokemon...in the main games. So bad.

    I tend to pick up at least one Pokemon along the way that I get greatly attached to . . . not usually my starter, though. In my latest Platinum playthrough, it was my Absol, Hecate. I didn't pick her up until after the E4, but we just get on so well. I talk to her and my other Pokemon a lot, and it's almost as if they talk back sometimes. For me, they have personalities, feelings and opinions of their own. Maybe I'm taking this a bit too far, but I love my team members, especially the ones I've put a lot of work into.

    I never use any Pokemon that I dont like, so I have a connection with all my Pokemon. Except for the occasional Pokemon ill need for a gym/battle thing, like Pansear for Cheren, and then later Darmanaitan(Who I like..) All of my Pokemon are ones I like sooo much, or ones im trying to evolve to the Pokemon I want (Like my level 39 Fraxure Axe <3). Especially my Grass and Grass/bug Pokemon, like my Serperior and Scolipede. But pretty much I have connections with all my Pokemon, though I do trade out one or two every now and then for Pokemon I like more and are better suited to what im doing, I never keep a Pokemon I dont like for very long. Misheard, your not weird..I have conversations with mine all the time...And they talk back most of the time..Unless their angry with me for letting them faint (>'.')>. Crazy? No. Insane? Maybe.

    I feel like I used to have more of a connection with my Pokemon in the older games (maybe this is just nostalgia kicking in...), but I do feel a strong connection to at least some of my Pokemon. Of course, I've gotten to the point that there are so many Pokemon that I want to train that I don't have a team, per say, but I still feel attached to a lot of my Pokemon, particularly my starter.

    I probably felt most attached to my team in Gold, but then again, I feel most nostalgic about that game in general. I had a five-member team (one extra slot for training or an HM user) that, frankly, was horrible competitive-wise, but I loved it nonetheless. Earlier, on my Red version, I only used Blastoise my first time through and trained up other Pokemon later, so I was obviously attached to that. Since generations 1 and 2, I've still felt connected to my team, but not to the same extent as I did in the earlier games.

    I kind of do... haha. That's why every time I restart my game, I'll be sure to trade my old party to another save file and then trade them back to my new game so I won't lose them! I think it's the feeling of beating the game with a team that you created and trained endlessly with. I do put in a fair bit of effort in picking members for my Pokémon teams to make sure they're balanced typing-wise (they cover most types with attacks and can resist most types' attacks) so I'm a little happy when I see that effort pay off in the game. This whole thing sounds reeeeally sad considering it's just a video game with digital monsters and whatever, but idk. XD;

    I start to build connections with my team as I proceed into the game. That's why I have a hard time restarting a new game.

    I build a connection with my whole team. Though there is usually one standout. In my Ruby it was Gorebyss, Emerald it was Seedot, Pearl it was Wormadam, Platinum it was Emploeon, HeartGold it was Togekiss and White it was Lilligant.

    Hmmm... Not that much. I have the best connection with my most favorite Pokemon of my team. Always it's Espeon. I remember always having Espeon in my team on Platinum/HG/SS

    No because usually they end up being really bad, like hot damn Liepard you suck so much it's not even funny get out as soon as I find a Pokémon that's actually good.

    Yes. I get extremely attached to my pokemon right away. In my wild imagination, I actually imagine myself with them, traveling the world of pokmon together. And so it makes me feel even more connected to them. It's super corny but it makes me enjoy the games even more <3

    I know that people may say that they're just pixels but even knowing that I still can't help but feel a fondness for my Pokemon (mainly my nicknamed ones I've used in countless battles). They sort of grow on me through experience and I can't help but be proud of them when they pull off a well-fought victory. One Pokemon that I'm particularly fond of is my Rotom, Havoc. Even though he's hindered by having 0 IVs for special attack, he's fought in so much battles for me and has even pulled off some surprising victories; I really don't have the heart to replace him with "something better". Even with my team on White, I've only had them for like a week or so but I've already become fond of them. Some people would probably see that as pathetic.

    For sure, I get really attached to mine :D There are always a couple I tend to end up favouring more than others, but at the end of the day they're all still part of the team I've chosen and I feel like they're loyal to me and I just love them to bits lol :D I even look forward to switching on my game to greet them lol xD

    Kind of. Usually only in games that I've played for an insane amount of time. I admit, I had trouble restarting SoulSilver because I didn't want to part with my Sceptile. That was only because I'd trained her from Emerald and then continued to in SS. So, she'd been a part of my in game team/s for a while. Usually, if I form a "bond" with a Pokemon it will be the one that's the most powerful on my team. (Bad, I know.) Like my Typhlosion on SoulSilver, or my Charizard on LeafGreen. I think I would have a stronger "connection" with them if you could interact with them. Honestly, the game I'm most likely to bond to my Pokemon with is SoulSilver because they follow you around and in a sense you can interact with them.
